Shi walked into a dark room and immediately noticed that it was too dark for his comfort level. He made a handseal with a single hand and started to channel the chakra. As soon as he had some chakra built up, he started to bring the chakra all throughout his body. Then, he used the chakra and some light started to shine around him. It allowed him to see but, it was only a dim light. He'd smile softly as he knew this was enough light for him. Hakkaku [Coming to Light] E ranked Learned
Another handseal would be made soon after the first and with this chakra, Shi would start to channel the chakra into his other hand. His other hand was cradled like he was holding a ball and as he channeled chakra to it, a small ball of light started to form in his hand. The ball of light would slowly grow as it received that the chakra was coming to it. Shi would then raise his hand with the ball in his hand and throw it to the other side of the room. This ball lit up the room more and allowed him to see better. ”There we go.”Hikarubo [Glowstick] D Ranked Learned
Once again another handseal was being made. Shi then started to use the handseal to channel chakra all throughout his body. This jutsu in particular was going to require having the chakra all throughout his body. The chakra being used was Koton of course as this seemed to be the theme of his current training. As soon as the chakra had been channeled all throughout his body, Shi released it suddenly and this caused a bright light to appear all around his body for a slight moment. The next justu that he was going to try had the same basis as the last, however this time he had to use the chakra to move places as well. With this in mind, Shi started to channel the chakra throughout his body once again. The process was simple enough so he was able to do this in a matter of moments and as soon as he was done with the channeling, he began the next step. He released the chakra and it sent out a blinding light just like before but, this time he had also moved all the way a cross the room. Shi then turned his attention to a vase that was in the room. He decided that this would be a good thing to try his next jutsu on. A handseal was made and as soon as he had made it, he started to use his chakra to start manipulating the light around the vase. The light manipulation would continue on for some time until he had used the light to make the vase look much bigger than it had been previously. He'd smile softly then start to think about the next jutsu. Meimu [Fallacy] D ranked Learned
A handseal would be made like so many time before and Shi would start to channel the chakra throughout his entire body. This next jutsu would be tricky but, he had to make sure to do it just right. He molded the chakra inside himself to make it into a more dewy substance. After he had gone through the process to do this, he released the chakra and the dew like substance exploded out of his body to cover everything within the immediate distance of him. It was decided as he looked around that it was time for Shi to make his own clone now. He smiled softly and made a handseal. He then channeled chakra in front of him so that it was slowly making the clone. Shi made sure to watch this process carefully as to make sure he made the clone exactly to his specifications and to make sure it looked exactly like him. After a few moments he had made it look exactly as he wanted it. Then, the let it fade away. Hikari Bunshi [Light Clone]
The next justu that Shi had in mind would be useful in some way he just wasn't sure yet so he decided that he might as well do it. He rose his hand up and went to channeling chakra in front of him. This time he wasn't making himself. He was making an animal the size of him. It was a dragon but, a rather small one. The next jutsu was going to require him to split up the chakra that he channeled into small parts. He figured that this would be easy so he made another handseal and started the process. However, at the same time he rose his right hand up and made an open palm. He then started to channel the chakra to his hand and released it through his hand. The chakra then went throughout the room, passing through physical things such as the vase from earlier. They took the shape of small fire flies and he smiled softly as he got chakra signatures from small things like a couple rats. Keika [Light of the Firefly] C Ranked Learned
Shi looked around a bit and noticed a mirror in the room. This was a perfect thing to allow him to practice his next jutsu. He rose his hand and made a handseal again. Then, he started to use his chakra to make the light that was reflecting off the mirror to start to make it even stronger. A dummy was sitting in the corner and Shi had barely noticed it until now. He walked over and picked it up, he then set it up in the middle of the room so that it was standing. His hand than rose and made a handseal. Then, he started to channel his chakra to start summoning something. It wasn't apparent as to what he was summoning until a thousand senbon appeared above the dummy and all of them went and dug their way into it, some of them going straight through the dummy. Shi looked how bright the room had become because of all the jutsus he had used and decided that it was probably time for him to darken it a bit. He made a handseal and started to channel his chakra. With this chakra he started to change the light levels around him to a little darker. He continued to channel the chakra until the room was a more comfortable level for him. He smile gently as it got to the level he wanted and he began to start to get ready for the next jutsus. Hakkotai [Luminous Body] C ranked Learned
Shi decided that it wouldn't be a bad idea to have another type of clone as well. He made a handseal and started to channel the chakra in front of himself just like the time he had done before. However, this time he was using kuton chakra and this clone was a lot more wispy and strange really. He smiled gently and used a bit more chakra to change it up slightly to make sure it look a lot like him, even though it was intangible. His hand rose slightly and he started to channel chakra into his hand. He then started to mold this chakra into small wisp that was even hard for him to see. Once he was done making it, he placed it on his sword. This way his sword would be able to interact with Kuton chakra if need be. Taizenjijaku [Presence of Mind] E Ranked Learned
With the same hand from before, Shi started to use it to channel chakra all throughout his body. He smiled softly and once it had been coated all over his body, he released the chakra. Once it had been released he disappeared and reappeared back on the other side of the room where he had originally began. This made him smile slightly more. Another idea struck Shi's head. He decided to use the same concept that he had used earlier for one of the koton jutsus to a kuton jutsu. He made a handseal and started to channel chakra throughout his body. Then, once it had been channeled, he allowed the chakra to release throughout the area. As soon as it had, he got an idea of everything that was withing ten feet from him and how big it was. However, he didn't get their chakra signature which would be fine. The next jutsu that he would learn would be extremely useful against any hyuuga as it allowed him to reset his Tenketsu. So, with this in mind Shi made a handseal and started to channel the chakra to his other hand. Then, with the other hand he slowly started to cover his stomach with the kuton chakra that was being produced. Slowly after the kuton chakra had been spread on his stomach, it started to sink into his body. It had a tingly feeling to it but, he knew that he had done the jutsu correctly. With the same handseal from before, Shi started to channel more chakra into his hand. He then used his other hand to mold the chakra into a katana much like his that was currently sheathed. This jutsu's purpose was to mostly stop other chakra from being used and he knew that it would come in handy so, he continued to make the katana until it was completely made. The next jutsu that Shi had in mind had the same concept as the last so, he used the same handseal. He then moved his other hand into a handgun. He smiled gently as he channeled chakra to the hand and at the end a ball of kuton chakra started to be made. Then, as soon as it was a good size, the ball went flying off to the other side of the room. The ball then exploded but, it didn't do any physical damage. However, one of the koton jutsu's he had preformed was caught in the blast and it had instantly disappeared. Kudama [Void Bullet] C Ranked Learned
The next jutsu, Shi would be able to use to travel long distances without disruptions. He started to cover chakra all over his body. Soon after his body slowly started to turn into a mist of sorts. The mist then moved over to the other side of the room and he appeared from the mist. It was rather simple and it would be useful. Kuton: Shunshin [Void Release: Bodyflicker]

