Peri had actually met Talya before--at Haunted Hallows. And it looked like she was just as sensitive about her third eye as she was back then. She didn't seem to have recognized him this time. Good. He didn't want drama. He wandered over to the box of rejected trinkets and fished out some orange candy canes. Delicious. Now to go back to watching the squabbling over plushies.
Teo wished he could comfort the girl, but he wasn't sure how. Besides, Evelyn seemed to be doing a good job of it right now. He instead joined Perigor, keeping away from the frenzy at the boxes. Peri handed him a bundle of candy canes, which he put away. "After this, we should find my mom. I'm getting kind of tired."
Oh thank goodness. Xeno liked Corben...a weight lifted off his chest. Good...Dinner wouldn't be too awkward, then! He squeezed Xeno's hand and continued to walk along.
Someone tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey, you look festive," they said. "You don't have a headband yet, though!"
Jurvik nodded. "No, I don't. Are you going to give me one?"
The person--a vendor--nodded. "Black, green, purple, blue, or brown?"
Jurvik pointed to his bell earrings. "Something to match these, please."
The vendor nodded. "Right you are!" and handed him a pair of black and silver reindeer antlers. "Happy Solstice!"

Ryker snorted as he heard laughter. Yeah....he totally looked ridiculous, he just knew it. And when the other guy confirmed it, the Grimm just laughed. "I make ridiculous look good, man, you just don't know," he said with a smirk. He waited to turn until he was told the bug was gone and peered at the bug in the goblin's hands. "Dude, what is that? I don't think I've seen one of those before." At the comment on his boa he laughed and flung the one end around his neck. "Right? I look awesome," he said and struck a pose, hands on his hips. He managed the serious model look for about....five second before laughing at the antlers. "You definitely out-fabu me with those, dude," he grinned and held a clawed hand out to him. "I'm Ryker." This was his first encounter with one of those Daydreams from Above, and so far, so good. This guy was pretty chill. And speaking of chill... He grinned and snagged himself a bucket labelled 'Indoor Snowball Fight.'

She meant to go on looking for her friend Cyril, really she did. But the jewelry on the table was just so pretty! She couldn't stop looking at all the different kinds. She already had a pair of earrings, but some of the colors were tempting. Maybe she could get another pair... But it was the snowflake bracelets that caught her eye the most. She just couldn't decide between the black one....or the blue one. Oh! She wished she hadn't lost track of Cyril! Maybe he could have helped her choose. In the end, she shut her eyes and picked one at random.

Drayden meandered through the booths, looking for something to send home to his dad. He'd been curious about what the schools looked like, as his father was an architect, and Drayden had been meaning to take lots of pictures of Asterion at the very least but he hadn't made it out to visit the rest of the schools just yet. So when he found a snowglobe with a miniature Asphodel Academy it was perfect! He bought it and slipped it into his stocking for later.

