Why? I'm in college and have a rockin' band. Education is more important than touring. This however is coming from someone who believes you need to be educated in order to understand the punx philosophy and not be from the era.

too bad college is a dead institution whose only practicality is in mathematics and the hard sciences, you're better served starting at any entry level position in the field of your choice. the only thing a BA accomplishes is to be "effectively middle class", which is about as far from any punXXXXXXX philosophy i've ever heard.

Havok, it really doesn't hurt to have a degree in something and call it your "backup plan", since there are no real guarantees in life, especially with music. As long as all your members are still at least in the same state, and you make time to practice at least once a week, there's no reason not to go to college. Unless its something useless like an art degree... like 99% of the people here, including my filmfag self.
