Hello. I'm Arafel, 17 years old (Turning 18 in may2006) I'm a senior in both highschool and college, about to get my AA degree in psychology. :B Possibly going into child-psychology/play therapy. As hobbies I generally sit around gaia or draw.
I have no kids nor am I pregnent. Though I'm dieing to have my own kids, I felt the urge to wait until I get my life settled first. I'd hate to drag a kid into my teen-angst just because of maturnal instincts. XD
However, most of my cousins(hick town, yipes. XD) have children, and when I visit they're often shoved off on me. Sometimes they don't even ask. XD I also do volunteer work at our local church watching children in the wee hours of the morning. I also do babysitting, ectect. So I end up around alot of children without having my own. X3
I have a boyfriend, we've been together for 2 years and counting. Eventually I'll force him into the wonderful chains.. er. joys of commitment and bear his children. >:B Mwuhaha.
Aaand. I joined this guild for a few reasons. One, i figured it could definatly help with watching others kids. I allready have a few questions. Two, I want to learn whatever I can before I have children. Try and give them some chance of surviving me. XD And three, offer up advice if i happen to have any. Or just generally participate in conversations and the like.
I think that about covers it. X3 heart

Hi! smile I joined the guild a while ago, but I haven't got around to posting in a while, there was a lot of stuff going on over here with children, outbreaks at the daycare, and my job(s). smile
I'm Kim. I've had 4 girls, though I have custody of 2, my youngest two. I had my first when I was 17, and my second about 10 or 11 months later. She was placed for adoption for her safety (her father was a known child/spouse abuser - to everyone but me, until after I was pregnant). I got together with a good man, had my third, we married, had my 4th, and we separated. It's for the better. He comes over to seee the kids once a week. All together, Chelsea's 8, Nicol's 7, Ceightlynn's 5 and Brianna's 2.
I got my tubes tied last October, my body can't handle another pregnancy. That's been rough, because I want one more, but I can't. Each pregnancy was doing more and more damage to my body, and it really can't take it anymore. sad So now I'm waiting for my kids to grow up and give me grand-babies to spoil. wink

Hello! My Gaianame is Copperforest.
I'm a stay-at-home mom (for right now) of a bright, quiet, and direct 4 year old. Kindergarten is just around the corner, so this spring has been about learning 'bout the schools in our district, curriculum, etc... and refreshing some of them job skills.
My hobbies include photography and creating digital collages of those photos... and as you can imagine my daughter has been my primary model! I also enjoy hiking in the mountains, camping, and baking goodies from scratch.
Gaia is my 'baptism' into fantasy, anime, etc, and I like it! I'm 42, live near Reno, NV, and am married to an amazingly good man for almost 7 years.
I'm looking forward to making friends here and enjoying more grown-up talk.

Right, well the first two pages were making me think there wasn't gonna be many young parents, but halfway through page two that changed.
Well, on here my name is Kyra, which in real life is my daughters name. Mine is Liz, and I'm 17, 18 on aug 2nd '06. Kyra is just over 13 months old now, has teeth which she knows how to use, can just about walk, and tries to put things down the toilet since she learnt how to get down the kitchen step smile
Education wise, I dropped out of school in my last year (I live in England, so I would've left when I was 15/almost 16) My reasons are ones I don't go into very often. I tried college, but the reason I had to quit that was I fell pregnant with Kyra. Due date and final exam dates were too close to eachother. I took an Entry to Employment (E2E) course during my pregnancy, which has helped get me some qualifications, and I recently took up a short computer course. Waiting for the results though.
I do stay at home looking after Kyra, but I am looking for work so I can earn my money for my driving lessons. As far as I know I'm not pregnant again, but I want another one in a couple of years time (like when Kyra is sleeping fully, is in full or most time school and I've had the chance to experience a decent nights sleep again) smile

I'm brand new to this guild. Oddly enough, my daughter found you guys and told me about the guild.
About me ... I'm 47.5 (eldest in the guild?). I'm single (have been for too long). I have two children, Trevor, 23, and Felicia, 12. We're in our 11th or 12th year of home education ... but my son has been out on his own for a couple of years now. We see him almost everuday as he 'borrows' my car to go to work.
I'm a SAHM, but work where I live - I'm an Assistant Building Manager. Hobbies? Gaia, cycling, swimming, hiking, reading, embroidery, drawing (mostly pen and ink forest scenes - I love detail!). I also sell PartyLite Candles, and Melaleuca.
Feel free to ask questions ...

Hi! I will be half a cetury old this November and have been married since 1978 to a computer programmer who is not on Gaia. I am on Gaia because of my daughter and son-in-law. My hobbies are knitting, chrocheting, gardening, reading, piano, children, husband, mother (who is 80 this coming year and lives with us) and now GRANDCHILDREN heart !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have 3 daughters and 2 sons. By the way, I am one of THOSE grandmothers who believe they have the cutest grandchildren in the world. I have 2 granddaughters - one is 3 years and one 5 months and one step-grandson who is 7 and I have not met yet - he lives on the other side of the U S. I am working on getting to meet him. My full time job has been mother, daughter, wife, and grandmother for most of my life. I was one of those postal workers (window/distibution clerk) and now appreciate the term "going postal" after the routine 62 to 78 work weeks I witnessed while working there.
