Ah came back in Durem, only to find ta lady's place occuped by... another lady. Ah swear, she coulda warned me ! The fact tat I was on da boat with no mean of being reached, that be NO EXCUSE ! Da old hag at least told me where da hell she went... Blue hairs seemed suprised ta see me. But there ah I figure out... She thought I was done for. Ha. HAHAHAHA. Not this jumi, woman ! There's a ******** more kidlets. Great. Most of all... Ivory's gone.
She like, went on tat guilttrip or some shiat, thinking it was her fault ah left and thought she coulah take care of him. So she gave him back to Crystal. Whattahell. She says he ended with a friend of hers and not ta worry, but WHATTAHELL. She better, or else... al'll steal him right back, and no one betta dare me !

[I hope this is ok. surprised I'm dropping off a gift for Tsumi~ heart ] The teen held the colorfully wrapped present in her arms as she knocked on the door. After a while, no one came out. I guess no one's home. Knocking a few more times, there was still no answer. Placing the box on the front door-step, she quietly went her way again.
On the box there was a tag that read:
"To: Tsumi From: Em and Kameko"
On the back of the tag read a short message:
"I hope we can become friends. It's been a while since we saw each other. I hope to see you soon. And Kameko asks if you can forgive her for her actions in the cave. Have a beautiful day."
Inside of the box was a small plush made from fabric resembling the colors Tsumi had. Either it was her hair, her clothing or the color of her eyes. Knowing she liked the color gold, Em made the little claws gold of color, hoping to please the female. Even the little tail-blade was made of silver fabric, it was a colorful little plush indeed.

Tsumi had been "back" for a few weeks now, but she hadn't visited Estansel since her return. Curse all this setteling in.
It was finally time, now. It had been so long since she had been there, been home.
When she noticed an emergance ceremony, she almost turned tails and left, in a rare display of respect... But in a flash... she could have sworn she reconised the stone.
She walked, completely sillent, and watched.
A boy. A little boy. ...Her brother ? No, no more, right ? Did he even remember her ? The times she talked to him ? She remained there, sillent, watching.... confused. Subdued, for an instant.
Shi had tried to prepare herself for the 'emergance', as such a term only seemed fitting. As Crystal is mostly human in appearance, and thus also in height, Shi had to believe that the child likely would be as tall as she, if not taller. Yet no matter how many times she prepared herself, looking into the boy's ivory eyes, directly at her level, gives her a start.
"Are you.. " 'Are you mine?' is what she wants to ask, a question that bubbles up from someplace inside her soul. A voice of a being who wants to know if there is someone in the world who belongs to her, and she can belong to in return.
"I... I was..." Soft hands upon her cheeks halts her speech, the pillow falling to the ground without a sound to announce its momentary rejection. The young Jumi's smile is soft, his look inquiring.
"I know you." His voice has a light roughness to it, but with a silken purr towards the end. It's as if a cat has bathed the skin of his listeners, following it up with a loving rub to declare its affection. What his eyes did not already melt, his voice finishes. For the first time in her life, tears well up in Shi's eyes.
Then those pearly whites spot another, and a laugh of utter delight snaps the moment like a dry twig. "Tsumi!" the youth cries, scrambling to his feet so he can run over to the one who he remembers so vividly. Whether the Ruby Jumi is prepared or not, the half clothed boy throws his arms about her middle once he reaches her on his wobbly legs.
Smiling, Crystal couldn't help but tear up a little on the inside. This was one of the sweetest emergences she'd ever had..and it was made even sweeter by the appearence of Tsumi. She wanted to greet her old friend, but realized she had some bonding to do with her old..now emerged, brother. Slowly, she began to stand and steped back a few feet to watch in awe at the sweet moments between family and friends..and at that moment she missed Rena dearly..
Indeed, Tsumi was no prepared for this, and only barely did the world miss the sight of the ruby jumi landing on her butt from the impact of the incoming boy. But, fortunatly (or unfortunately, who knew ?), she somehow managed to remain on her own two feet, simpely staring at the tiny one that had taken over the lower half of her body for a moment. He... remembered her ?
