I have a very particular taste in art, which comes out in the photos you are about to see, if you have not already seen them.
I do not take any credit for these beautiful pieces, the credit goes to kidchan and gtako on DeviantART.
I will post more as more come along.
Perhaps from different artists, as well.
Forgive me if I have mixed any of the pieces up between the artists.
I was stupid and did not label them by artist which I should have done.
If I have done so, please tell me which ones and I will get them moved. Thank you.

You have such wonderful taste in art, John.
I must say, I'm really loving the art from gtako right now.
Don't get me wrong, kidchans art is beautiful as well, there just seems to be much more depth and color involved in gtako's pieces. My favorite is the first, it says so many things in it's silence.

I agree, I was first opened up to kidchan's art though, so I have a soft spot for her simplicity. Gtako is an amazing artist in her coloring and style. I love how each image pops out at you in a different way, giving you a different feeling in each piece, a different story.

I know I'm not tired and I highly doubt you are, but I have therapy tomorrow and I'm sure you have classes you need to go to?
If you want, I can drop you off at the school before I head to my session?

I understand. Try and get some sleep when back from your classes, alright? It's not good to be losing so much sleep, your body can't handle too much of this. You're going to have a shut-down period pretty soon, I can tell.
Thank you... I'll just treat myself to a nice fast food restaurant or something, as much as I can afford anyways, ha.

it is truly worthy of sharing and seeing.
though, it's made me come to believe we're running out of ideas.
nothing's original and whatever happen to simple portraits.
anime's used to much to try and create beautiful art.
it's used so much, it really is hard to see beauty in it anymore.
but that's just my view.

Originality has come to an abrupt stop, leaving us left with a bunch of mumbled attempts at beauty. It's repetitious and sad.

You make a very good point, one I have not thought about, but yes, I have noticed the interlacing of anime in a lot of art now days. Too bad there is nothing we can do about it.
I'm sure someone will come out with a new style of art that will blow our minds... perhaps someday?

yeah.
just for it to be overthrown and die out too..
lets just hope we live long enough to see this wonderful style of art.
this may be a bit off topic, but i've also come to realize that it doesn't seem to be about quality these days.
more or so, it's about speed, quantity, and arrogance.
it's just everywhere.
music, clothes, art, jobs, everywhere you look...
oh well.
like you said, we can't stop it.
it's saddening that we can't...it just really is....