Thinking about her sister made Zeta a little more susceptible to the holiday spirit, she supposed. She finally caved and tried one of the games. This one was a ring toss, and she managed four out of five rings. She smiled a little as she was handed a plush cat. This one had another bracelet attached to it. Her sister would like the cat, and maybe her mom would like the bracelet. Her dad would be much harder to shop for. She sighed at that thought and shoved her new presents into her stocking.
Time passed slowly for the mutant girl standing by the shiny necklace stand, time that could've been spent getting plushies and eating candies. Where did that mutant man go? Was he only a figment of her imagination? She frowned at the thought. Hopefully not, it was hard to find a mutant so similar to her! They had a lot of eyes and she had three! They could've been related for all she knew! ... Okay, maybe not related, but maybe friends? Her lips puckered. ... Could adults and kids be friends? That seemed a little funny... "Whoa! My sweater isn't food, you silly Kidden!" She cried, waving a claw toward the red colored animal nibbling on her sleeve. "You can have one of my candies if you stop chewing, though! I won't let you stay hungry!"
Milo hadn't realized that something had been residing within his new feather boa, or that it had moved to roost upon his head until long after it had. He'd reached up to smooth his hair out of his eyes when he touched something fuzzy and gently plucked the little bug from his head, but didn't really make the correlation until it decided to settle on his nose. What a silly little bug! He'd never seen anything like it before! Was it from Above?
"Hello buggy-wuggy! I'm Milo!" He chirped, patting the bug softly. "You must think everything is so different than Above, huh? Trust me, you'll find lots of things to do here in Below! New friends, new foods, new sights. You'll love it here!"
Well, on her way to the cafeteria from the peppermint bark stand, Melanie found yet another thing to thwart her plans. Candy canes. Why did she have to have such an affinity for sweets? They weren't good for her health! The Goblin pouted and stuck her neck out. There would be no more sweets until she had some proper food at the cafeteria, and that was that! She had to avoid all temptations until she achieved that goal, which she knew she could do! She had the willpower of a solider, she was strong, no candy would be allowed to break her focus!
Well, since the book booth was close to the plant stand, London found his stamina against picking up another tiny plant weaken severely. He did try to avoid it for a minute, maybe, but his efforts crumbled like sand when he saw the one painted like it had strings of lights wrapped around it. He beamed toward it as if it were the holy grail and examined it like a precious child. This one was so cute, and hopefully the last one he'd be picking out for the night!
"It's just so hard to stay away from cute things like you!" He whined, puckering his lips. "Auuuugh, I'm hopeless, shamelessly and utterly hopeless! Where am I going to put all of you? I haven't even thought of that!"
Zephyr had eaten the candy floss he'd won so quickly that he'd almost forgotten that he'd won it at all. That left him with a few questions. Did he want to go back to that same booth and see if he couldn't win another prize, or did he want to see what else was around for him to do first? He puckered his lips and paced around a bit, unsure of what decision to make, before turning for the sweet smell of candy floss up ahead. There was obviously more of that sugary stuff over here, he didn't need to keep playing games for it. It wasn't like he needed another ten plushies, either.
"One of the blue ones, please." He said, pointing to his choice as he approached the booth. "Thanks!"
Valerian couldn't believe that Dahlia knew about the time he put bubble gum in that boy's notebook. How did she catch him? Was she some sort of spy sister that was trained to find out every little secret that her younger siblings hide? Not even the kid himself knew that he'd done that and yet, his bossy older sister could recall everything like she was some sort of camera! He puffed out his cheeks and looked away from Dahlia. Hopefully she didn't know about all the other mean stuff he'd done!
"Hey, there are more plushies over there! Can we go try and win one?" He asked, his voice as sweet as possible. "Please, Dahlia?"
Dahlia could feel just how upset Valerian was that she knew about all his little pranks. Of course, she wouldn't tell him that she knew about all of them until she absolutely needed to, like when she needed him to listen to her without any back talk. It still made her feel kind of bad, because she was making him upset, but she figured that it was for his own good anyway. After all, maybe if he knew that he was being watched, he wouldn't pull so many naughty pranks in the future. "Will you stop begging me like that? Of course we can." She sighed, rolling her eyes. "Come on, let's go play before the crowd gets too big."
Of course she didn't win a plushie like she wanted, but she did win herself some cute earrings. Valerian won a plushie with his throw and seemed to actually be enjoying the game. Hopefully he'd stay in a good mood for the rest of the day...
Sorry guys! I've been way too busy! If you don't feel up to continuing, Parodia is totally good with leaving.
The cold was really distracting Pardodia. This whole festival was like a blur to her after reaching her friends. She had a new familiar (which she was really fond of) and she made another litch friend? Ustule didn't seem too bad... However, Parodia was not fond of how close she seemed to Promme. She trotted along behind her friends quietly, holding the tiny chompy bird inside her coat gently to keep in warm. She didn't participate in any of the games her friends did, too focused on her new bird to care. Everytime they would glance back at her and gesture to their latest game endeavor she would just smile and shake her head no, indicating her bird subtly. Maybe her caretaker would know what she needed to take care of the chompy thing. If not, Perigor had a few and they could take care of them together.
The mood was dimming, Ustule's sadness really put a damper on the festival spirit. Parodia didn't mind too much. It was getting colder and she was a-okay with going inside. She looked to Peri, Teo and Promme, offering an apologetic smile. "Sorry I have been so... inactive. Cactus here needs a lot of attention. Do you think Ustule ran away with how much I seemed to ignore her?" Cactus let out a small trill and rubbed up into Parodia's scarf. She smiled and rubbed the small bird's head. A senior passing by spotted Cactus in her jacket and dropped a bag of peppermint bark in her stocking.

Eveilyn had her book under her arm and was petting her new little fluffbug trying to figure out what to name it. Jasper sounded cute but she didn't think it quite fit the little thing. Come to think of it she wasn't really sure if it was a male or a female. She knew about some creatures thanks to class but this one from above was a mystery to her. She grabbed another book to look like she was doing something then she wandered away from the book stand and ended up winning a little plush from a game that involved tossing those little cold cotton balls at a target.
Krol smiled looking over her little plush thinking that it was pretty cute and she might just have to place it on her bed as a decoration. So what if it was a little cutesty for a university student. She liked it quite a lot. Walking by a booth that had earing bells she snagged a pair of silver ones thinking they were cute and she could always put them on her cloths if need be since her fins tended to be a bit sensitive to weights on them. This festival was pretty nice and a part of her wished she was here at the academy if things like this were going but well she was a tad old to try and pass her self off as a senior though the thought of trying it at least once really did amuse her.

Her feet were beginning to ache, forcing Miah to take a break from the festivities in favor of sitting off to the side, returning to munching on a few of the various snacks she had accumulated--which was quite a few. A smile seemed to be perpetually glued to the girl's lips by that point, soft giggles occasionally escaping her as she watched the festivities around her, enjoying the sight of Freshlings playing and familiars prancing about, making friends with the students while inadvertantly finding themselves homes.
She almost hadn't noticed the librarian once again passing by with another stack of books in hand, the sight of which had Miah giggling softly.
"Heyy! Over here!" she called, waving the demon over. "How about I take another one of those, or maybe a few? I'll give them to my roommates, or just save them for a rainy day,"