Somehow... it felt like the world was lifted from her shoulders, all her worries going up in proverbial smoke for a moment, as a grin drew itself on her face.
"Hey..." ...What was his name ? She couldn't really call him ivory now. Not many jumi actually had a name that matched their gemstone. Hell, she was the first exemple of it. "...Hey kid." She finally setteled, hand gentely going to ruffle the jumi's hair playfully. "Glad ta see ya."
"Glad ta see ya, too!" the boy mimics with a grin, his eyes flashing with a lesser intensity than his stone. "I've missed you, Tsumi! The other is nice, and she understood me sometimes, but never like you." He has yet to let Tsumi go, as if he's afraid she'll take off if he does. "Did I do something wrong?" he asks in a lower voice, looking up to fix the Ruby Jumi with his wide pearly gaze. It is a searching look, seeking the error that he as a core performed to be given away.
Shi's tears fall then, and her head lowers to take in the red of the abandoned pillow. So.... the boy had not wanted to leave his old family. She should feel relieved. The responsibility was no longer hers. No interuptions to her organizing, her reading, her quiet time. Yet, what is this hole in her heart? A paw lifts to a cheek, where the boy had touched her, and her blue eyes close. She'll remember that moment for always. Without realizing she is doing it, her other hand reaches for and grabs the pillow, tucking it up against her as she did so many times in the past.
"No, no, ya did nothin' wrong." She answered, her eyes falling on the... woman ? Cat ? Uh, person. Yeah. Person. She bit her lip for a moment. As much as she wanted to, she couldn't take him away from her. She could see the mirror of her own feelings in the mozou, for an instant, and she knelt in front of the ivory jumi to look him in the eyes.
"Ya did nothin' wrong, dearie. Thar be I, if anyone did, who made da mistake. It be a long story. And now, ah think it ain't the right time fer it." She said slowly, gentely cupping his chin with an hand. "Ah think your new mama miss ya." She whispered, her gaze returning to the mozou. "Ah think ya should go give her ah big hug. Da biggest hug ever. Ah'll be right there."
This boy had a gift, a beautiful gift. He could make people happy... he filled voids that sometimes some did not know of their existance.
"B.." The 'but' is caught along with his chin by Tsumi's hand, and he listens in silence to his sister's words of wisdom. He doesn't want to accept that it wasn't his fault, and it couldn't have been Tsumi's! She's always been there for him, watching over him and talking to him. Yet, so had Shi.
He nods firmly, accepting Tsumi's explaination for now. She wouldn't lie. Not to him. Besides, Shi looks so sad once he turns to regard her. He didn't mean to make soft Shi sad. "Shi?" he calls, grasping for both of Tsumi's hands to hold them steady with his own. He remebers these the most. Through it all, Tsumi's hands will always feel soft to him, no matter how rough Tsumi may get them.
"Shi, please don't cry?" He leaves her then, his big sister that he missed so very much. His legs work better now after having their bit of practice, though he does stumble once on his way over to the Mozou.
Shi turns her head and looks up in time to meet the Ivory Jumi's eyes with her teary blue ones, just in time before the boy's arms wrap her in a healing embrace, his cheek pressed up against hers. "You'll be my momma, right Shi?" he asks earnestly, the one of his horn getting tangled in Shi's silver hair.
Did she hear him right? He wanted her and not his old family? She shoots a questioning look over to Tsumi, an arm going about the Jumi of Ivory protectively. Is it true?
She say nothing, letting the boy go once he decided himself, slowly working herself back to standing, the edge of her cloak brushing the floor as she moved in a fuild motion, and simpely watched, chassing brown and red bangs from her field of vision with an idle hand.
When she felt Shi's eyes land on her, she didn't even flinch. Her own eyes said that she refused to give up the place she had in the boy's heart - but that she also didn't need drastic mesures to do so, after all. Even if they did not live together... no one could tell them not to consider the other at family. That, in the bottom of her heart... Tsumi knows that it would be impossible.
Then, finally, she smilled.
