The previous night ended on a pretty good note. Sato's homework and chores got finished just in time for dinner, although Cashew chose not to stay after Mr. Hiraihoshi's reaction earlier that day. The mouse decided to sleep inside of a bush in the Academy, so he and Sato could meet up there in the morning for class. He woke up to a mysterious, feminine figure sneaking through the Academy doors early in the morning. Only to find out after further investigation it was his teacher, Akina-sensei. As someone who was strict on her students for making it to class in a timely manner, it only made sense for her to arrive far ahead of her class. After sleeping in for another half an hour, Cashew decided he'd go to class early to get some extra studying in. When he entered, Akina-sensei failed to notice him, her attention occupied by a briefcase opened on her desk.
"Good mor--"
"Hm? O-oh dear! What are you... Ah, Cashew. You're early!" She quickly scrambled to slam the briefcase shut and place it under her desk, trying her best to look 'natural' as she straightened her posture, folded her hands across the surface of her desk and smiled sweetly at the mouse.
Cashew eyed the bottom portion of her desk casually, then gazed upon his teacher. Despite his best efforts not to appear as if he was suspicious of her, his left ear twitched. Something was off. "Yes... I wanted to do some more studying out of the scrolls. It's easier to do that when there aren't many students around." Cashew approached Akina-sensei at her desk, feeling her start to tense up as he paused briefly, before whipping out his homework assignment. "The homework is finished, Akina-sensei. Sato will bring his too, when he arrives. We worked together on it." A shaky breath expelled from her lips as she retrieved the paper, giving it a once over. "Ah, y-yes... very good. You are free to use the scrolls for your independent studies, Cashew. Nodding, the mouse went to retrieve the scrolls, noticing Akina-sensei hadn't budged an inch, watching him the entire way. His ears flattened slightly, but he continued on as if nothing seemed odd here, diving straight into the scrolls.
Sounding the Unfamiliar was a Genjutsu technique that relied on the sense of sound. By manipulating one's voice, one could make the target hears several animal calls, among other things. The caster can control where these sounds are heard, such as above the target, behind them, or off into the distance, capable of causing great confusion if the source of the sound can't be located. Thunder Voice Technique, another Genjutsu affecting one's hearing, used to affect the caster's voice. With implementation of chakra combined with the voice of the user, they are able to greatly amplify the sound of which their voice is heard. For such a small mouse like Cashew, this would definitely come in handy in getting his point across about being a mouse. Discharge Technique is a touched-based technique, making use of electricity as part of its illusion. The target of the ability begins to feel tingly, as if they have been subject to a mass amount of static. When they go to touch another object, they will receive a painful jolt of electric static. Supposedly good for distractions at the very least when combined with areas where electricity is available. A simple technique activated through the sense of touch, the Poison Ivy Technique. It makes the target's skin itchy and irritated, begging to be scratch. There aren't many people able to ignore the sensations of poison ivy's effects and thus can prove distracting during times where focus is required.
Static uses a disruptive noise in the immediate area used to distract multiple targets at one time. It makes it quite difficult for them to hear anything outside of that noise, while also being pretty annoying to deal with. Due to the nature of this technique, it's quite effective on targets utilizing communication devices. Depth Distortion relies on the sense of sight, affecting the target's depth perception. The technique makes it difficult for the target to determine the speed of incoming objects among other things, and the location of stationary objects which may seem farther or closer than they realize. As a mouse who plans on taking advantage of his speedy mobility in combat situations, this technique will prove useful. All Directions is a simple technique relying on sound to distort the hearing of the target. Through manipulation of this Genjutsu, the caster can make their voice project from multiple directions, making the target feel as if they are surrounded. If chosen, one could also simply have their voice be projected from a singular direction. Closed Sight, given by its name affects the sight of the target who sees the unique hand gestures required for this technique. It affects their peripheral vision, allowing them to only see what's directly in front of them. This leaves them vulnerable to any attacks to either side, allowing them to be caught unaware.
