Well to put it simply, my fathers current (and irritating) obssesion with family history found I could be traced to John Hathorne. For those that don't know, he was one of the Judges in the Salem witch trials.
I find it rather ironic, no? Great great great great (etc. untill relivent) grandson to one of the people who he so killed.
Well, I thought it was interesting.

Hmm. I've tried to trace my family history, but the trail on my mom's side goes dead in Columbia, and all I could find out about my dad's great great grandmother is that she lived in Sweden. Well, at least now I am registered as Hispanic at my school so I can get a scholarship better.

Wait you can get scholerships just for being hispanic? ********...

Electric Snowball Well, the colleges get good creds for taking in minorities. Oi. Personally, I just hate it when race is the issue for some actions done by buisnesses, schools, etc. I think it's called affermative action? I admit it's nice, the school get's more money, but at the cost of their credibility in my opinion. I'm probably one of the whitest people anybody is going to meet. I ******** reflect light. Add a little polish and I'm a talking mirror. My parents say I have some native american (no idea what creed/tribe) but with no proof, I'm... well, just white.

Yeah, well I don't really look Hispanic. Columbians usually have dark gold hair, dark eyes, and medium skin. But from my Swedish dad, I got blue eyes and pretty pale skin.

Hey, how do you trace your family history because lately, I been having this strange feeling that there is something about my family that I should know, but I can't figure out how. I tried to search my family, but the only thing I can find is somethings that don't seem to relate to me?

I tried an online family tree site, but they wanted you to pay for it. I suggest talking to your grandparents, and looking up names they give you in county documents or the internet, if it's recent enough.

D: Snowball: Yeah, they do make you pay. It sucks in a way. Personally, I just think that if you want to, get as much info from your parents as possible and leave it at that. My dad's just... wierd like that. Blabber. I think it's just the life style that makes pale skin. Do you tan or go out much?

Well I am french, he escape German prison to the second war and enter in the resistance, I think he reads a lot of things about communism. After the war he enter in syndicat and in the party. He always believes in human beings and right. He fight for social rights and I am proud of him, but that's in the blood because we found activist people in almost every ancestors and always against church dogmes.
