40K FUNNIES GUILD WIDE CONTEST!!!

Ladies and Gents I've decided to get into the spirit of the Guild's 5th Anniversary and so will be holding a contest of my very own!

Here's how it works:

Starting today, you have until September 22nd (2009 of course) to think up your very own 40K Funny and PM it to myself. It should be in the spirit of your own army / character and in good taste!

Things to keep in mind:

1. PG 13 is a must.
2. Bashing GW is prohibited, we respect those who create our games!
3. Bashing other 40K Races should only be done in the POV of your army.
4. 1 to 6 panels preferred but can be stretched to 8 if absolutely required.
5. If you have a certain colour scheme/look to your character(s) you should describe it in detail or provide a photograph of the miniature. Other wise the characters will be designed as I see fit for the comic.

Once you've done this, PM me your 40K Funny idea. On September 23rd I'll post up all the entries and give everyone a chance to vote on their favourite.

On September 27th voting will end and a winner announced.

The winner gets to see their characters in 40K Funnies AND of course get credited as the creative mind behind that comic!

So get playing the game, work on those Funnies and good luck! mrgreen

Note: Should a draw take place, in proper 40K style the Dice Gods shall be asked to break the tie by the roll of a D6. Both will of course get a comic but the tie breaker will receive theirs' first.

Awh feck... Comming up with an idea... How the heck would I be able to do that? Nothing fun ever happens to my orks nor do I have a sense of humour... Only serious stuff happens to my ladz... = 3=;;; No comical situations ever happen during game...

Too bad it's 40k only... My other boyz surely would have managed to come with a great story. xD

For those who may not know, ages ago during the first season of the Pokemon cartoon that stupid pink balloon of a Pokemon would get pissed off when people fell asleep to its singing and so would go around scribbling on their faces with a black marker.

Well I got to thinking... this is why the Necrons are so mad at the universe. ^_^
