For a second... only a second, Ayla looked like a fish caught on land. Did he... did he just apologize? For hurting her? Blinking a few times, she had to take a moment to re-evaluate the situation. But even as she thought of possible responses, she just couldn't counter it with something sarcastic, or hurtful. So, she pursed her lips and spoke the first thing that came to mind, "... Oh."
Oh? You idiot! the Psion argued inwardly, stepping around broken floorboards and debris to tend to her wound. She stopped short, though, upon seeing Aliator's transformation and grimaced. Why didn't I just stay in bed this morning? She sighed, shaking her head to herself.

Yawgmoth scratched his arms and cursed under his breath. They were always so irritating. The way they were made was unlike normal tattoos. They were more like brands, secured onto the body for all time and even though Yawgmoth's thran form had been gone since his ascension into the being that was Yawgmoth they remained though usually only showed in moments of extreme emotional states like fear from his nightmare. He kept them hidden most of them an attempt of his to throw away who he was and embrace his new life as Yawgmoth so many years ago. But this nightmare and these marks were a constant reminder of where he'd come from. "Why would we want to share something like that?" Yawgmoth asked Ali peering over the bar as he took a seat to relax himself.

"It was the Ugly... While i was out. He.. took her... I mean im sure we would have gotten together.. but i dont think this soon... Its just weird.." He says looking at the floor.
He pours himself an alcoholic drink. Not caring of what was in it, just making it strong. He slowly slips it, then downs the rest of the glass.

Gently she rested a reassuring hand on his shoulder for but a moment, a small token of concern and comfort for her friend. "I wish it had not been that way. Forgive me for not understanding but you share the same body .. would not that be the same seed, no matter which form you may hold at the time of conception?" she asked, hoping to ease his mind with logical observations or .. be proven wrong.

"true.. but false.. My within my genotype i hold the angellic DNA codons.. The ugly has a set too but in him its recessive, his ugly gene dominant.. in me his gene is the recessive one... its the same.. but certain ones are altered.. So our kid could be born looking as the ugly.. with its physical, genetical, and mental attributes... So.. Another Ugly could very well be born."
he makes another drink and downs it faster. Making himself a third drink, quickly finishing it off.

"I see. And if the child id the ugly .. what will you do?" she asked quietly, a grim question but something to ponder. "My apologies .. on second thought, I should not ask such a question." she said quietly, averting her eyes. though they were friends, it was an impossible question that may not hold an answer. But a thought then crossed her mind. "In a month, when the child is more formed than the few cells that we all begin as, I could tell you what I sense." she offered. Even if he did not want to accept, at least he could have an answer to which path his child may take.

He shrugs his shoulders. "I dont know.. ask me closer to then." He stops and looks around.
He looks back down and thinks. What would he do if it was born as the ugly. His head clouds with thoughts. His aura shifts violently for a moment. Then returns to normal. His eyes flash a bright red from under the blindfold be returning to their steady glowing gold.

Waking also from having slept without realizing it, Ziven stretched and looked about. When she heard Dark speak, she was rather offended. "I beg your pardon? I wander through this place and tidy up several times a week in place of Miss Star, whom is not around to do so daily." she said shortly, not intending to be rude or upset about his comments.

"That is easy enough to do." she said softly with a small smile. Looking to the coffee, she pondered it for a moment before taking a cup for her own. "Thank you, I do not recall the last time I tried coffee. I prefer tea or water normally." she said with a small smile, taking a sip then nodding in approval.

Arching a brow, she smiled a bit and laughed. "You are quite odd." she said simply, finding it amusing that she would be the one saying that to anyone. "I do not say this lightly nor do I mean this disrespectfully. Though I must admit it feels odd to be the one saying those words rather than having someone make that comment toward me."
