The Uni-Corps assault mechs all turned to gaze up and out over the plateau's edge as Selene confiscated their firearms and made her declaration, the point guard mech pilot opening his com link with his comrades as the machine detached a pair of phase hilts from it's waist, "Rear guard, swat that fly out of the air! The rest of you on me, we're going in hot!", the Soldat piloting the front most machine commanded over his com channel, the phase hilts in the machine's hands forming crackling energy blades as the rest of the assault mechs follow suit. Half of the assault squad engaged their thrusters as their phaseblades crackled to life, soaring like a swarm of enraged hornets at Selene from multiple angles while the other half used their boosters to skate along the surface of the plateau towards the city gate with haste. As the divided assault battalion encroached on Selene's proximity, Beta's hex-beams made contact with her biotic force field, the six supercharged rays converging on a single point to send turbulent ripples across the surface of the protective barrier before bursting it like a bubble as the hex-beams then moved in to strike Selene as she turned her attention to the Uni-Corps. Firin held out his hands within the pilot's seat of the commander's mech, a holo console springing up beneath his fingertips as the supernatural frost formed by Noxx'Zus shadow noose flaked off of the machine's visual sensors. The Templar Captain keyed in the activation codes for the Uni-Corps model mech, gripping the arm controls while working the legs with his feet as the enhanced assault machine stood with flaring blue embers radiating out from it's electronic eyes, "All systems green. Time for the fireworks.", Firin said aloud to himself with a confident smirk, as the mech's visual monitor began to paint the airborne Uni-Corps assault mechs with red targeting reticles. The shoulder mounted mortar pods built into the upgraded assault machine started to angle themselves as Firin engaged the mech's artillery, swarms of pulsing orange Irok'Cael shells thumping out of the firing housing and arcing through the air on a direct course for the swarm of airborne mechs. As one of the Uni-Corps assault machines put it's boosters in overdrive to shoot at Selene with phaseblades angled to strike, Firin's mortar shots slammed into the underside of the machine and sunk deep into the armor plating as the orange glow began to pulse rapidly before detonating in a hellish firestorm that devastated the charging mech.

The airborne Aegalorean convoy soared high in the air halfway between Bel'tha'go and Selene's home, the colossal vertibird airship taking up the center as the Marshal's chopper fleet swarmed around the flagship. "Marshal Stadt! The UAV is detecting activity to the north.", one of the technicians working the terminals called out. The Aegalorean Marshal sat comfortably in his command chair, wearing a calm smile as he looked down to the front row of technicians, "Put it on screen.", he said casually. "Aye, sir.", the technician responded before bringing the UAV's tactical topographical map on the command bridge's main display monitor, many red blips appeared to be swarming over a rocky plateau as bursts of unknown energy signatures began to appear every so often around a massive unknown target in the center of the swarms, "Intriguing, it looks like a warzone. Those bursts, what does the long range scanners have on those energy expulsions?", Marshal Stadt questioned, arching an eyebrow with interest. The technicians typed away at their consoles, attempting to pull any intel from the long range scanner readout, "I'm sorry, Marshal, but the energy signature is unknown. There are electrical pulses around most of the targets, with the exception of those inside that large structure on the plateau, but I can't find any matching energy outputs on file. It must be a city, and it looks like they're under siege.", one of the middle row technicians reported. Marshal Stadt's smile widened some, as the Aegalorean stood from his command chair, "Alright, that's all I needed to hear. Her majesty has entrusted us to reopen relations with the citizens of this land, and pulling their collective asses out of the fire might just do the trick. Set course for that plateau and ready the choppers for a strafe assault. Oh, and bring the Transcendent Justice's underside railguns online.", the Marshal ordered, looking upon the UAV's map readout with his sky blue eyes, "Aye, sir!", the technicians responded together, the enormous vertibird changing course to begin flying north towards the commotion as the chopper fleet flies out ahead of the flagship in strafe formation.