Damn!!!! that kid came in and did a sit ton of training really really quickly. Had he waited, he could have learned a thing or two from San. Checking his earpiece, San formed a single hand seal, and dissappeared.

Shi felt like doing more training, however he felt like having something to drink first. With that in mind he made a handseal with his left hand and turned into an ethereal mist that would then move through walls and other barriers towards the tea shop.

Kaori and Nova walked into the Academy to find it empty, which was nice. Kaori preferred the quiet after all. She looked at Nova and smiled, "So, ready to get some more training in?" She asked her partner. Nova nodded at Kaori and then padded into the center of the room and looked at Kaori.
Kaori smiled and started to look through the scrolls she'd brought with her. Futon, Dotan, and her family's scroll on her Kihakugan. "What to learn first..." She mumbled to herself as she walked over to Nova and sat with her, reading through the scrolls to try and decide what she wanted to learn first. She hummed thoughtfully as she ran her hand through Nova's pale fur. It took a little reading, but she finally decided to get some more Doton techniques under her proverbial belt.
She stood up and walked over to the corner of the room so that she had some space to work with. She briefly looked over the scroll one more time to memorize the instructions, then put it in her belt pouch to look at later and keep it safe. Once that was done Kaori concentrated her chakra and closed her eyes to better focus. Once she felt she had her chakra gathered to where it needed to be she made a hand sign and focused her chakra into the ground and created a mobile wall of mud and dirt. Kaori used her hands and made it move to her liking. [1/1]
Kaori, while still on top of the wall of mud and dirt, formed hand signs and pumped more chakra into the mud. It didn't take long before spears formed out of the mud around her in a rough circle. The spears started out as mud and dirt, but quickly hardened into stone with the infusion of Kaori's chakra into them. She picked up one of the spears and threw it through the air. She watched it sail through the air and impale one of the training dummies, right through the head. [1/1]
Kaori sighed and dismissed the two jutsu once she felt she had proper control over them. After the jutsu were dismissed Kaori looked at Nova, "Hey Nova, do me a favor and just move around, I want to try another jutsu, and this one should enable me to feel vibrations in the earth." She told her feline partner. Nova nodded and rumbled at her in agreement as she stood. Kaori nodded at Nova before she closed her eyes and kneeled to the ground and put her hands to it. Once she had done that she pressed her chakra into the ground and focused. Nova started bouncing around the room, from one place to another, left, right and center. It took a moment, but Kaori was finally able to filter the proper amount of chakra into the ground so that she could pick up the vibrations in the ground that Nova was creating. [1/1]
Kaori grabbed the Doton scroll from her belt pouch for a moment and read the next jutsu she had mentally marked as one she wanted to learn. She read the instructions one more time before she put the scroll back and gathered her chakra once more before she slammed her palms into the ground and forced her chakra into the ground like a shot. This caused the ground ahead of the small Chunnin to split and crumble. [1/1]
Kaori stood back up and surveyed the damage she'd caused and winced, she would have to clean this up, but it was definitely a successful training session. "What do you think Nova?" She asked with a smile as she looked at the large tiger. Nova roared her approval; which made Kaori laugh in delight, "Well, thank you!"

