Dahlia watched her brother's face as he lead Viveka over and softened her posture a bit. She didn't think she was being rude, but the look on his face seemed to tell her to calm down, or at least move over. Her eyes glanced over to Viveka for a moment before she finally patted the space next to her and let the pair hop up and sit next to her. Up close, Viveka didn't look like a liar or remotely as mischievous as Valerian was. Something didn't feel right, but she couldn't help but want to get to the bottom of this whole issue.
"Hi, Viveka. I'm Dahlia." She said, clasping her hands together. "Uh... Yeah. My brother says that you came to the academy with no stuff because your mommy forgot to give you stuff to bring. Is that true? I don't know anyone who has a mommy that could forget to do something super important like that. Can you tell me the truth?"
Viveka scooted himself carefully onto the bench and slowly turned to Dahlia. She looked even more scary up close, like one of the bullies he had to deal with back home. They had a similar hair style and liked to dress in pink, but they weren't a hybrid. Dahlia was different than they were, so maybe she wouldn't be as mean as the bully back home had been?
He looked to her curiously as she spoke, only to find himself without breath a second later. Valerian had told his sister that stuff and she didn't believe it was true? He shivered, shrunk against the bench, and started to cry.
"Yes, it's true, and I'm mad at Valerian for telling you!" He screamed, waving his arms about. "Everyone is just like they were at home here! No one believes anything I say and they all bully me! You're just like that Nixie back at home who used to push me in the lake! They never believed me, either! I hate everyone, I hate this academy, and I hate the both of you!"
He hopped off the bench, looked in several directions, and sprinted toward the nearest empty booth to hide. He had to get away from the bullies, he wasn't safe with them! He wasn't safe anywhere!
Thomas, who was still working behind the counter of a drink stand he never signed up for, leaned against the counter in a very hopeless fashion. When would these weirdos let him go? He wasn't built for this kind of manual labor! He was an Elf from a very affluent family, and they would hear about this very unfair treatment! It was discrimination, bias, they only wanted to see him suffer for the gifts that his birthright had given him! Jealous, the whole lot of them! He huffed.
"Hey, where are you two going? There are more customers waiting!" He shouted, calling after the two people that were working with him. They replied with something that sounded like "break time" and "we've already been here for hours and you can handle it." Oh, so they were lazy traitors, too? How disgusting!

Well, they'd finally made it to the front of the festival, only to find that the lost and found booth was at the other end of the festival. The pair of Imps both supposed that it was only logical for that to be the case since the entrance to the festival had been there from the very start, but they still couldn't help but feel annoyed about it. Theodora herself was a bit miffed about it, probably more so than Duma was. She'd wanted to get more presents for the people on her list, but instead she was hustling after a boy who couldn't keep his head on straight. ... But he was cute and paying attention to her, so she really couldn't complain. "Okay, where's the entrance?" She asked, squinting. "... They really could've made more signs. It would have made this little adventure so much easier."
Duma winced at the irritation in Theodora's voice. Man, this wasn't going too well, was it? It wasn't his intention to be a pain in her side at all. He'd only wanted her help and she was doing such a stellar job. He silently swore, as the Kidden tried to nibble at his hair for the twentieth time, that he wouldn't ask her for anything more after this. He'd obviously made a fool of himself...
"Yeah, you'd think that they'd put the signs in an easily seen place, huh?" He laughed, pointing to the booths. "They're taped up there for some odd reason, and if we just follow the path, we should be at the entrance in no time. ... Pending any further Kidden related interruptions."

Ms. Jackson eagerly lapped up the peanut brittle in Matty's hand and ruffed at the scratches to his head. When the goblin bent to kiss his nose, Ms. Jackson jumped a bit and licked his face instead, tail wiggling happily.
Ryker blinked... and then blushed harder at Matty's words. Had that been what he meant? There was no denying that Matty was so freaking cute that Ryker could just eat him up.... but kids? He grinned widely. "Well, you know. You are pretty awesome. Can't let you get away, right?" He laughed and followed him, unable to stop his gaze from dropping. That goblin had the cutest butt. Seriously. "Let's see what I can do for you~"
"Oops!" she gasped, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you spill your drink!" There was sincerity in her voice as well, but she was glad to have found her friend again. She giggled a bit when she noticed the new friends Cyril had made in her absence. "I see you've made a couple friends," she said. "Well, I've got another one for you!" She was beaming once again as she held out a minty green and white flitterat to Cyril. "Look, he matches mine!" she giggled as Nico peeked out from behind her hair. "Have you been having a good time at the party?"

A third necklace had quickly come into his possession and he laughed, dancing a little to the solstice music and watching the glowing bulbs bounce on his chest and make some interesting color patterns. After a couple minutes of that, he took a break and decided to try his hand at another game. This one was a target game of sorts. The goal was to toss a plastic wiffle ball into a small basket and have it stay there. Much easier said than done. As was proven by Sid's complete inability to get the ball to stay in the baskets. Ah well, he got another one of those glowing necklaces as a consolation prize.
"No, it's fine. I still have some left," Cyril wasn't happy about the loss of his hot chocolate, but he was more pleased to have found Bibiana. He gave her a smile that was more grimace than anything. "Yeah. . . there was only one of them, but then the other one attacked and just. . it wasn't fun." The scratches on his face weren't bleeding, but they still itched faintly. He brightened, flashing a bit in excitement, as the pink geist held out the flitterrat. "It's so cuuute~" he cooed, taking it from her. Looking between the two of them, he gave a bright smile. "They look like peppermint and spearmint candies!" The two cockatriels made angry noises at the new pet, but he ignored them. "It's been. . interesting. Have you had fun?" She had probably had more fun without him anyway. . .

