I noticed you changed your signature, it is making me drool all over the keyboard right now. It's Ben Barnes right? He played Dunstan in Stardust and OH MY! He is going to be in Narnia!! *flips out*
*laughs* I also want to be a writer, JK what have you done to us? I was working on a story in my Christmas holidays and had gotten really far, but then my school computers wiped my USB. I would also like to be a police officer or a nurse. But of course writing on the side, and then if any novels of mine make enough (that will be the day) I will retire from my job and just write.

Thank you, orange, but I've gotten over it by now. Now my dream is to become an Egyptologist, a person who studies Ancient Egypt. I always found that ancient civilization to be fascinating and wonderful. *Deep sigh* I'm actually going to travel to Egypt this summer and see mummies for the first time! biggrin
Speaking of the signature, I've never actually seen that guy before. Then again, I've never seen Stardust before. :p

That is really cool, wow, you're just like the Weasleys XD I used to be obsessed with Egypt, it's all very fascinating. I remember when I was in year 3 and 4, I had this learning game that had an Egyptian theme, I pretty much played it everyday.

Thanks, Ghoul! biggrin I'll report back if I meet up with some 'zombiefied' mummies. *Laugh* Do you by any chance remember the name of that game? Not surprisingly, I also like games with a plot revolving around Egypt, especially if I learn something from playing them.
Another reason to love those Weasleys. heart

I am glad that you found another dream to go after. I really want (at least I think) to be a special education teacher and to possibly live in England. I'm not a terrorist or anything, I just don't really like living in the US and England just looks so AMAZING!!!! I also want to maybe be a writer on the side, i am currently working on my own story but i am going through a terrible writer block so I am stuck on Chapter 6.
I also think Egypt is really cool to learn about. I went through the Egyptian exhibit at the Field Museum of Natural History and it was really cool. I didn't have time to look at everything because we only had about 1 hr. to make it through the whole Museum. Yuudai, have you ever been there?? If you haven't I would suggest it because I bet you would like it a lot!! That is, if it a permanent exhibit which it might now be.

I'd love to live in England. It is such a shame that I have, after ten years of much studying, learned another language, but I've never actually used it in real life. It's about darn time I travel to an English speaking country! I do understand your feeling though. I've had a writer's block for about two years now. Comfort yourself that Henry Roth's writer's block lasted for about 40-50 years... I doubt we will have one for that long! surprised I've never actually visited a museum before. We don't have many museums revolving around Egypt where I live, and I haven't traveled much in my life so I've never had the chance until now. I can barely wait to see the mummies of my two favorite Pharaohs Hatshepsut and Ramesses II! heart

Welcome to Hufflepuff, miss_purikura! We are very happy to have you here! biggrin
To gerp: I have learned English and I am currently learning German and Spanish. When I get older, I'm definitively going to learn Arabic and how to write with ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. No shocker there. *Laugh*
To orange: Good point! Well, Muriel annoyed me, but other than her I can't say there are any Weasley that rub me the wrong way.

And an extra cookie for thinking he is delicious? Welcome miss_purikura, have fun here in the house of Puff. At Gerp - I know (knew) Japanese. Very well actually, but in year 10 I started to fizzle, and then all the knowledge left me.

Looking back, knowing you gave it your all..... Yuudai, what language do you normally speak?? Just curious, I assumed that everyone here spoke English as their first language. And I would LOVE to live with the Weasley's. I have always wanted to try some of Molly's home cookin'!
Now for something Harry Potter related. Does anyone know what their wand would be?
Mine would be: Maple, Runespoor Fang, 13 and 1/4 inches.....win or lose, you finish a champion

My mothertongue is actually Norwegian of all things. If anyone here know who Kitsune no Zetsumei is, a fellow Ravenclaw student here at the Haven, then you should know she's my real life friend. smile
And I agree. I'd love to live with them as well, the only problem would be space seeing as they have many children. Hope the Burrow have more than one bathroom then!
I'm not sure what my wand would be though. I need to think a little about that one.

Woah, busy week. Haven't come on in a while. I hope everyone is well!
Anyway, skimming through the few pages I missed, I saw talk of Twilight and future jobs?
1: TEAM EDWARD. ALL. THE. WAY! Always. I love Jake as a character and I feel really bad for him, but I am forevermore Team Edward. And I, for one, am not too happy with Rob being Edward. He's...good-looking, I suppose, but extremely far from what I pictured Edward as ):. I'm glad I read the series first, because now I can preserve my own visual of Edward in my mind xD. I've read all three books countless times. One of my favorite series, second only to HP. I hope the movie isn't a huge disappointment! Alice and James are the only two cast that I truly love. [By the way, I felt I oughta mention that I have a mountain lion stuffed animal, and I very appropriately named him Edward. <3]
2: Haha, oddly enough, writing is my passion too. I love writing stories, if I'm really inspired. In the future, I'd like to write, obviously, but I also like the idea of traveling around the world or maybe working with different languages! (:
Oh, and welcome to our new Hufflepuff! xD
P.S. Love the Egyptian Weasley image. The twins look awesome! Haha.
