[I'm not a bad person...]Well, we don't have a topic about this, so we might as well post something up to discuss what rings we like, yes? ninja
I'm the type of person who uses the same set of rings all the time, so I don't really switch it up a lot. However, I'm interested to hear what other combinations people are using and what other rings are effective in battle. 3nodding
My main set consists of:
Left Hand -Keen Eye -Hack -Shark Attack -Slash (Pirate Class - Footspeed Bonus)
Right Hand -Diagnose -Coyote Spirit -Defibrillate -Fitness (No Class - No Bonus)
I'm pretty much an all-arounder type of guy, with emphasis on offense and speed. The pirate set bonus and the coyote spirit speed buff allow me to lead the attacks and also get away quickly when I get hurt. Having a bit of speed is never a bad thing, right? That's also why I use diagnose as my healing ring - one quick burst of healing energy for myself and anyone close to me, with a faster recharge time, too. No waiting around for Meat or Bandage or anything like that. 3nodding
Additionally, coyote spirit lets me buff my friends as well, giving them a little extra dodge and footspeed. Not necessarily the best buff, but it lasts a looong time, and it sometimes makes a bit of difference in battle. After all, we could all use a spirit puppy. ninja While carrying defib in my 7th slot means I'm probably going to be last on the 'defib chain', I don't really mind that much; to me, having my pirate ringset matters more than being the first one revived anyways. While I can heal and I do carry a defib ring, that's not my ideal job anyways...
So, if you all could just post here and tell me what rings you use - and maybe a little bit why you use them, what your strategy is, what combinations work best - that'd be awesome. ninja Perhaps we'll all learn a little bit from each other this way... [...I just have bad luck.]

Okay, my turn XD Left Hand -Mantis -Dervish -Shuriken -Ghost (Ninja Class - Dodge Bonus)
Right Hand -Slash -Diagnose -Divinity -Fitness
(No Class - No Bonus)
My ring set is all about offense. It's more offense-oriented than SwordsmanChris' set, which can be a burden and a blessing at the same time. With the Ninja Set's dodge boost, Ghost's impressive dodge buff, Fitness' boost to... well, everything, and Shuriken's accuracy debuff against enemies, I can become almost untouchable very quickly. Four attack rings is a lot (Mantis, Dervish, Shuriken, and Slash), but with Divinity, I have the Stamina to spare, especially due to how stamina-efficient the Ninja Set is. With Slash and Dervish for multiple enemies and Shuriken and Mantis for single enemes (IE Bosses), I can dole out the damage, which is how I enjoy playing. Run in, cut up some enemies, go home. Easy as pie. =P
However, because of how offensive the set is, I tend to somewhat difficult to work into a group, mostly owing to my lack of a Defibrilate Ring (I have a CL 10.0 Defib, I just don't wear it a lot). I have Divinity, which people usually appreciate and Diagnose for quick group healing, but that's about it. The best thing I can do for a group is to occupy an enemy (or enemies), and keep them busy long enough for the others to get their bearings.

my turn..WOOT Left HandSolar Ray Diagnose Shark Hack Right HangDefibrillate Dervish Scardey Cat/Duct Tape (depends on how i feel) Divinity/Fitness (depends on how i feel) I base my ring on the way i attack. I usually attack in order of my rings. Diagnose is 2 because when I'm defib i have a way to heal and then the attacks come. Also these were the first 4 rings that been with me since i started and i hate putting them away. These rings are just any rings i want to use but i like to just stay when defib, obviously to revive people. dervish, so i can attack more then once. Cat if i need to run i have the cat to scare them so they don't attack me. Last but not least Divinity, plan and simple i run out of stamina really fast ^^.

Left Hand -Mantis -Shuriken -Dervish -Ghost (Ninja Class-Dodge Bonus)
Right Hand -Bandage -Defibrillate -Guns, Guns, Guns -Fitness (No Class-No Bonus)
Not completely sure what I was thinking when I put my rings together. I was in Zen Garden and decided that I might need a set for later, and Ninja opened up first. Since the first two rings are automaticly unlocked when you're defibed I have my Mantis and Shurikens all ready. But I do admit that I might be better as a healer, even with only two healing rings, if they was on my left, but I concider myself an attacker first, healer second. Thus that's why bandage is in front of difib. Longer a person stays alive, the more likely they don't need to be revived. The guns are for another long range attack since dervish is short range only, and Fitness speaks for itself.

Left Hand -Mantis -Slash -solar rays -Guns, guns, guns (No Class-No Bonus)
Right Hand -meat -diagnose -Defibrillate -Fitness (No Class-No Bonus)
good offense and healing potential, with the ability to quickly attack an enemy at a range or MURDER a single enemy while weakening any foolish enough to stray in your path. the defibrillator and the diagnose can also be used on other player characters. which allows to easily help other players in trouble, which we of Symphonia cannot, and should not, just pass by, or ignore.

Left Hand • Solar Rays • Defibrillator • Diagnose • Slash (BONUS: NONE)
Right Hand • Hack • Dervish • Fire rain • Divinity (BONUS: NONE)
I keep Defib in my second slot for group runs. incase a lot of people get ko'ed I can at least revive someone the second I'm revived. Solar rays is my main means of quick attention. Usually if theres a large group Ill start off the attack. Ill solar ray and hack my way to the group center, then ill let off a half charged fire rain, a guick diagnose then a full charged dervish. Then i quick select the closest monster and begin solar ray >slash> hack combo ending with dervish, then once i have full rage i unleash another fire rain, Divinity doesnt really have a purpose as I never notice the difference in stamina regen anyway. Looking for something to replace it. Might go with either: A. Quick sand or B. another multi enemy damager/ or stopper.

Left hand -Mantis -Hack -Solar Rays -Hot Foot (No bonus. sad )
Right hand -Bandage -Healing Halo -Divinity -Ghost (No bonus. Dx)
I'm planning on getting the Angelic and Demonic ring sets, tho, since both bonuses are things I value a lot: Stamina Regen and more Luck.

>Left Hand: Solar Rays Hack Slash Diagnose (no bonus)
>Right Hand: Coyote Spirit Divinity Teflon Fitness (no bonus)
I was checking which of my rings weren't soulbound so I could sell them and looked up my old ringset. Seems a little lacking in atk power now that I think about it, but I got by ^ w^ I rely on Hack&Slash and use Rays when those are reloading. Usually I switch in Defib when I'm in a group.
I tend to hit and run, buffing and then going in to chip away at health. Either that or I assist by buffing and atk from a distance with Rays (and sub in Hot Foot or Shark Atk).

Left Slash Hack Shark Attack Keen Eye (Pirate, footspeed bonus)
Right Varies between: Angelic Demonic Trickster (leveling up atm) I also almost have Ninja, Spacey-thing, and Medic.
Erm. I'll switch, depending on item farming, orb farming, or crewing. <<; If you can guess, I'm one of those crazy people who has all the pokemon games and has caught all the pokemon in all of them.

Left Hand: Defibrillate Diagnose Dervish Mantis
Right Hand: Hack Shark Attack Divinity Hunter's Bow
If I'm not crewplaying, I switch Defib with Mantis. I'm not the type to carry large amounts of buffs around, I rather attack.

Left hand Solar Rays Mantis Hack Slash

I mostly am an offensive person, but a healer if it's needed. Not the greatest at either, but at least I can be both. xp