Kaori sat down with Nova once more and started to read through her Doton scroll once more to pick out several more jutsu to learn. She wanted at least four more to kind of round her Doton techniques out, then she would start working more on her Kihakugan.
Kaori looked over at Nova, “You might want to move, this is a ranged technique Nova.” Nova grumbled, but got up and moved over to one of the windows and lounged in the beam of sunlight like an overgrown house cat. Kaori shook her head, which caused some of her hair to fall out of it’s intricate looped braid. She just blew the strands out of her face and closed her eyes to concentrate. She focused her chakra into her feet and hands before she jumped up and then slammed back into the ground and sent the gathered chakra out into the ground. This created a massive shockwave throughout the room and lifted the flooring in several places. Kaori blinked and then smiled, she was learning things faster now. That was good. She’d be more useful on the field. [1/1]
Kaori surveyed the damage she’d caused and noticed that there was now a ton of sand, and it gave her ideas on what jutsu to learn, now that she had sand readily at her disposal inside. She smirked slightly and looked over at the still, if only barely, standing training dummies and then back at the sand on the ground. Time to try out a few more Doton jutsu. She closed her pale purple eyes and focused her chakra around her and into the sand. Once she had enough chakra in the sand she moved her hands, almost as if she were dancing; though that was clearly more Aika’s talent than her own, which caused the sand to move and hover in the air for a moment before she directed the sand to hurtle toward the dummy. It hit three of them, the projectiles decapitated one, cleaved another in half at the torso, and took the arm off of the last dummy. Kaori was viciously pleased with the results. [1/1]
She gathered the sand back up with her chakra and focused in on yet another dummy, since she wasn’t going to use Nova as a guinea pig and there were no actual enemies to fight here, it would have to do. Kaori formed a single hand sign and pushed more chakra into the sand, it moved sluggishly at first, but quickly gained speed once Kaori regulated the amount of chakra she was using. The sand wrapped around the base of the dummy, where a living person’s feet would be, and rapidly moved up it’s body and squeezed it like a constrictor, splintering the wood enough that, when Kaori released the jutsu, it was obvious that a living person would be suffering from several broken bones, if not all out dead. Kaori took a deep breath and focused her gaze, and chakra, on the sand around her, once she felt she had a good grip over the sand she made a single hand sign, and watched as the sand rose from the ground and hovered in the air for a moment. Once she had complete control over the floating sand she jumped up onto one of the ‘clouds’ of sand and rested on it. She smirked, “Nova,” She said, “Jump up onto that sand cloud for me, I want to make sure I can support you on one of these as well.” After all, it was pretty pointless if she couldn’t get her her partner, and any other shinobi, out of harms way if needed. Nova jumped up and landed silently on the sand cloud next to Kaori’s, then let out a roar of triumph, since Kaori was fairly silent with her joy at a jutsu learned. [1/1]