A unique technique which, while it affects the target's sight, uses a weapon as a catalyst. Through a simple wave of the weapon, the genjutsu is activated, causing the target to see multiple arms waving along with the caster's original. Known as the Tree Leaf-Style Willow, once the target is distracted, they can be easily taken down with the same weapon used to cause the distraction. Demonic Illusion: Descending Hell technique creates the illusion of a massive falling fireball that the target is able to see. Appearing as if its intending to engulf them in the mighty flames, the target is able to feel the intense heat closing in on them. It is enough to frighten targets or wore to those who have a fear of fire, but causes no physical pain or damage as the fireball collides into them. Using sight as the target sense, the Mist Technique utilizes a unique source known as a phantasm for its manipulation. The illusion creates a clone that leaps out and disperses into a mist, fog, or other type of obscuring plume affecting the target's vision. It's not a real clone, but those surrounding the caster are able to see the phantasm as if it were an actual clone that was created. A technique that relies on taste, the Hunger technique. Afflicting a target with this genjutsu gives them the sensation of being hungry. It can be incredibly distracting, especially for those who are particularly weak to genjutsu. The Thirst Technique, is basically the Hunger technique's twin. Causing the same amount of discomfort, only in the form of thirst. Affects the sense of taste in the target just like the previous.
Thunder Trap Seal was a very interesting genjutsu indeed, not only affecting two senses, but also affecting the caster to a degree considering how it works. By priming an area or object, when either are interacted with a loud thundering sound can be heard by anyone interacting with it, while also alerting the caster that someone has tampered with the primed area/object. This specific genjutsu is considered a triggered trap, and affects everyone unlike most genjutsu which specify targets. Tricker's Sandstorm, a very simple technique that causes a sandstorm to pick up in the area. It's most effective for reducing the target's sight, as well as irritating them with sand in their eyes and mouth. The caster can take advantage while the target is preoccupied, but a simply wipe of the eyes is enough to dispel the technique. Through the Unfamiliar affects the user sight in a unique way to their current surroundings. By making the target see the same image over and over, it gives them a sense of deja vu, or that their walking in circles. It is an area of effect genjutsu, thus targeting anyone who enters it perimeters. Mud Slip technique is another trigger trap genjutsu, affecting both the target's sight and sense of touch. Priming an area with this genjutsu is based on a seal, in which anyone who comes into contact with the seal will see mud below their feet causing them to slip and fall. Quite useful for a trap with the intention of delaying a target or a simple distract for a setup.
Another harmless genjutsu that affects the target's sense of touch, the Annoying Dust Technique. This jutsu simply creates the illusion that there is a dust spec in the target's eye, thus causing irritation. It can be quite distracting causing the target to rub at their eye to relieve it, leaving them open. The Urine technique simply makes a target feel as if they really need to use the bathroom. This genjutsu can affect more than one person, thus causing some funny interactions between the target's should there only be one restroom around. Requires concentration when targeting multiple individuals, but this technique is simply for laughs at best. The Rock Technique is another triggered trap genjutsu that affects a specific area. It creates the illusion of a rock protruding out of the ground that the target trips over and falls. Like so many of the others in this list they are instances, happening immediately once the the requirements for activation have been met. Touch of the Unfamiliar is another triggered genjutsu that, instead of relying on a trap, is activated through an object. This genjutsu confuses the target by questioning whether the object they interacted with that has been primed with this technique was real or not. It affects the sense of touch, thus relying the target to use their other four sense to determine real from fake. Another simple genjutsu which can be instanced if the caster chose, is known as the Sound Tehnique. It grants the user the ability to cause their target to hear random sounds. This technique grants a lot of freedom for its caster, thus proving effective as a pretty good distraction.

A few moments after he finished, the class slowly started to pile with students, sitting at their desks and chatting with one another. Cashew returned the scrolls he used to his proper place, finding his seat as he waited for Sato to pop up. Akina-sensei was shooting him sideways glances from time to time, which started to make the scholarly mouse feel a little uncomfortable. He didn't mean to intrude on whatever it was she was doing, and could only assume his early arrival prevented her from finishing what she needed to. When Sato finally arrived, he was able to divert his thoughts elsewhere, waiting for his friend to take his seat after he turned in his homework. Itsuki came in shortly after, but unlike the duo, didn't have any homework, and so he sat in his seat next to Sato. "You're here pretty early, Cashew." Sato stated, "Where did you end up sleeping last night?" "Right outside of the classroom; don't worry, I slept great. I decided to do some extra studying today, so I arrived around the same time Akina-sensei did..." His voice trailed off, not wanting to tell the boys what he saw - yet. Perhaps he was thinking into it more than he should have. And just as he had that thought, the Genin that assisted Akina-sensei yesterday arrived, while Akina herself briskly walked out of the door with the briefcase.
