Unfortunately I don't think there is any way that we can enforce that.

In my opinion that's part of clan chat, its for us to socialize and grow closer together as well as band together in adventurous adventure. I like the random rambling.
Spamming is more what I consider mass posting something of no reason whatsoever such as posting the word moo fifty million times, or random letters.

Seriously lighten up. I see that there is a limit now on who can talk and that is just not right. A talk pane is for talking. I understand the cow jokes were really dumb. But a chat pane is for chatting. Not to sit there and you know limiting the pane is really friggin annoying. If I need help from people I go to the clan to find some one who will help it is very useful and you know a lot of people loved the conversations we were having on that. If you do not like the clan chats just leave the clan. It is simple. Don't ruin it for others because you do not like it. Don't be like the old women who call the FCC because some one said fart.

If we couldn't chat that would make the clan boring, and if the clan got boring I would have to leave.
Besides that isn't spam, if someone was spamming the clan channel then yeah it would be kinda annoying, but theres nothing wrong with talking. If you don't want to see clan chat use the Area tab.

That wasn't even spam -_-......spam is completely random stuff, pie cake gnome null asdhjksalfhsjkdfhdskfj, they were talking about the GAME. The whole point of a clan chat is for people to talk about the GAME and socialize to get closer with friends and the clan. Unless they're all going skfjdskfsk they're doing the exact thing that the point of clan chat is for.

what they really need is a way to split up the chat pain so I can have one that just shows Gen chat stuff and one that shows guild stuff. its such a pain since everyone seems to use the area yell chat to talk to the person standing 2 foot from them.