Full of hot chocolate, with the remainder of his candy stuffed into his stocking, Ares made his way back to the cannons. He would enjoy nailing a couple more people in the face with new plushies. There was a certain geist that he’d aimed for multiple times, and the expressions he made after getting nailed with one were literally the best. Maybe he could even rein a couple other people into his game. A librarian shoved a book into his hands just before he got to the cannons. He shoved it into his stocking without even looking at it.

Malachi was a bit at a loss when she said she wanted food food.... There wasn't really much of that around the festival to be had. And knowing her and how she got when she was hungry, this was going to get bad real soon. "Uhmmm.... I don't really think they are serving normal food right now, Hailey..." and boy oh boy did he wish he hadn't said that to her. She had her hangry face on now and it was not pretty.
Hailey whined and groaned when Malachi said that. "Whyyyyyyy... why would you say such terrible things to me when I'm so hungry, Khaiaaaaa?" The little Geist slumped against the Fallen, whining even more as she grew hungrier by the moment. Then, with a huff, she pushed herself away from him. "You know what... I'm just gonna go back to our room and get something. I'll be back!" Her tone was sharp and snappy as she finished what she had to say before storming off to their room, leaving Malachi by his lonesome. She was hangry and nobody liked her when she got to that point.

Dodger stayed and played at the ball booth for only gods know how long. It wasn't until the protesting barking of his now purse puppy, did he stop and take a break. He had won quite a few prizes, giving the stuffed animals out to kids around him because he loved seeing the little ones smile! It made him feel excited to be a dad someday. He couldn't wait to talk to Eileen about it more. He knew they both wanted big families and... 'Yip!' "Oops! Sorry lil thing! I was off in my own world again." With a happy laugh, Dodger dug out some more peanut brittle and let the pooch snack on it while he took the chance to throw just a few more balls.

Now that Bobbi had one more to add to xyr collection, xe almost couldn't resist trying once again for just one more grey cat plushie. Much to no avail, the Litch was defeated by the darned milk rings and trying to get them to catch on the bottles. Ah well. It had been a worthy effort even if there was no reward at the end of it. Gathering up the previously won plushie -- which was given a sneaky squeeze of affection -- Bobbi decided to try and find somewhere else to spend the last bit of time that the festival had to offer at.
Matty was more than happy to let his flirty playfulness get the better of the other guy. It was so fun to see how someone would react to how he said and did things. Plus the heat on Ryker's cheeks was to die for because of how cute it was! As he turned about, facing the Grimm once again, he pursed his lips before teasing him once again. "Don't think I didn't see you looking at my bum, you perv~" and he reached out, playfully pushing Ryker's shoulder. Oh course, he reached out and scooped up Ms Jackson from the other male's hold, cooing to the fluffy puppy happily. "Let's cheer daddy on! Whadya say, Ms J?~" Smirking as he peered up to look at Ryker, Matty winked. "Go get 'em, baby!" as Ms Jackson yipped along with him.

Feeling a bit on edge from the caffeine now coursing through his veins, Exodus was a bit on the jittery side of things. Mayhaps he had gone a little overboard with drinking the coffee. Now, since he was quite wired, the Demon had decided it was time to try his hand at some new games that he had never quite braved before. Though, decidedly, crystal tag was going to be saved for the last thing on his list! Maybe. He mauled these things over in his head before deciding to try out the batting cages that had been opened up to everyone for the festivities. This was probably not the smartest idea!, but it sure didn't stop him from giving it a shot! Needless to say, when he came to a few minutes later with a major headache and something akin to a third horn taking up residence on his forehead, he swore off having anything to do with anything baseball again.
Chessy watched the freshling wander off with a word. "B-bye, I guess?" she said, mildly shocked at his seemingly lack of manners. Crossing her arms, she huffed slightly and thought to herself, Well, I shouldn't let this spoil my mood. Wandering away from the treats, she went to another vendor and oogled a pair of bell earrings and picked them up. Bright red like her boa, she put them in her ears and grinned, bouncing away from the vendor - jingling with each step. The noise lured the attention of a small fluffbug - The insect flew towards her stocking, enjoying the warmth it provided compared to the cold air of the outside.
With his new pet still perched on his shoulder, Eli strolled over to the booth of plushies once more. The creature seemed sweet - though there was a communication barrier between the two, that was perhaps why he really enjoyed this rodent's companionship. "You need a plush-friend, like I have," he mumbled to it quietly. Reaching the table, he looked over the plushes once more before picking up a lightly colored jackalope with red antlers and a red bow. "Look, it matches you," he whispered, letting a rare smile slip.