Shi's smiles are usually a thing of rarity. Eirnae once told the Mozou that she belived Shi saved them so they wouldn't lose their radiance. That could very well be believed as the Mozou's mouth slowly curves up into the warmest smile she's ever smiled, and the full joy of it aimed directly at Tsumi. She then turns her head to bury her face in the little boy's hair, suddenly full of gratitude. "Yes, I will be your momma," she promises the Ivory Jumi, not caring right then about the repercussions. Come what may, once she's made a promise, Shi is one to keep it. But just to be sure that the Jumi she now holds close with both of her arms knows she really means it, she adds, "I promise."
"Thank you, momma," the young boy whispers with a nuzzle into the silkiness of Shi's fur and hair. He thought his pillow was soft? His new momma is much, much softer! "Do I have a name?" is his next question, relunctantly separating himself from his source of warm fur and looking back at Tsumi with a curious expression. "I don't remember...?"
The Mozou looks thoughtful for a moment, studying the profile of her Jumi's face. She reaches up to lightly run a digit of a paw along one of his horns before softly replying, "Let's call you Zydeth, my Immortal Jumi of Ivory." A low purr rumbles as she gets to fussing over his hair with her tongue, rearranging it as her kind would in their feline forms. It seems more natural to do with way, what with her without a comb or brush on hand.
The rasp of her tongue against his cheek now and then when she misses his hair draws out a giggle as the boy wriggles in place. "That tickles, momma!"
Zydeth, uh ? That had a ring to it, she had to admit. Tsumi still watched in sillence from afar, as if afraid her coming closer would either break the moment, or something similar. She had a knack for doing that, as she had to admit. She was being a mama cat right at him - quite literally.
Her eyes scanned the room, and she discovered that the clarius was gone, or so it seemed. This didn't completely surprise her, she had to admit.
"Momma .. Momma.. I'm clean, really!" Zydeth protests with still more giggles, patting away Shi's paws as if the two are attempting a game of patty-cake and haven't quite gotten the rythm down yet.
Zydeth dances out of Shi's swatting range, both participants convinced that the brief chase was a game, and likely one to be repeated in the future. The change that comes over Shi once Zydeth is no longer near her is rather amazing. Her smile disappears, and her paws immediately go to rest upon the pillow that has yet to get away again from her lap. Only the sparkle of delight has yet to leave her eyes.
The Ivory Jumi takes note that his sister is looking around the steps, and so he does, too. Seeing nothing unusual, he practices his walking by getting over to stand by Tsumi and turn to face the way as she is. Maybe he just didn't notice what she is looking at yet? On tiptoe, Zydeth whispers up to Tsumi, "What are we looking for?"
Shi pays the pair no mind now that her role in Zydeth's life has been secured. A twitch of a smile jerks up a corner of her mouth before she starts to get up, with the backpack she had yet to take off swung off from over one arm, then another, and set on the ground so she can put the pillow away.
While the others had been caught up with the new arrival, Crystal couldn't take it anymore and ran off. Not home, however, but to her usual hideout. And here, she had fallen sleep, tears dried upon her cheeks, against one of her favorite trees, a lavender flower gripped in her hand.
"Oh, ah was looking for the clarius." She said, almost absentmindely. "But she seem ta have left... Dun worry about it, Zy."
After all, she could come later. Probably warn first somehow... walking on emergance ceremonies was not an habit she wante to create, even if this had happened to be luck greater than she could describe. Again, her hand went to the boy's hair, careful not to cause a second session of licking. Remembering this, she tlits her head a bit to look at Shi.
"So before ah do or say anything stupid." She start, looking an hair curious. "Who an what might ya be, miss... ? Ah cannah say I have seen one like ya before, ta be truthful."
Shi looks up at Tsumi's question, not suprised that even after the Mozou straightens up to her full height that Tsumi towers over her. No matter, it's never intimidated her before. She bends back down to make sure that the pillow is indeed full within her pack and ties the laces with a familiarity that marks this pack as having been with her for some time. She grips the top loop and carries it over in Tsumi's direction, offering the Jumi of Ruby her free paw to shake or clasp, whatever tradition this Jumi may observe. She also includes a slight bow of her head for good measure. "My name is Shi. I am a Mozou."
