zOMG! Chatterbox Summer Celebration!

With school out for for most of us and summer just around the corner, zCB is kicking off the season with a week of events! From Monday, June 15th, to the first day of summer - Sunday, June 21, different activities are going to be held in the guild or on zOMG. Some events will be just one day while others will last all week long. The trivia game, flying giftboxes, and roll-a-dice giveway are returning, along with several new games including a low-budget, high-prize tektek contest and a unique race (against others) that will test your skills in teamwork, leadership, and organization.

The zOMG! Chatterbox is a guild for zOMGers! You're not a member of the zCB or you don't play zOMG? That's okay, because there is PLENTY that you can do to celebrate the zCB summer events with us! Check out our public thread!

Weeklong Events

Please note that you must have at least 25 posts in this guild to participate in the weeklong events (anyone can join in on the daily events)! In some cases, the more posts you have, the better off you'll be!

Roll the Dice!
This is the biggest event - it's the one you're most likely to receive something in. Roll a number between 1 and 20 and win a prize!

Flying Giftbox!
From time to time during the course of the giveaway, you will see me post this image. User Image

Click it - it will start a new trade. Put the title of the thread you found the picture in and send the trade - the first trade I receive will receive a magical pink giftbox! This will happen multiple times throughout the week, so keep your eyes peeled!

Good Samaritan Awards
A member of the guild suggest we have a "Good Samaritan" contest where you nominate other people in the guild to receive the title of Good Samaritan. A thread will be created on Monday where you can post who you want to nominate and why. More information will be posted in the thread and the winners will be announced on Saturday during the beach party.

Week of Events

Monday
Does the zOMG Chatterbox mule's avatar is the same as NewBea's in Barton Town. But now that summer is rolling around, our zCB!NewBea needs something new to wear. Your challenge will be to design an outfit for NewBea using her base and her "iconic" item. I'll choose my favorite ten designs and put them up in a poll. The poll will be left open for two hours. Whichever design has the most votes will win. The prize? Well, there's a catch! That catch will be announced on Monday in the tektek thread!

Tuesday
We're going to meet up in Gold Beach for a fun, unique, and profitable game. You'll be split up into three teams, racing against eachother. Whichever team completes the assigned task will win a prize of 200,000g to be divided among each player! I don't want to spoil the surprise, but I'll give you some hints as to what the task is: It will be completed on one square (screen), each team will be on their own screen, and the game will rely on teamwork, speed, and quality!

Wednesday
I'm going to hop on my mule and run off into Otami Ruins (?). It will be YOUR job to find me. It's not going to be easy, though, because I'm going to be very, very tiny. You know the Fallen Wish infant pose? Yeah, that's gonna be me, baby. It'll be worth it - because the prize for finding me is 100,000g! When you find me, you'll have to spray me with a buff (one that requires you to target). Oh, and if you're caught with a speed boost on, you'll be disqualified.

Thursday
On the fourth day of events, a thread will be made. This is going to be easy - all you have to do is take a picture of yourself in beachwear somewhere on zOMG (it can be on Gold Beach or wherever). The picture should be small, no more than 300 by 300 pixels, please (meaning you need to choose your spot wisely and crop). The picture is going to be judged on what you're wearing, not what is going on in the background, but remember that a good backdrop can help or harm your overall appearance! The top ten pictures will be put up in a poll, which will be open for several hours. The first place winner (the person with the most votes), will receive 25,000g! Second place will receive 15,000g, and third place will get 10,000g!

What?!
Friday is a Sushi Bar/Buffet themed party - Dress as any "I am" food poses or cover your avatar in delicious goods. Alternatively, dress your avatar as a chef. For some extra fun, bring the Chef set or rings from it. And don't forget your buffs!

Come hang out with the guild in GB for a fun beach party! Wear your summer clothes or bathing suits and turn on the music! There is no contest or game going on, but if you know our guild, you know it'll be a blast. I'm sure will think of some fun, whacky, and crazy things to do. I don't know about you, but I'm gonna bring my buffs and rainbow bikini! ninja

You know those trivia games you know I know you absolutely LOVE? Get ready for another one. This one's bigger, better, and HARDER (what?! you pervert), than the first two. Why? The focus on this trivia game isn't going to be zOMG or Gaia - but general trivia from math to maps to movies to money. Don't sweat if all you know is zOMG and Gaia, because there WILL be some questions about them - they won't be easy, though. Have you ever seen Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? This is kinda like that in the sense that the questions will go from ROFL!easy to OMGWTF!hard. There will be three prizes (first, second, third place). Second and third place are a secret, but you're gonna love the first prize.