"Good morning, class. I'll be filling in for Akina-sensei today, so it won't be your typical class day. My name is Haruko!" The Genin introduced herself with a bow. The class returned her greeting with a loud, "Good morning Haruko-sensei!!", followed by an uproar of giggles. Haruko quieted the class down before continuing to speak, "Today Akina-sensei wants you guys to show me some of the skills you've learned. You each are going to take turns coming up to the front of the class to present to me, and your other classmates, three of your favorite techniques! Afterwards, we are all going to the Dojo, where you'll learn some physical combat basics." The class cheered, and Haruko had to quiet down the class once again. "Starting with you in the front row, we'll work our way across and down each aisle. Come up and introduce yourself!"
Each classmate received a turn to walk to the front of the class and present three of their favorite techniques after giving their name. Then it was Cashew's turn. Removing himself from his seat, he walked to the front of the classroom. There were murmurs among the crowd of students, "The rat can perform Ninjutsu?" "I've never seen him do anything." "I thought I saw him use strings during the food fight!" Cashew cleared his throat, gathering the class' attention. "Hello, class. My name is Cashew, for those who don't know. The first technique I am going to present to you is... A brief pause, followed by the mouse whipping his red cape around his body, and suddenly vanishing. "The Magic Cloak of Invisibility!" He'd announce, oohs and aahs echoing throughout the room. With another whip of his cape, the mouse was visible once again. Some of the students cheered and clapped. "Good job, Cashew!" Sato would call out. The mouse bowed, waiting the cheering to die down before continuing.
"This next one will require all of you to keep you hands and feet within the areas of your desks, please. Aisles should be clear!" The students made sure their bags, hands, and feet were all out of the aisles, eagerly waiting for Cashew's next trick. Haruko even stood behind Akina-sensei's desk to make sure she was out of the way. Performing the hand seals required for the technique with his little, mousy hands, he focused his chakra into the ground. Within mere moments, his two foot body sank into the floor below him, becoming almost like water as it flowed with the contour of his body. "This is the Earth Military Movement Technique." Cashew started to 'swim' down the aisles, the children gasping as he swam by, while others cheered. "I want to learn that move!" One of the children shouted. The mouse chuckled, returning to the surface of the ground in the front of the class. "And for my final technique..." He looked to Haruko and nodded towards the switch that controlled the roof of their academy building. Upon flipping the switch, a roof was placed over the top of the building, surrounding the classroom in darkness. Some of the children screamed. It wasn't likely that they were actually scared, but being childish, and most children are. "Please, quiet down. It's not so scary in here... Behold!" From the darkness a gentle glow of light emanated from Cashew's body. He looked very much like a mouse-shaped light bulb. The mouse then flickered the light he was creating off and on, making the children giggle and scream when the lights went out. "This is the Flickering Light Technique. My personal favorite." The class clapped, cheered, and hollered. Cashew ended his presentation with a formal bow before returning to his seat.
"Alright, alright. That's enough class." Haruko spoke, removing the roof from the top of their classroom to let in the natural sunlight once again. "You all have learned so much, I'm very proud of you." Haruko smiled at the students. "Now everyone get in line. We're going to the Dojo!" The students quickly took their places in line, following Haruko to the Dojo [ Exit ]
She was definitely interesting. The girl didn't bother with banter or some psuedo-witty back and forth. He could see it in her eyes- she meant to kill him. It was primal emotion that was hard to come by these days. Indeed, she was a beast. It fell to him, then, to turn her into a warrior. As her attack landed, the Shadow Clone of Belamos 'poofed' into a cloud of white smoke that quickly dissipated. While Nohea would likely be confused, a voice would ring out from behind her as the real Belamos made his entrance and, with the flood of memories crashing in, let a small grin slip as he spoke "Not bad- you know your way around blade eh?" Belamos extended his arm out and turned his palm downward. As he did flames danced outwards from his hand, materializing into his legendary Sun Spear. Belamos spun the weapon with all the skill and speed than a decade of practice had brought him and settled into a low defensive stance, awaiting her next move.
__Completely unexpected Nohea's blade pierced Belamos which resulted in only a puff of smoke blowing in her face. Confusion apparent on her face the shark girl landed back down in a crouch and stayed low to the ground much in the same way a panther would if it's prey had gotten away, though it wasn't the scent that gave him away but Belamos's own voice as he called out to her from behind. In a whirl of motion she turned to face him, kunai at the ready, only to find he now had a weapon of his own. It seemed like this was going to be a whole new game, one where she couldn't just rush in whenever she wanted. Like a switch flipped inside her Nohea only sat crouched staring at Belamos to make an attack now. It might not have been the right move as far showing him she was worthy but that was the last thing on her mind right now. Her mind was a entirely blank expect for in the moment instincts.