She considers Tsumi a moment longer before including, "As you are now family, it will only do to also say that my kind are a type of magical creation. We are born from clay and magic, given focus and meaning by a particular 'thing' of which we mimic, and a bond to a living being. It is my bond, my Mistress, that gave me Zydeth's core to take care."
"She likes to read books. Lots, and lots of books," Zydeth adds helpfully, giving a little tug at the waistband of his pants. "And Mozou don't exist here. They were found on Gaia. Right, momma?" He pets Shi's furry shoulder, though it's not certain if he does so to get her attention or just because it feels nice.
"Yes... Right in both cases, Zydeth." How did Zydeth know either of those? His core must have picked up more about the world than she thought! "I know little of your race as well, Miss ... ?"
((WHAHAHAHAHAHA XD
Tsumi : *cover eyes* o_O;;; ))
Tsumi takes the offered paw, and shook it gentely - almost as if afraid to somehow hurt the small, cat-like creature.
"Ah see." She nodded gentely. "My name be Tsumi. Ah would be the jumi of ruby." She, as well, took a small bow upon introducing herself. "Gaia be a world full of things, that it be... Ah miss this place most of ta time... My bond has too many ta think about living here, but that be okay. Ah can come 'a go, after all." She said, softly.
"She also, once, was da caretaker of Zy... but ah, well... left, one day, on a journey. Ah was gone much too long - my bond thought ah be dead." She couldn't help but laugh - she STILL trought that was the sillyest thing ever. "And she thought that be her fault, for a reason ah cannot quite understand. She said she gave Zy to a friend of her, thinking that be the best thing ta do... I figure that would been yer misteress, miss Shi." At least, the puzzle seemed to complete itself this way. "Ah... didn't know all this would happen, ah admit."
"A pleasure then, Tsumi," Shi replies, her eyes providing the smile that her lips do not offer. "I am not one for travel, myself. I prefer to catalogue the adventures of others rather than risk my own neck." Her mouth does move up in a smile then, though it is more of a smirk. "Yet tell me there is a stash of knowledge somewhere, and I'll pack for a trip faster than a rabite can hop." She decided to use Fa'Dielian terminology, for she is on their world.
Deciding that it was best to leave Shi and Tsumi alone so they could talk about 'grown up stuff', Zydeth wanders over to the gemstone that his pillow was once resting on and looks down into its depths. It's really quite pretty, how the inner sparkle of a gem can be seen if one really knows how to pay close attention. Here is a simple beauty, found in a stone that was only polished and not cut.
Shi keeps an eye on Zydeth, remembering how active she was as a cubling, and not wanting him to get into any sort of trouble, especially here of all places. Shi lifts up a brow a bit at Tsumi's saying that her caretaker thought her dead. "Sad that she had such little faith in you," is her quiet remark, and soon added at a more normal tone is, "The best formed circles are often those that are not planned. We can consider this the will of your Gods, I suppose. You do have gods of some sort, right?" She really doesn't know. Such is a subject she had yet to dive full into.
"Ah quite agree with ya." Tsumi answered, keeping an eye on Zydeth as well - as every overprotective sister did, after all. "Am all about traveling... Ah find alot of treasure !" Ahhh, and there was her motivation. To call Tsumi greedy... was pretty much thinking in the right direction, but even her greed seemed to have a limit. "Ah never heard about any "stash of knowledge", but al letcha know if I evar find one. Ya got nothing to fear with me there !"
This was true - even with her faults, Tsumi was a fiece, brave soul, having allready proved she wasn't afraid to protect others.
"Ah, well, am not one ya might want to go for that information, ah believe, miss Shi. Ah don't care much about those thing, so ah not really know much of it."
"I'd appreciate that, Tsumi. My library can always use another stash of written works," Shi says with sincerity and a flash of her zeal for knowledge in her sapphire blue eyes. "If you ever need the use of a map or a tidbit of information for your journeys, you come to me first, alright?"
"I'll see whom I can ask about such matters then," she says with a nod, "It's of little consequence for now. I was just curious."
