How typical. The rainshower stopped as soon as a suitable establishment for shelter presented itself on the horizon, overhanging a tossing ocean. Danuka cast her dark, absorbing gaze to the heavens, considering that it was probably best to seek a roof over her head before a second cascade fell from the eddying grey clouds. She tightened her long fingers around the strap of her shouldered travel bag before continuing on at a slightly quicker pace, her hooves propelling her at speed toward the building. Mud caked her feet from the journey and Danuka waited outside at the door, clacking them sharply against the ground in an effort to shake off the excess. Her long tail flicked from side to side, the water that soaked it flying off in droplets; her red hair - on head, tail and calves - was undeniably wet and tangled. The building was an inn according to its sign; Danuka couldn't wait to rent a room and clean herself up. Satisfied she couldn't possibly make herself any cleaner with her current resources, she brushed a hand against the door to push it open and proceeded inside. Danuka allowed the door to swing closed behind her, lingering in the entrance until her eyes had adjusted to the dim light. Taverns didn't get much more traditional than this, it seemed, as she glanced over the contents and, most importantly, the occupants. Numerous unfamiliar faces greeted her, but Danuka was used to seeing those. After a second, she spied the bar, where two figures seemed to be engaged in conversation - she could tell they were acquaintances, so Danuka made an effort not to disturb them as she walked towards it, already tugging a leather pouch from her belt. It contained a myriad different coins and currencies from her travels, some of which she spilled onto the counter as she tried to determine which would be most acceptable for this area.

He pushed the door open and closes it slowly behind him, not wanting to disturb anyone who might've been in the bar. He was alone today and had thought coming back here would be good. Walking around the bar he got himself a glass of water from the kitchen. Walking over to one of the tables he sat and gently put down his drink as he just looking around, looking over everything.

Wandering across the room as Felix had, she paused in front of him as he sat and smiled pleasantly. "May I join you?" she asked cheerfully, producing a book of her own from thin air.

Stepping inside, Kurohito made his way to a table as he sat down. Reaching for his small blue bag on his side, he withdrew a mirror and a small plastic container of water. Grabbing a wooden bowl and a washrag he set them down on the table surface and removed his eyepatch. The eyepatch came off as a large hole appeared where it was, covered in dirt, blood, grime, and other unpleasant things. Puring the water in the bowl, he took the washrag and soaked it, as he started to wash gently thre hole and it's interior.

Turning as she heard another enter, she realized it was Kurohito whom she had met the other day. "Good afternoon, Kurohito." she said pleasantly. However he seemed to be on a rather gruesome yet necessary mission to tend to his eye. She bit her lip for a moment, trying not to react to the gore, and continued with conversation. "I .. hope you are well. Is that a recent injury?"

He continued to look in the mirror as he scrubbed the outer edge, revealing scarred tissue and wrinkled skin around the socket from the layer of horrendous dirt and filth. "Have had this injury since I was younger than yourself." He said with a laugh as he turned, the washrag hanging out of the hole and the end of it laid against his face. "I have not cleaned it in two years." He said as he reached up and grabbed a millipede that was attempting to squeeze out of the eyesocket by pressing against the rag. "I thought I felt something." He said as he took it and bit into it's midsection, swallowing the front end of it. He looked to her as he held the squirming and oozing bottom section out to her. "Would you like it?" He said as he smiled.

She shook her head rather sharply as she resisted the urge to feel ill, but at this point found it completely acceptable to show the dislike of the sight before her. "No thank you. How old might you be then to say with confidence you are older than I?" she inquired, keeping the conversation flowing and away from what was going on with his eye.

He looked at trhe squirming lower half as he took the end of it to his mouth and with a loud slurping noise the body went flat as the juice and meat enter his mouth. He swished it around as her swallowed, setting the bottom skeleton on the table. "46, 47 in two days." He said as he looked her over, reaching up as he removed the rag. His hand went to his pocket as he pulled out the whiskey. Opening the canteen, he poured it into the socklet and reached for his flint and steel. Looking at the ceiling, he struck it several times as finally the whiskeyt in the socket went up in flame." Dear, in my bag there is a small, glass dome with a rope on it, can tyou get it for me please?" He asked as he pointed to the small blue bag on his waist.

"oh...!" he said from ziven's request, but soon after her attention diverted to someone else he had never seen before, he wasn't sure who is was, and remained fairly quiet, he wasn't all that sociable, and found it awkward to make conversation on his own accord, in fact, any conversation at all he wasn't to confident about.

Looking at Felix, she smiled kindly. "You may not wish to watch this, little one." she said softly before going to Kurohito, fetching his bag, and searching for the requested item. She found them and quickly pressed them in to his hands, then returned to where she had been standing, several feet away from him.

He smiled and took the domed object, as he pressed it against his eyesocket, forming a seal. Tieing the rope off around his head, he looked at the two as the glass dome showed the fire in his eyesocket. He smiled as the flame continued, not affecting Kurohito in the slightest as he took a sip out of his whiskey. "Thanks" He said simply as he stood and stretched his arms out. "Let that burn any mold and insect eggs out and then I will rinse and it will be good as new."

She could not resist the urge to rub her own eyes at that point an odd mixture of empathy and apathy flowing through her. She nodded her head to acknowledge what he said but did not watch this, instead electing to walk about the room straightening things up. "I hope that goes well."

Felix heard all the words from behind his eye shiled, being the book, he mumbled to himself "ew...", and the spoke out loudly "Ziven, what were dragons like where you came from?"

She turned to Felix and smiled brightly. "Proud, wonderful creatures they are. Would you care to meet one?" she asked brightly, wandering over to his side again. "My father and Bjartskular are here, I am sure they would love company."