Kaori looked at Nova and smiled, “Think I should get a few more Fuuton in before I start working on my kihakugan?” She asked her partner. She really wished she could properly communicate with Nova, perhaps she could ask Ayame and Daichi for help with that once she was done training her jutsu for the day. She and Nova were close, but they could still grow closer as a fighting pair. Nova nodded her large furry head and rumbled as she dropped down from the floating sand at the same time that Kaori did. Once they were both safely on the ground Kaori dismissed the jutsu and watched the sand fall to the floor once more.
Once on the floor Kaori took out her fuuton scroll and read through it for a moment before she decided on what she wanted to learn. Once she’d decided on three she put it away and took a deep breath, “This is going to get windy Nova, brace yourself my friend.” She told the large tiger with a smile. Nova grumbled, but hunkered down in preparation. Once Kaori was sure Nova would be okay she mentally went through the instructions for the first jutsu. Kaori brought one hand to her mouth as she focused her chakra into her lungs, or more accurately into the air in her lungs. Once she couldn’t breathe in anymore, she exhaled the air in a steady, powerful, stream that caused all the sand to form into a sandstorm in the room. Kaori dismissed the jutsu and smiled. [1/1]
Kaori took a deep breath and smiled as she formed a couple of hand signs, and then exhaled air and chakra that quickly formed a massive, transparent, chinese dragon. Despite it being transparent, however, there was still some color to it, barely discernable, it’s mane was a transparent red, while it’s body was a transparent blue. The dragon opened it’s mouth and released a powerful blast of air that was concussive in force. After two more blasts of air the dragon dispersed back into regular air. [1/1]
Kaori formed a hand sign, then drew air from around her and formed it into a ball beneath her feet. She stood on it and smiled as she zoomed around the room at high speeds, just as fast as when Nova carried her anywhere. This would be a useful jutsu on the field. She used her hands and feet to direct the spinning ball of air around the room and up the walls, since it was moving so fast it was actually possible. After a few moments of gaining complete control over the rotating wind she dismissed the jutsu and jumped back down to the floor. [1/1]
“That was a successful venture.” Kaori commented to Nova, who was grumbling in her corner and grooming herself. The wind had made a mess of her tabby fur. Kaori laughed, “Oops, sorry Nova!”

Kaori looked around the room, that she’d made quite the mess of she noticed with chagrin, and bit her lip, “Nova, when we head home, remind me to get the terrarium from mom and dad’s room, I think it’s time that I start carrying that with me at all times, since it has a ton of flowers in it, and I’ll need that for my Kihakugan.” Nova rumbled and nodded her large head in understanding and acknowledgment. She looked at her family’s Kihakugan scroll and hummed as she thought about what to learn this time.
Kaori put the scroll away and nodded to herself as she began to focus on her chakra once more. The silver energy began to swirl around her in it’s usual spiral as she focused and molded it to her liking. It took several long moments, nearly heart stopping in how nerve wracking it was, before her silver chakra formed a hundred silver petals. Kaori beamed, this would help if she didn’t have flowers with her, she could use these chakra-petals in place of natural flowers for her other jutsu. [1/1]
Once she released that jutsu she smiled and decided to try another. She focused more of her chakra together and molded it into an even larger amount of petals. The amount of silvery chakra-petals jumped from a simple hundred to 1600. Now she could do even more powerful jutsu that required more petals/flowers to use. [1/1]
Kaori walked over and opened a window before she turned and surveyed the room, still filled with her chakra-petals, and nodded to herself before she formed a single hand sign and watched as the petals moved and floated through the room and even out the window. Nova jumped around and butted against Kaori lightly before she settled down at her feet and rumbled happily, the tiger equivalent of purring. After a few moments several desert birds and mammals came in through the window and settled around and on Nova and Kaori. They were chirping and making other little sounds of happiness and contentment. [1/1]
Kaori noticed that there were several animals, and flowers, farther out, and decided on her next jutsu to learn. She closed her eyes and focused her chakra into her voice and started singing. Her voice, and thus her chakra, moved out the window and on the air out to the other flowers, casting her jutsu over the natural flowers and expanding her influence that much farther out. More birds and other animals all flocked to her and Nova. [1/1]
Kaori frowned slightly as she tried to figure who to practice her next jutsu on, she didn’t want to do this Nova, but that really only left the smaller animals surrounding them, and she really didn’t want to hurt them either. She sighed and frowned as she tried to think, but really, the only and best option was to practice on the myriad of animals surrounding her and Nova at the moment. Kaori took a deep breath and concentrated on her chakra-petals once more, she brought them in from outside, several natural petals coming with the chakra-petals, and made them swirl around a few of the smaller birds on the outskirts of the group of animals surrounding Nova. She focused her chakra, and her own emotives, and worked on creating the feeling of being drowned. It took a few moments, but the little birds started thrashing like they were trying to swim, for all that they weren’t built for swimming. After a few moments she let the jutsu drop, and the birds fled. [1/1]
Kaori took a deep breath and shook her head as she looked at the other little creatures around Nova and frowned, no helping it really, she supposed. She gathered her chakra petals one last time and did the appropriate hand sign before she pushed the petals around the animals, all but Nova, and watched as all emotion seemed to fade from their little eyes. For several long minutes she kept the jutsu active, so that she could be sure it was really working on the little critters. It wasn’t until three of them fainted, honestly fainted, that she released the jutsu. [1/1]

