As you've all probably heard, Lanzer and the other admins are putting up an Angelic Halo up in a raffle. This item, the first donation item ever to be released in Gaia (Way back when this site was called "go-gaia.com"), is nearly priceless, with estimates putting it at upwards of 350 million gold.
That's a lot.
My question to you guys today is this: If you were to win the Angelic Halo, what would you do with it? Would you wear it every day? Would you store it away? Would you sell it and finish ludicrous quests? Something else, maybe?
Me, I would sell it. I mean, look at my avi; I'm no angel, that's for sure. After selling it, I'd go after every "demonic" and "nitemare" item (most notably Nitemare Minis, which I've always had a soft spot for ^^). From there, I'd help some close friends with their quests. After that, I'd invest half of whatever was left so that I'd have gold for stuff I wanted in the future, then with the other half, I'd probably just go on random donating sprees.
What about all of you?

 [I'm not a bad person...]♠ I know I'd say 'I'll sell it and make a whole bunch of money,' but I never would, I don't think. Any time I sell it, I'd be losing money... so I'd hold onto it, just in case I 'ever really needed it.' Always there to sell it in case I wanted to, but never really being used... too awesome to use, you could say. Then, on special occasions, I might break it out and just wear it above my head. It would be pretty cool. 3nodding  ♠ [...I just have bad luck.]

Truthfully, I would have trouble grasping the power it holds ^^ the Gold it's worth, the first item stuff. It's a little big for my mind to grasp quickly. It's a lot like winning the lottery, you have to be very careful. Image the hackers and spammers that would go after your account because you had that! 0.0 I'd keep it a secret as long as I could. I can't just sell it, then I still have a ton of gold. I'm still a huge target. So I'd store it in my inventory, and I would not tell anyone. It seems like a huge burden to get something so great. But of course. I'm just thinking logically, something I tend to do in situations like that...I can...get a bit...carried away. sweatdrop

I wouldn't sell it since it might attract hackers or scammers. I'd hold on to it until it been a few months or years after the contest before selling it. If I were to sell it, I would use the gold to buy other "old" MCs that I want such as the Nitemare Scarf. The rest of the remaining gold I have would be used to invest and I'd store it away on another account. If I don't sell it, I'd just keep it a secret to myself. I wouldn't be tempted to wear it since I'm not exactly the angelic type.

I'd like to say I'd sell it and rake in all that dough for other items I want...but I know I wouldn't. I have a thing for keeping specially-granted items (my friend gave me a striped scarf when I was new so I wouldn't look "new", it cost 3k and I thought it was the bomb...I don't wear it anymore but I still have it)...plus it's the first donation item ever!
I might wear it, but then I'd be afraid of people randomly chatting at me or trying to hack my account. No, maybe I'd just try it on with all other possible outfits I have and make a bazillion screenshots~ <3

I don't think i would ever use it but I would probably keep it for a while and then sell it. I know that as soon as I sell it I will find a outfit that it would have went great with . Then i would have buyers remorse. But I would soon get over that as soon as I buy all of the new items I would get with the gold.

i would soo sell it. i personally think there are far more better items then that for example nightmare scarf (i hate you chris XD) and if i want a better halo i would go for the dark halo and plus 350million i'll be set for the rest of my time on gaia XD

If it were a super awesome epic beautiful-tastic halo, I might keep it for awhile. But to be honest, it does not look all that great. So I would sell it but not on this account. I would sell it from a mule so that my main does not get spammed with scammage. No thanks.
Then I would give some of my gold to my favorite Gaians.
I would use the rest to buy those really pricey items I have always wanted. After that, I am sure I will still have a lot so I might host contests with big give aways for fun.
I dunno what I would do with the rest though.