Zydeth leaves the large ruby behind to come back to be beside the two ladies of his life, getting a good grip on Tsumi's tunic and giving it a gentle tug to get her attention. "Tsumi, can I go with you on your next adventure?" he asks eagerly, his eyes full of the promise of combating monsters and finding precious treasures.
Shi's brows come together as she shoots Tsumi a 'Please say no!' look. She realizes that she can't keep Zydeth by her side all of the time, and she wouldn't want to even if she could. Yet he's just been reborn. Surely he needs to know more about this world before he takes off exploring another?
"Ah'll remember that." After all, only a fool used no maps, and Tsumi didn't consider herself one.
And then... THE question. She tapped a finger on her chin, a thoughtfull look on her face. "Ah dunno, Zy. 'M not planning to go anywhere any time soon, anyway. Ah got lots of things ta catch up on, both in here an' in gaia." She kept the thoughtfull face, as she looks at the expecting jumi. "It may be a long time before ah even think about it."
"Oh..." Yes, that is the sound of a disappointed child who just had their hopes dashed. Luckily, or perhaps the opposite if you consider what Shi will be going through in the next few weeks, he bounces right back out of it with an even better idea. "Momma offered the use of her library, right? We could look in there, and find an adventure that you and I could do here in Fa'Diel! Maybe we'll find a new artifact, or meet one of the Wisdoms. Maybe even both!"
Oh dear. Shi should of known that her offer could backlash on her, but she didn't think it would so quickly. Then again, if Zydeth has only just awoken, that would mean that his concept of 'adventure' could be a little less dramatic than she's thinking. Hrm. "Tsumi, I have to agree with Zydeth on one point," she says with a lick to a paw that is swiftly put to use smoothing a rogue hair on her Jumi's head. "We are living in the treehouse to the south of Dominia. It's rather hard to miss. Please come by anytime that you like."
"I'm afraid it's best that we go for now. I'll be needing some time to introduce Zydeth to my sister, Nyn, and our house guest, Lasse." My, that took effort to say the last part without cringing. She offers Zydeth one of her paws, which he accepts after looking at it for a moment. "I hope for you to visit us soon. Be well."
"Bye, Tsumi!" Zydeth calls with a wave of his free hand as he and Shi start to head away from Etansel.
If Tsumi is paying close attention, she just may hear the beginning of a new conversation. "Be well, momma? But Tsumi doesn't look sick..."

DivineSaturn It has been three years since the Clarius had been turned to stone. Just as Etansel seemed to be regaining some of its former sparkle, the light was snuffed out. A few tried to take action, any action, but in the end, the chamber of the Clarius was abandoned. No one has been to Etansel in months. No one knows what's going on.
The Mana Tree, once vibrant from the energy of those it protected, finds itself dwindling again. It desperately reaches out through the other trees it has formed connections to, including a very large one in West Barton, Gaia. If it can just reach someone, anyone, to keep it from fading again...
Those who wander too close to the tree might find themselves in Fa'diel without trying. If they do some exploring of the cracked, broken city they find, they may discover something interesting...
~KiraKaguya~ How long had it been since she last visited? At first she frequented Fa'diel several times a day. Over the course of the years it dwindled down to at best once a year. She always wanted to frequent more often, but there was no one there anymore. The once shimmering city she loved so much stopped dead in its tracks. The laughter and the memories all seemed to drift away just as the city itself did.
With a heavy sigh, the green-haired monk gently touched the giant tree in Barton. She expected nothing to happen, as the last few times she tried to go back to Fa'diel the tree only stood still in silence.
This time it was different. Before she knew it she was bathed in a familiar light. Did this really happen just now? Had she returned to Fa'diel? More specifically, Etansel? But nothing had changed. The once shimmering stones on the ground were still dull, non-responsive. If nothing happened, what brought about the sudden ability to return to Etansel? Zero Dream Something was wrong.
Something was very, very wrong.
To say that Tsumi was gone for quite a long time was... an understatement. Yet, she was not expecting to see what she saw, once she touched the tree and went to Fa'Diel.
...What the hell ?
It was quiet... too quiet.
"Oiy ? Hey ? HEY !!!! Anyone in here ?!" She called out.