He moved quickly. Nowhere near his top speed, but fast enough that the girl would likely be hard-pressed to follow his movements. He approached her in a serpentine style; zigging and zagging in acute angles. When he was within a few meters he pounced out, feinting a stab and at the last minute twirling the end of his spear in a grand flourish that would serve to disarm the girl if she wasn't quick about it. She would also likely notice that his blade was glowing white hot. If any part of it came into contact with her skin she would find herself severely burned "Is this your limit?" He goaded her from his newfound proximity. He wanted to see the full extent of the beast within.

__Predatory eyes meant to focus on Belamos but Nohea found she was unable to follow any of his movements. It certainly wasn't looking good for her but she just didn't understand the concept of giving up and to be honest? There was no way she ever. A deep part of her loved every second of this. She adored when things went wrong because it meant she could get the chance to cut loose. Watching the blade come streaking towards her Nohea felt wrong about the idea of crossing blades with him, with his speed he displayed a second ago this had to be some kind of trap. Well she wouldn't play those games. Instead of trying to block his attack with her weapon the shark girl's body vanished faster than Belamos's strike and was replaced by by the first book she had placed on the table at the start of the fight. It was a little funny to think that his spear would undoubtedly burn a hole the book in seconds and likely get him in trouble, she would enjoy that later. Slashing out with her sword Nohea launched the white chakra scabbard at the sun god and quickly formed another as she charged at him trying to get his legs once more.

He couldn't help but smirk as the book was split in two- she was a forward-thinking girl he had to admit. Despite her animalistic tendencies it showed she was, at least, capable of some amount of planning. She had promise, that was without question, but first, she needed to be brought to heel so to speak. While he knew next to nothing about her, he could surmise by her desire for power that she also respected it. Perhaps by displaying his might, she would come to realize her role in this dynamic. It was then that a realization occurred to the man: she was testing him just as he was testing her- a mutual dance to see if the other would be the right fit. Well, fine. If she wanted to see the strength to which he could help her surpass, he would oblige her.
As her crecent of chakra flew towards him, Belamos extended his spear tip towards the incoming wave. As he did so, his weapon became engulfed in raging flames. When the wave crashed against the blade Nohea would see her attack broken against the point of Belamos spear, dissipating into specks of light as the jutsu faded away. As she met him with her jab, Belamos would lean in and block the attack, momentarily crossing blades with the girl. Using this opportunity, he would speak with her "You wanna see real power, girl? Fine!"
A wave of wind would sweep through the area- the powerful gusts carrying an oppressive heat with it. Starting from the ground up, a golden light spread through Belamos's body as his mortal form changed into that of his Divine Persona. His robes shifted into a coat of fire, his eyes a piercing gold, his seemingly beaming with a godly glow. The power of the form and seeing the sudden shift up close would likely astound the girl. She would almost have to squint to look at him as even though Belamos was limiting the light which this form exuded, he was still ringed by an illuminating aura.
He set his jaw and stared at her for a moment more before the girl would suddenly feel his fist slam into her gut- the spearman now holding his weapon with only one hand. His attacks had been fast before but now he was on a whole different level- it seemed light itself could scarcely move quicker! He held back on much of the power behind the blow, but it would still send her tumbling backward end over end. When she would finally come to a halt, Belamos seemingly teleported to her side, now standing over her and looking down to the young woman "You have strength, Nohea and even better you have the determination to fight. Yet, you still have much to learn." He extended his hand out to her now, a look of concerned stoicism upon his face "Learn at my side, and attain a power even greater than my own. I accept you as my student" It was her moment now- should she choose to accept his offer, she would become the pupil of a man who had just proven he lived up to the legend and, furthermore, would begin the training to surpass him.

__The wave of heat hit her first even as she attempted to stand firm, the burning heat felt like it was scorching her lungs from the inside out and the more it burned the more she gasped only to make her problems worse. Next came the the blindness from the pure light Belamos exuded from his body, although it wasn't like she could have even matched his speed if she wasn't blinded. Like an iron hammer crushing into her Nohea flew backwards and skidded along the ground before scrapping herself to a halt. Battered, bruised, and coughing her guts up the little shark girl pushed herself back to her feet still trying to be ready for a fight, and even she had to admit to herself that she was glad when it didn't come. Rubbing her eyes Nohea struggled to squint enough the grab Belamos's hand. "I'll do.. whatever it takes.. ugh.. whatever you tell me." When she felt like she had composed herself enough to speak again Nohea added on. "So, what's first?" Despite her tough girl act Belamos would more than likely be able to see through her at how exhausted she was, but she had to put on this front. There was no room for weakness in the outside world so how could she have any in here?