Theodin walked into the academy, and found the room where Kaori was training. "Wow, looks like you two have had fun." he said, noticing all the stuff blown around and busted up from their training. He then walked over to the shelf and started looking through scrolls. He grabbed ones for Raiton, Fuuton, Suiton, Hyouton, Maruton, and Ranton and sat down on the side of the room to read through them, but first he decided to do some meditation and get his chakra flowing smoothly. He sat down against the wall and folded his legs. Closing his eyes, theodin concentrated on his chakra flow, speedingit up to about double its usual rate, he started practicing his handsigns, muttering their names as he did them "Tori.....I.........Inu....." he then brought his chakra to settle in his stomach. Getting his chakra flowing again, spe got it back to double speed and continued "Tatsu..........Ushi..........Tora.........."He finally brought his chakra to setle again in his heart. (2/4)
Restarting his chakra flow again theodin split his chakra in half and got it to cycle in opposite directions. He continued with the handsigns "Mi........Ne.......Umi,,,,,,,,,:" He then brought all the chakra to settle in his forehead. (3/4)
Concentrating even harder, Theodin finally managed to split his chakra into all 3 natures and cycle them separately. He continued the handsigns "....Saru.....U......Hitsuji..." He then sent a different nature chakra to each hand and the third to settle in his stomach. (4/4)
Theodin stood up to stretch his legs for a second, then sat back down against the wall and folded his legs. Closing his eyes, theodin concentrated on his chakra flow, speeding it up to about triple its usual rate, he started practicing his handsigns, muttering their names as he did them "Tori.....I.........Inu....." he then brought his chakra to settle in his stomach. Restarting his chakra flow again theodin split his chakra in half and got it to cycle in opposite directions. He continued with the handsigns "Mi........Ne.......Umi,,,,,,,,,:" He then brought all the chakra to settle in his forehead. (3/4)
Concentrating even harder, Theodin managed to split his chakra into all 3 natures again and cycle them separately. He continued the handsigns "....Saru.....U......Hitsuji..." He then sent a different nature chakra to each hand and the third to settle in his stomach. (4/4)
Standing up, Theodin stretched his limbs back out and walked to a dummy. He charged his hands and feet with lightning chakra and threw a few punches and kicks and watched as he left small burns on the dummy. (1/3)
He then jumped back and forms a quick handign. He reared his head back and spat a huge bullet of water at the dummy that crashed into its chest with a thud. (2/3)

The chuunin then held his right hand out towards the dummy and formed a seal with his left. A stream of black clouds shot from his hand, encasing the dummy. A few seconds later, he heard a quick zap and smelled burning wood. (2/3)

Theodin walked over to his big pile of scrolls and picked up the fuuton one. reading through it a little, he found two jutsus that he could train quickly and decided to warm up with those. He began focusing wind chakra throughout his body. With a quick handsign, he released the jutsu. Suddenly he felt the air pressure in the room drop dramatically. He ended the jutsu to let the room repressurize. (1/1)

Theodin stopped to take a breath to calm his nerves. When was no longer afraid of the pain, he performed the handsigns again, focusing his chakra. When the pocket formed around his head, he cringed as he felt his ears pop and it felt like his head was going to explode. He ended the jutsu after only 2 or 3 seconds. (3/3)

The newly promoted chuunin read through the fuuton scroll some more and found the jutsu San had told him about before, flight. he memorized the handsigns and put the scroll down. He focused his chakra throughout his body, and performed the handsign. He felt his body try to rise, but didn't get off the ground. (1/3)
Trying again, Theodin concentrated chakra throughout his body, with slightly more in the soles of his feet. He formed the handsign and began rising into the air. A couple inches off the ground the jutsu failed and he fell back to his feet. (2/3)
Feeling like he almost had it, Theodin spread his chakra out more, and concentrated more of it into his feet. He formed the handsign and rose into the air. This time the jutsu held and theodin was able to rise and descend at will, as well as fly around....so he decided to have some fun. The next thing anyone would see was him zooming around the room about 8 feet off the ground shouting "WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" like an idiot. After a couple minutes, he stopped and landed, laughing at himself, "That was fun!" he said to himself. (3/3)

He would need a mirror for this one, so he pulled water from the air to make a flat piece of ice to lean against the wall like a mirror. He focused his chakra throughout his body. He ran through the series of handsigns as he focused on the light in the room bending around him. He released the chakra and looked in the mirror to see that he was still visible, completely. (1/5)
