When he looked at her, she felt a little uneasy as he seemed to be studying her. She made no move as he did this, wondering if he would finally speak after observing her from a distance. Though she was sitting, it was easy to tell that she was taller than most females, fair skin, the only unusual trait of her was her green curls, otherwise clearly female.
She bobbed her head to him. "At this time, I will assume you wish to rest, I will leave you at peace." she said softly. Turning again, she resumed facing the bar. What more could she do? If he wanted to be left alone, she would grant him such.
Another great stretch, as sleep had still not fully left her system. To help her wake more, she conjured a cup of tea to drink to help wake her further.

"Whiskey.........." Was all Josef said to her as he looked up at her from his previous position. His voice was more of like an order, holding back what seemed to be a growl as the hand pulled a knife out. Instead of aiming it at her, he ran the sharp edge along his skin, taking off the hairs growing on his face and the using the heat of his cigar to burn the rest off.

Arching a brow, she turned to him again. Seeing the knife, she tilted her head, curious as to what he was doing, waiting a moment until he started to use it. A hint of a smile played at the corners of her lips and she nodded her head. The next instant, a glass of whiskey rested on the table before him. She again nodded her head and turned back to her tea.

The knife produced small nicks in the skin, the cigar made a few burns. It didn't matter to the soldier as he put the knife away and downed the whiskey, resuming his smoking. Soon, his ksin merely regenerated, and kept a smooth, soft yet strong apperance, leaving no marks behind either.

Hearing the cup tap on the table, she turned to spy on the stranger. Immediately she noticed that he had cut himself several times. A look of concern wore on her face for a moment before the cuts seemed to start to heal over. Tilting her head, she walked over to his table, leaning over slightly and stared at his face. The idea of self healing at such an accelerated rater intrigued her. Since he did not seem to be much of a talker, she did not bother asking any questions, simply watched as the wounds, in fact, healed over and no traces of any cuts were to be seen. No wonder he had no issue with using a knife and cigar to shave as he did not need to worry about injury. "Curious." she said softly before returning to her seat at the bar.

Getting up, he took his glass with him towards the bar and looked down at her. While sitting, he wasn't very tall. While standing, he was only about 6'3. Setting the glass on the counter, he went to the back and grabbed a few bottles of Whiskey, Bacardi Rum, and was in search for moonshine. Normal whiskey was just gargle water to him. He wanted alcohol.

Blue eyes settled on the man as he rounded the bar. Now standing just a few feet away from her, she realized he was taller than she expected, though for a male around these parts, he was of average height.
Tilting her head again, she watched as he shuffled around the bar, searching for something. "Searching for something specific?" she asked, again offering her knowledge or assistance if her were interested, but was not expecting any answer or reaction to her question.

Arching a brow, she realized he had a distinctive accent, though she was unsure where it was from. She watched as he returned to his seat and tried talking with him again. "Many in this place value a good moonshine. Rest assured you will be able to find a variety of that drink here any time you desire." she offered up with a smile. Unfamiliar with the phrase he used, she tried asking him; "What do you mean by 'no more gargle water'?"

He figured his German accent was a give away, but she didn't pick it up. "Back home....whiskey alone is gargle vater to us." He looked up at her from under his cap and stared at Ziven. "Tell me, vere the ******** am I?"

"Dragons nest Inn of the Red Dragon Syndicate." she answered immediately, rather surprised that he actually replied and went so far as to ask a question back. Tilting her head slightly, she remained silent in case her answer was not enough to satisfy him.

"......" Red Dragon Syndicate? He only heard bad things about this pace from a few of the Juden scum that he interogatted during the Chrystalnacht...And the rumours only got worse. "So zis is as close to hell as ve get, isn't it?...." Now Josef felt his supressed rage wanting out, to howl at the moon and rend and tear like he did years ago in the battlefield. And this place was lik ean eternal battlefield...a paradise to someone like him. But there was no order, no stability....and he didn't have the power to impose it either. "......."

Sensing something was bothering him, she stood again to face him. When he spoke, she realized he was upset on some level. She nodded her head to his question. "In a way, yes."

"Sesuke-ona!" she said brightly. Bounding over to him, she gave him a warm hug. Since he seemed to be in a serious mood, she hoped to make sure he was cheerful, if even for a moment. "It is good to see you, Seisuke-ona. Are you well?" she asked, looking at him brightly, her eyes curious and her smile shy but happy.