Despite her acceptance as her place as an apprentice, Belamos showed very little reaction to the news. All the outwardly happened is that his Divine Persona slowly dimmed until he had returned to his mortal form. While one would not notice, the form change was extremely taxing and to do it twice in one day left Belamos exhausted. He kept up the appearance of power, though, for the girl's sake. He crossed his arms and took a deep inhale "What comes next is an understanding. As my student, you will provide me with your undying loyalty and unwavering respect. In exchange, I vow to never lead you astray and to provide you with the tools to forge a power that will one day surpass my own. As a sign of good faith, I give you this gift" Pulling a scroll from his pocket, he pressed his palm to the bottom of the unfurled paper and summoned forth a plume of smoke. From this concealment, an odd looking blade leaped into the air- shaped like a flounder with two holes in it. Belamos caught the blade out of the air and held it by one of it's two handles "This is the Hiramekarei, a legendary blade" Without a moment's hesitation he tossed it to Nohea "Master it. That is your first step"

__Still weakened from their fight Nohea barely managed the catch the massive double handled blade. It's irregular shape immediately caught her curiosity but what 'drew her in, both figuratively and literally, was a slight humming that seemed to reverberate from within her soul. A leech would be the closest feeling that she could compare it to and yet not this was so much different than that. The chakra it pulled came from her body but it was not in anyway hurtful, in fact she barely noticed it at all. It was sort of like she grew an extra arm and her chakra had flooded to fill in the new extremity. Trying to preform a test of her own, the shark girl reached out mentally to the chakra source that pooled inside the blade to see if she could do anything with it and to her surprise found it much more malleable than before. Yet as she tried to form this chakra herself she was only successful in creating grey and white sputters around the hole and along the blade. It seemed whatever mysterious power this legendary blade held would require more than simply picking it up to use.
To say Nohea was awestruck didn't do any of it justice, mostly because she didn't know how or what she was feeling at all to begin with. This was the first time she had ever revived a gift before in her life and no all of a sudden everything seemed like it was happening so fast around her. Sort of like she was apart of a family. Her faced shifted from joy the joy of belonging to the confusion at the twisting feeling in her gut. Looking back up to Belamos the little shark girl struggled to choke out a tear free response. "Could I be excused to the dojo? I think that might be a better place to master this gift." Though her desire to train was strong, the excuse was more for herself to sort out these feelings that plagued her.
Unki recalled on her past endeavors in academy settings. She found the concept of passing her knowledge was fulfilling and wanted to feel that sensation again, even if for a few minutes. A few minutes could easily become several minutes and that several minute distraction wasn't a bad idea to change the focus, temporarily, off of the mysterious rising of the village. What is Toso thinking?
Anyway, after a bit of conversing with some "official" at the school Unki was introduced to as a volunteer to inform her fellow ninja about whatever she could dish out to them. Dish. This was a cooking "lecture" after all, so puns are very much intended. Her agreement was on the promise to be temporarily supplied with whatever it was she'd need to accomplish this impromptu lecture. [1/5]
Unki was versed in cooking and considered a specialist in nutrition that one of the combat profession might find worth while at times. She started off her lecture with a description of a familiar edible thing that really didn't sound all that palatable. The soldier pill. A ball of carbohydrates that typically came off as bland and hardly instilling any thought to being good for you, at least, in Unki's opinion. [2/5] But Unki said she was here to explain how to jazz up the soldier pill under the circumstances that one was stuck making their own supplies. "A typical ration pellet is composed of carbohydrates, proteins, immune system fighting ingredients, nutritious dried fruits, something rich with magnesium, and an ingredient good for the muscles and bones!" Unki further explained what these supplies could be and anything from raisins, cashews, spices, dried green vegetables, and cocoa. [3/5]
"Not the sweet kind of cocoa, the dry, bitter baking sort that you can add sugar as needed if one's pallate can't really stomach the intensity. I can, sometimes, when i'm in the the mood for it. Cocoa's got endorphins and endorphins are great any time of year! I strongly advise you to research the basics about the foods you eat and can get dried forms. From a culinary stand point, paring flavors is prized but requires trial and error. Take the modest daikon radish," she said along her point about nutrition and flavor. [4/5] "The modest daikon can be dried up for consumption and they're very high in vitamin C and potassium. The daikon also has a sweet, crisp and mild flavor so that could pair well with anything but cocoa!" A few personal opinions didn't hurt. She went on to describe the first steps in putting together these on-the-go rations: "When you've selected your bread, the base, the carbohydrate, grind it up into a fine flour and mix with a vegetable oil. A single table spoon of oil should be enough."[5/5]Title: Lecture - Rank B
