"Yep! And the best part is when the night sky clears up, I get the best view of the stars! They're like shining bits of candy in the sky!" Alucard raised his hands in the air, then his stomach growled, "Oh...yah...food...I should get some later...after I get something to drink. Teehehe!"

Loralei sighed, and leaned back against the well. She looked back at Alucard and smiled, listening to his stomach rumble. "If you're hungry, I'm sure I can spare some food for you..."

It took Alucard a few seconds to realize that what Loralei was leaning on was a well. When it hit him, he immediately rushed to it and filled the bucket with water. He drank out of it eagerly. After he felt he was satisfied he looked to Loralei and grinned, "Do you have any cake?"

Loralei smiled. Children are all the same. Dessert is obviously a main course... "Luckily for you, cake just happens to be one of my favorite desserts.... I'd have to make one though... What's your favorite?"

Loralei jumped at the contact, then patted Alucard on the back. She mentally ran through a list of cakes she knew how to make, then decided on her favorite, since he seemed to like strawberry too... "How about Strawberry Shortcake? It's fairly easy and I love strawberries... and whipped cream...." She almost drooled just thinking about it, though it wasn't really her style.

"Sounds yummy!!" Alucard jumped up and ran through the streets. After a short while he came back, "Uh...I guess you should lead the way. I don't know where your place is, heheh."

Loralei smiled, then ruffled Alucard's hair. "Come along, then!" She grabbed Alucard's hand, then began walking the short way towards her home. "Do you want anything else other than cake...? I'm sure that cake as a main course isn't exactly... healthy..."

Alucard blinked, "Oh...well, yah, I know that. Sweet things always seem to make my tummy angry. Actually, most people food makes my tummy angry.."
His eyebrows furrowed somewhat, showing that he seemed to be thinking about something. Then he looked up, "I'll go catch a rabbit or two after the cake. Sweets first! Wee!"
He almost skipped with glee.

"People... food?" Loralei looked at the little boy questioningly. "Alucard... is there something you should tell me?" She was honestly very confused... which did not happen often. Wait... don't tell me...
Loralei looked at the little boy beside her, almost skipping with glee when it came to candy. Could he be... a vampire?
