Matty grinned, scruffing the pup's fur again, highly amused. "Taking it with dignity and a grain of salt, huh Ms Jackson?~" Man, the guy was on cloud nine right now. Between getting himself quite the cute new roommate and their precious little pooch! Then there was their dinner date at the new to him place. This was actually shaping up to be a pretty great start to his life in the Below!
His amusement continued as Ryker went in stride right along side his weird little claiming of sorts. Was that what he was doing? Maybe.... Ryker was super fun and damn cute. He'd be a fool not to try, right? Grinning, Matty kissed Ms Jackson's nose before righting himself once again. "You know, us Goblins have huge families on a normal basis. What do you think about big families?... And what's our place like?" because he just realized he had no idea what kind of place he got himself into!

After trying and failing a good few games, Exodus was decidedly done with them. They had proven nothing more than frustrating to the Demon. He was normally very skilled in everything he did, but somehow these games were managing to get the better of him and if was quite frustrating for the poor fellow. Gathering up what was left of his dignity, what between wet butt from sitting in the snow like a dumb and utter failure in winning simple carnival games, Exodus took to having another cup of coffee. Thank the gods for this delicious brew of blessings. It was certainly a sanity savior!
Valerian shook his head fervently when his sister questioned him about his roommate's truthfulness. Viveka had really come to the academy with nothing but the clothes on his back and his name, honest to Nine, and that was what scared Valerian. How could someone with a family get enrolled at school with nothing? His lips puckered again and his gaze panned across the festival. "Wait, I think that's him over there!" He shouted, pointing to Viveka across the way. "You can ask him yourself, Dahlia!"
He hopped off of the bench and waved to Viveka.
"Hey! Viveka! Come here!" He called. "My sister wants to talk to you!"
Dahlia still couldn't believe Valerian's story, no matter how many times he repeated it. There was just no way in all of Below that a parent could forget to give their child stuff. Her daddies didn't do that, neither did Valerian's mommy, so it was only logical to say that all parents didn't do that either! This Viveka character had to be lying, there was no way any of it was true! She folded her arms.
"They don't look too happy, Valerian. Maybe they want to be alone." She said, her voice slightly bitter. "Did you leave them at the dorm or something? They're probably upset about that and trying to avoid you."
Viveka was still trapped in his own thoughts when Valerian started calling to him. Was that part of his thoughts or was that really his roommate screaming for him? He turned his head this way and that before finally locking eyes with the pink and blue waving figure in the distance. Oh, good, it was him! What did he want? The Nixie drifted closer, only to notice Dahlia pouting on the bench behind the hybrid boy. ... She didn't look very nice. Maybe he shouldn't come over and leave them alone? "Uh... Hi, Val!" He chirped, pulling at his sweater nervously. "... H-hi Valerian's sister, nice to meet you! I'm Viveka!"
Thomas, to nobody's surprise, wasn't enjoying his new found job as a drink vendor. He'd gone through at least thirty something odd orders so far and they only seemed to keep coming. Why did people have to be thirsty and want several different drinks at a time? Didn't they know he had a life, too? People were so inconsiderate! He tapped his foot and tried to keep from grimacing as another child hopped up to the counter with a gaggle of their friends behind them.
"What would you like now?" He asked, flashing a worried glance to the woman behind him. He'd gotten a few stiff nudges from her and he was hoping to avoid more in the future. "... Hot chocolate? Okay, just a minute."
Theodora couldn't exactly explain her feelings about the scene unfolding in front of her, but they were definitely something between shocked and greatly amused. She'd been running with Duma straight toward the front of the festival when, suddenly, her companion had started shrieking. When she turned to look at what he was griping about, the poor man started running about, a Kidden nipping at his heels.
"Duma, can you try and catch them? Maybe pick them up with your tail?" She shouted, shuffling quickly after the man. "Let me help you, I think we can corner them somewhere over by the booths!"
Duma, in all of his furry glory, was more than thankful to have Theodora helping him out at this exact moment. This Kidden obviously thought his tail was some sort of treat and wanted to take a good chunk of his fur out! He wouldn't allow that to happen, but out running this tiny green creature seemed to be impossible! When would it get bored and take a rest? He was running out of steam!
He followed Theodora's advice and lead it back toward the booths where the space was tighter. This made it harder for him to escape the nips from the mouth of the Kidden, but it did make it easier for him to wrap his tail beneath it's stomach. After a few attempts, the Kidden was off of the ground and in Duma's arms. "Well, I think I've made a friend?" He chuckled, giving Theodora a sheepish look. "... I think this little dude needs food to distract him from nibbling on my hair. Let's make sure to grab some feed on the way back."