"Vegetable oil is good for you, it's just using it to make fry tempura style that's the less good-for-you part. Remember, you will need to cook these in something that acts like an oven. I haven't tried this over an open fire but try to cover your creations first and foremost if such is the case." [1/5] "At that point you would mix and bind the two ingredients together. Don't eat them at this point, it would be gross to have oily cookie crumbs on your fingers. Your next step is to add the optional cocoa powder, if you like that stuff, and continue to knead the bag. Oh. I forgot to add the most important part, you need a bowl or a bag." Her small audience chuckled along with Unki at her mistake. She waved her hand. [2/5]
"Maybe you all would have figured that out yourselves." But here, in a dojo, there was no telling if these kiddos were thinking with their brains or their muscles. The next steps were self explanatory, she thought. "It's here that you add your little fixings. The important fixings that make the ration your own and provide the nutrition you, as the unique little starling that you are, need to be your best. [3/5]
"I think raisins are okay and rich in minerals. I would add them in but I also like dried, diced apricots because I'm an Unki with certain nutritional needs. Still, like anything else, moderation is the key to making sure you're not overloading on the fruit sugars. Consider all of this and proceed to roll your hypothetical, fruity little ration balls into iddy bitty two centimeter balls. Write that down, two centimeters. It's a good size for baking." [4/5]
Unki would make the rolling motions and estimated size gestures with her hands. "It's super important and to make sure you add all of your crunched up nuts, as I would advise you crunch your nuts, nutritious seeds, and what seasonings that are both beneficial, work with your desired flavor, and easy to work in. Rolling pins are multipurpose tools. These ingredients could be very trial and error but trial and error is what cooking is about. Easy too." [5/5] Title: Lecture - Rank B #2
"Once you've got everything perfectly square, er, round in your two centimeter balls with what have you, put them in the oven. Space each piece out, unless you absolutely want a cluster of cooked ration balls. Although clusters aren't easy to store and break without much effort." [1/5]
It was here that Unki paused with thought before speaking again. "Cooking is also trial and error. If you open the oven or if you've got a handy toaster oven, the door can't be opened a whole lot. You'll mess with the process. If you can't spot what burnt food looks like, please consider asking a friend to help. Dry is the goal. Toasted is a good status to have your food in but burnt food is not for everyone, unless you're desperately hungry and have enough water to chug down. [2/5]
Unki remembered that she really shouldn't be overly expressive here. Her worried expressions could concern her audience and question her credibility as someone who knows her way around a kitchen. No one had to know she was a house-wife-empress who actually knew most of her way around a kitchen and cooked various rice bowls and hacked at raw fish for her and her husband's meals. [3/5]
"Give 250 degrees Fahrenheit in the oven a go for about 15 minutes. The binder is really what you want to pull the ingredients together, the oil is the binder. It really isn't necessary to go all out with your cooking process. You don't have to dig a whole, throw in some coals or wood and get a fire going. You don't have to be intricate with using iron cookware and setting it into said hole and covering with wood blocks. [4/5]
Of course, if that's your kind of cooking then more power to you. The less rugged and slightly more fortunate of us chefs use the toaster oven. Or the big oven. 10 minutes later!" Unki held her arms out to her side, spread her fingers apart and fanned her hands for effect. "Check your nutritious creations. When they're cool, you can taste and modify the recipe as needed. Remember that you're going to be eating these when you can't stop and get a cup of tea from a quaint little shop on the side of the road. Don't fill them up with things that get bitter unless you like bitter and don't need a glass of milk to wash it down. Herbs. Herbs can be bitter."[5/5] Title: Lecture - Rank B #3
"Herbs" marked the start of her parting words. Unki continued to emphasis research, finding flavors, and to think "travel sized snacks". As for other ideas which came to Unki's head, each connecting the dots to encouraging research, tasting, and the mindset of dealing with things that are good for you but typically don't taste all that great. She inspired herself, if anything, and felt a little less empty about where her path could take her.
The "lecture" was complete. Young minds were probably molded into thinking about how much salt exactly is needed until things start tasting better or how many raisins one could shove into a tiny ball. She answered some questions here and there, mostly about using heating alternatives like an open fire and if this sort of cook ware was better for that sort of thing. In time, the chunin was able to flee to move onto other tasks on her mind.

