wait i think if you unequip them completely they become unsoulbound like how you can trade fish when you put them in barret's tank wink

Unfortunately you can no longer unsoulbond rings. It was put into effect I think in December.
Anyone that had rings that were not equipped before December could keep them and sell them. But any rings earned or equipped since then can no longer be unbound or sold. I can't remember the exact reasoning, i think it was because people were levelling up in the game too easily by just buying rings. So instead they increased the orb and ring drop rate and bond them to the player.