Decran grinned as he eyed the bracelets in front of him. A silver and purple one stood out to him as he looked them over. Grabbing it, he moved off to pay for it, intent on giving it to Zephyr as a gift.
Syra
The bright, sparkling glow caught Syra’s attention first. When she turned to face the booth in question, her mouth opened and her eyes widened. Rows and rows of necklaces, shaped like light bulbs, were enchanted with some sort of magic. She just had to have one. Syra quickly moved into the booth, picked herself one out and slipped it on before even moving off to pay for it.
Finnley
Finnley grinned as they stopped at a game booth. This one involved a gun and shooting water. He stepped up, paid, and took his position. As per his luck, Finnley won on the first go and picked out a pretty snow globe. He glanced to Jocey, eyebrow raised. “Gonna try?”
Jocey
Jocey pursed her lips, knowing that she wouldn’t be good at the game but couldn’t pass it up — only because Finnley had already asked her if she would (couldn’t chicken out now). She stepped up, paid and took her place. She whined when the game ended and she came out without a prize. Huffing, she paid for a second, third and fourth game and finally came out the victor on the fourth go. She, too, picked out a nice snowglobe as her prize.
Ishy
After the couple of presents some of her kids gave her, in passing, Ishy couldn’t pass up the opportunity to snag a bag of peppermint candies. She would take those, and something else she picked up, back to her classroom when classes started back up, and sit them out in a bowl for her students to snack on throughout the day.
Tyas
Tyas moved off to a booth stacked with books. She’d seen a few of them on her way through the festival but hadn’t decided to check one out until that moment. Her eyes quickly found one of the books she’d been wanting to read, for a while, and she snatched it up and paid for it.
Vivian
Vivian moved deeper into the booth, smiling as the soft glow of enchanted necklaces came into sight. She couldn’t resist gathering up brightly glowing blue one and slipping it on as she moved off to pay for it.
Emine
Emine tugged on her caretaker’s hand as they headed out of the sweets booth. Displayed at the end of the table were a bunch of lollipops and Emine asked if she could have one. “For papa,” she said at her caretaker’s raised eyebrow. After being told she could, the booth manager wrapped the lolli up and handed it over.
Ms, Jackson woofed and wiggled his tail when Matty petted him. He seemed to be pretty happy with his new 'daddies.' Ryker smiled as he held their new puppy, who was still trying to sing along with the solstice music. The grimm was more interested in watching his new roomie, though. He was awfully cute, and a lot of fun so far. They seemed to get along fairly well, and apparently Ryker had already been claimed by the goblin. Which...he was totally cool with.
He almost missed what Matty said as he was lost in his thoughts or a moment. Big families, huh? Ryker smiled, the pale part of his cheeks glowing a little pinker. He had always imagined that if he ever had a pack, it would be made up of grimms. Now? He was thinking a pack didn't have to be purely one race. "I always wanted a big family," he confessed. "And our current place....definitely not big enough to support a big family. Big enough for us and a few familiars, though," he grinned.

Right! Time to go find her friend again. She did it once, she could totally do it again! She was Bibiana, super friend finder!! Giggling to herself, Bibi looked around for the other geist again. And somehow managing to snag herself another bracelet in the process. She was getting quite the collection! And they were all so pretty~ She didn't care one bit that half of them did not really mesh with her pink coloring.
Just before she reached Cyril again, she got snagged to fill out a game. They need four players but only have three. She happily complied and ended up getting second place, earning her yet another plushie for her collection. After, when she reached Cyril again, she hooked her arm in his so she wouldn't get separated from him again. "There you are!" she said.
The electrically colored hybrid grinned at the collection he was slowly gathering. So far he had two of those necklaces slipped around his neck and they glowed prettily against his black shirt. Now if only the party would suddenly turn into a rave... He laughed at the thought and grinned. It had been a long time since he'd just let loose and danced. He needed another night like that soon. Maybe he'd see if he could talk Cora into having a dance night. He missed hanging out with her. Right! He was determined to make some time to spend with his closest friend.
Next to the jewelry stall was another hot chocolate stand. This time Cyril was careful that the hot chocolate, and mug, he bought was actually hot chocolate before he walked away. A small blue wisp trailed after him as he did, unseen by him or the cockatriels. The small sip he warily took was much better this time around. Cyril smiled and thought that Bibiana had been right when she said she should try again later.
As if his thinking had summoned her, Cyril felt something tug on his arm. Unfortunately it was the wrong arm and he managed to spill half of his drink. To his immense gratitude, he did not spill it on himself, or on the beaming pink geist who had grabbed him. “Bibi!” he replied, pleased and startled. “Thank the nine I didn’t spill it on you!” The sincerity of his tone couldn’t be denied.

Bam, got all the things ever filled out. Cyril now has two cockatriels riding around on his head and his face is pretty scratched up. I know there's a couple posts between this one and the one you quoted me in. if you wanted to fill them out or whatever, feel free and I can adjust this one to match it. c: ps, sorry I completely dropped the ball on replying for so long orz
A quick game won him a snow globe. Ares wasn’t didn’t feel strongly about it one way or another, but it would be a nice gift for one of his friends. Or it could even be a souvenir after he graduated, which would be very soon.

Not far from the last game she had played, a librarian was set up and giving out books. Curious, Jeanine wandered over. She chatted a bit with the older nightmare, accepting a book when it was offered to her. Giving the cover a glance, she thought she’d heard something about this book, but couldn’t put her finger on it. Ah well, she’d remember about it eventually. Dismissing it, she slid “Daylight” into her stocking and resumed her conversation with the librarian.

Maeva brushed dust and sugar off her apron as she backed away from the counter. She’d been helping out at one of the stalls, making and giving out candy floss, since the festival had begun but the older demon in charge was practically making her go enjoy what was left of the festival. There wasn’t much more she could do but nod and go. On her way out into the festival at large, she snagged an orange and yellow stocking, delighted to find a cute bracelet inside already.
"I'm so glad this booth hasn't run out of these little bulbs! I think I lost my pink one from earlier," the imp said with a pout as she picked up another one of the pendants, a smile curling on her lips. "These are just so cute. Don't you agree, Alis?

"Huh? Oh. Yeah. Cute, Miah," the baphomet muttered, a smile curling on their lips a moment later as they toyed with the arms to the next plushie they had gotten. Oh, the addiction was real.
...But, the plushies were in preparation for the kids! So obviously it was okay! ...Right?