The task in question was related to both heat and herself. She didn't really imagine herself to jump from a cooking lecture to training but now was a good time as ever. A hop, skip, and a not-literal jump to a roomy space was located back outdoors. Outdoors, where the clouds were now just about literally a stone's throw away, was opportune for expressing her burning bloodline. With cooking still on her mind, the passionate culinary chunin literally allowed her energy to explode into a yellow-ish cloak around her. {Unki Learns A Custom: Scorch - She Bleeds the Sun, Rank A}
The thought crossed her mind is she could use her own body to cook donburi by placing a pot of water on her head. But, wouldn't her scorching abilities just dry out the rice? Maybe in smaller doses than one big barrage of heat could her own nature be and successfully make warm, fluffy rice. Then again, settling for homemade beef jerky was good enough for her when all else fails. [Unki learns a custom : Scorch Pearls of the Sun God [Taiyō no Shinju] Rank X}
Whatever next on Unki's plate wasn't going to take place at the academy. She probably could actually use her free time to actually do some real cooking. Supplies were needed. {Exit to the Market District}

Trick Technique: Blade’s Edge Rank: B :: Training Description: The user has learned to utilize projectile weapons with this style, allowing their small projectile weapons to be interchangeable with small weapons for this style. All projectile weapons used in this manner gain a slight speed increase for each rank of formless training with projectiles. This increase only applies to techniques from this style.
Tanisoko
Dexterity: Two Halves :: Rank C :: Training:: Basic training in the style involves using the techniques one at a time, but this is slightly problematic when it comes to higher-level movements. To increase overall skill and proficiency with the weapons of this style, the user trains by using both sticks simultaneously instead of in the disjointed way that the early stages emphasized. After mastering this training, the user gains a slight boost to speed for all techniques in the style. Dexterity: Footwork :: Rank B :: Training:: The user practices all known techniques again, this time incorporating basic footwork to add to the fluidity and practicality of the style. After mastering this training, the user gains a moderate bonus to movement speed while using any technique from this style or tonfa, twin sticks, or hard physical Formless Style techniques. Dexterity: Striking : Rank A: Training: ...the user employs image training to figure out ways to fully utilize the offensive possibilities of a two stick weapon combo. Tonfa Formless techniques are treated as complex when interacting with other Formless techniques. Swift like the River - Rank: S :: Training Description: The user practices speeding and slowing the Chakra flow through his or her joints in order to get a better feel for how the flow should go. Extreme Climate Resistance Training - Rank: C :: Training Description: The user spends a great deal of time completely immersed in the most intense weather the region has to offer. Following this training, the user does not suffer from adverse climate effects. Additionally, using one or more of the Pi, Qua, and Quan techniques in any combination increases the user's fortitude slightly for one post, to a max of one [1] descriptive rank per trained level in the Soft Physical Formless Style. Advanced Endurance Training - Rank: B :: Training Description: The user practices holding any stances they know in the most extreme weather of their region, as far from anyone else as is practical. After completing practice, the Stamina costs of techniques in this Style are reduced by half if the practitioner has used the same technique at some point in the last two posts. Pi Qua - Rank: A :: Training Description: By repeating the transition between the Pi and Qua techniques repeatedly, the user becomes able to perform them quickly enough that starting with one and transitioning into the other only consumes one action for the post, and also cannot be interrupted if the first hits. Pi Qua Quan - Rank: S :: Training Description: After learning all other techniques in this Style, the practitioner runs through them all again, stringing them together in the longest combo they can. Following this training, the practitioner finds themselves capable of using all techniques in the Style up to the highest learned rank of the Soft Physical Formless Style for 10 less Stamina, to a minimum of 5 Stamina.
His gift seemed to have more of an effect on the girl than his earlier punch did. Definitely an interesting one, she was. When she asked permission before leaving, Belamos nodded and lifted two fingers off of his crossed arms "You may" Assuming she would leave, Belamos turned on his heels and headed towards the nearest door. "And make sure you find me once you've done so" He called back before exiting the room himself.

__ He enterred the academy to learn some more ninjutsu. Kenshin had a long break from the extensive martial arts training that he had undergone earlier. Now it was time to increase his arsenal of ninja magic ninjutsu.
First, he wanted to learn a few more nonelemental techniques. He sat down and read the scroll. He read the technique descriptions in great detail. After reading for a long time he was able to confidently say that he mastered the lot of them. He also read from fuuinjutsu and elemental scrolls.
Learned: Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [ Multiple Shadow Clone Technique ] | Augment Dokushinjutsu [ Eye Mind Reading ] | X Korabo | E-S+ Meisai Gakure no Jutsu [ Camouflage Concealment Technique ] | A
He would now learn some fuuinjutsu which he had no prior experience with but knew that it would be useful to him. Some of the more advanced techniques he did not understand or have access to. Overall, he was able to understand some of the basics. After some time, he mastered some sealing methods and raiton as well.
Learned: Fūnyū no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] | E-S+ Kaifū no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ] | E-S+ Omamori no Kekkai [ Protective Tag Barrier ] | A Holy Creature [ Kirin ] | S
Kenshin's primary element was lightning so he wanted to increase his arsenal of techniques for that element further. He read more from the raiton scroll and chose a couple more techniques. He read over some complicated raiton and knew that practicing them would destroy the academy. He just read them in detail and would hope for the best in terms of his knowledge when the time came.
Learned: Thousand Birds Needles [ Chidori Senbon ] | A Lightning Wolf [ Raiton Okami ] | Rank A
Once he finished his training he received an emergency call from the CORE Compound. He quickly left the area because the message was coded as extremely urgent.

Personal Attributes • Gentle Fist of the Law | All gentle fist techniques cost ten less chakra and stamina at a minimum of five while genjutsu costs five more chakra. • Armory of Justice | Kenshin receives one free custom weapon. • Born Geniuses | The Hyuuga members are born able to learn 2 extra taijutsu per post, and are capable of starting with an extra tai style.
Nuibari Attributes • Infinite Needles | While Nuibari functions perfectly fine as a long, thin blade that sits between a Jian and a Foil. It's comprised of infinite, instantly replenishing needles. If an opponent is stabbed, the blade will leave several needles inside of the opponent. It also never runs out of string either, with one at the base of the weapon, and one attached to each needle. Similarly, unhindered, the weapon always comes back when thrown for the techniques below, and can be pulled to the user free of activation via its wire so long as the nigh-invisible string is not cut. • Thread the Needle | This skill increases the speed of the wielder moderately while Nuibari is wielded.

Kaito led his new friend Kisuke to the academy, humming a small tune in between conversation. "So, this is our academy. There are a lot of scrolls and books on a variety of subjects though I don't know if you'll find clan techniques here more than their backgrounds. I had to learn my clans from my peers," he said, revealing that he was a member of more than one bloodline. He gestured to various areas of the academy as he introduced them.
"Our dojo is separate. It's probably something I should visit sooner or later since I've neglected my physical studies, but it's hard to pick a style since there are so many great choices." He turned to Kisuke, expectant of some awed response to their academy. Kaito was proud of the village to say the least and having a great time playing tour guide, too.

" In a world without fear of death... People will never attain the hope that is to be found from..."
Entering into the Academy the kid began explaining more than enough; yes this is the place he wanted to start. Information was important, and even if this kid didn't know it he was helping an outside gather useful information that could be used against his own village and family. Reaching up Kisuke pulled his hood back as Kaito pointed towards the scrolls that contained the clan statistics. "Yeah I should get mine too." He gave away that he might be related to some type of clan or how some different knowledge than kaito himself would have. "What clan did you have to learn from?" He asked looking down at the boy. With his hood pulled down Kaito would see that Kisuke's hair was just white like snow, and it covered up Amber colored eyes. "I think I'm going to spend sometime here. if you want to stay you can; but I will be a while." Kisuke then walked towards one of the racks that held several scrolls grabbing a couple of them without any real reason for the ones he had chosen. He then brought them over to a table setting them down before pulling out the chair that had been resting under the table before seating himself down. Unrolling one of the scrolls as he began to read trying to find out all that he could. People paid for knowledge, and gaining it could be a real useful weapon.

Kaito was excited that Kisuke was taking an interest. "I learned from the Chiru clan, of the flower petals, and from the Nagadera clan, of pure light. It's interesting to be born of both, though I never met my father and had to learn from someone else in the neighborhood. Not that I mind. A teacher is a teacher, y'know." He shrugged, looking suddenly distant but not necessarily solemn.
"Yeah, I could visit the dojo for a bit," he said non-commitally. "I'm not sure if you're allowed in here without a headband but I used to forget mine too so it's no big deal. I'll visit the dojo real quick and come back, then. Don't get into any trouble," he joked light-heartedly, still assuming Kisuke to be from Arashigakure. With that, Kaito took his leave to the dojo.