Beta's hex-beams pushed against Selene's biotic attacks, the force of the biotics pushing through the focused energy rays into the U.O.W.'s proximity. Beta angled it's cybernetic head to deflect the energy wave away with it's reflective Caelium armoring at the cost of it's upper left eye, the electronic visual sensor shattering from the force behind Selene's biotic attack. Beta let out a bloodcurdling screech as it scuttled through the military camp, it's hydraulic insectoid legs ripping and tearing through the tents as the U.O.W. neared the cliff face. A sharp ringing filled the air as Beta slammed it's scythblade claws into the rocky cliff wall, latching on and climbing up the vertical incline line a spider as metallic hisses poured from it's bladed maw. As the enraged U.O.W. scaled the cliff wall in pursuit of Selene, a puff of black smoke burst forth further up the cliff wall as Noxx'Zus appeared from the dark mist in a freefall towards Beta, "Shadow Hand style...Five Shadow...Creeping Ice...Enervation Strike!", the ex-Sheikh vocalized loudly as he clapped his hands together, black frost forming on the tips of his clawed gauntlets as the Steward reared his arm back in his descent towards the rampaging U.O.W. Noxx'Zus landed hard on his feet atop Beta's armor plated head as he thrust his hand through the armor plating between Beta's electronic eyes, the force behind the strike putting a cracking dent in the Caelium plating as black frost began to radiate out from the point of impact. The black ice crept over the U.O.W.'s cybernetic body, blue-green sparks flying from the monstrous armored Ss'Kul'Kyn's motorized joints as the black frost encased Beta's hydraulic enhanced limbs in a sheet of shadow infused ice. As the U.O.W. lost it's grip on the cliff wall, plummeting to the ground below, Noxx'Zus backflipped off of the rampaging machine to disappear in a cloud of black smoke, reappearing atop the plateau to look down as Beta struggled to free itself from it's dark icy prison, "Firin! Now's your chance! GO!", the Steward called down to the Captain's mech, looking up as assault mechs sped through the air just overhead towards who he could now see was Selene. Firin heard the Steward's call as he saw the U.O.W. plummet from the cliff wall as black ice began creeping over it's cybernetic body, engaging the mech's boosters to soar into the air like a rocket while unleashing a second salvo of Irok'Cael mortar shells into the air ahead of him. The swarm of timed shells arced wildly through the air, several colliding with the Uni-Corps mechs moving to engage Selene, the pulsing crystalline shells detonating into thundering explosions upon impact, while the rest fired high to arc back down and carpet bomb the assault machines making their way to the Gate. Firin's mech gripped it's phase hilts with each hand, the phaseblades exploding to life as the Templar Captain engaged the mech's booster overdrive, soaring like a shooting star high into the air.

More of the airborne assault mechs were reduced to crumbled heaps of metal, the crushed machines plummeting from the sky to the ground as their collective cores filled the military camp with blue flames and rolling black smoke. Seeing the airborne mechs fall to the ground, the rifle bearing machines leveled their high velocity firearms at Selene, unloading a storm of EnNull rounds at the powerful biotic while dashing around the edge of the military camp to make themselves more difficult to pin down. Firin dashed around the second detachment of Uni-Corps mechs, standing between them and the gates as his mech held it's phaseblades out to the sides ready to strike on any pilot that comes near, "Turn around and go, or suffer the same fate as your comrades!", the Captain shouted over his mech's audio amplifier, raising his left phaseblade to level the crackling energy blade with the squad of assault machines facing him while holding the right phaseblade underhanded behind his mech's back. The squad of Uni-Corps assault machines atop the plateau hesitated before an earpiercing screech resonated from the foot of the plateau, the ice encasing the U.O.W. beginning to crack as Beta forced it's scytheblade claws through it's frost prison as superheated plasma roared from the vents along it's serrated appendages to begin melting the dark ice. As the U.O.W. bellowed out another enraged screech, the squad of Uni-Corps mechs slowly encircled the lone Captain, their phaseblades poised to strike as they neared, "Just how long do you think you can hold out? Even if you stop us, Beta will rip you apart! Do you really think we're the only threat? The Colonel is on his way with his super weapon that makes Beta look like a child's play thing! Just surrender and we'll make this relatively painless!", one of the Uni-Corps Soldats shouted back, a loud crack echoing through the air as Beta shattered the black ice covering it's armored body. Firin growled to himself, looking through the mech's electronic visuals as the squad of nearly 30 assault machines neared his proximity, "Damnit...", the Captain cursed, taking a step back as he tried to think of a backup plan. As Beta dug it's claws into the cliffside, it's five remaining eyes flaring bright green to fire five of it's six hex-beams at Selene while it scuttled up the side of the plateau with enraged vigor, the distant sound of helicopter blades cutting the air echoed across the sands, a multitude of black dots appeared on the horizon followed by an enormous black vertibird airship bringing up the rear.

Firin watched in awe from his confiscated Uni-Corps ManaMech as the encroaching assault machines began to collapse into themselves, multiple core explosions encircling him and Selene in blue flames expelling jet black smoke, "By Shar...", he muttered as he looked to Selene through the mech's visual display, speechless by her immense power. Firin turned his assault mech to look to the plateau's edge as a shrill ear piercing screech filled the air, the U.O.W. Beta digging it's sharp scytheclaws into cliff's edge to haul it's enormous frame up as it scuttled onto the plateau on hydraulic enhanced insectoid limbs. Beta let out an aggravated hiss, a cloud of plasma mist escaping the U.O.W.'s interlocked mandibles as it's five remaining eyes flashed bright green before the monstrous cybernetic Ss'Kul'Kyn fired it's hex-beams full force on Selene, the five charged ion beams converging on her center of mass. Firin shielded his eyes as the blinding light from the hex-beams faded from his visual display, engaging the mech's propulsion thrusters to skate across the plateau with phaseblades held out poised to strike the mechanized abomination. As the Templar Captain neared the Caelium plated U.O.W., the cybernetic beast disengaged it's hex-beams as it turned it's attention to Firin, superheated plasma oozing from the vents along it's forelimbs to coat it's scytheblade claws before rearing up on it's hydraulic legs to tower over the Captain's mech. Firin closed the distance to Beta as the armored U.O.W. brought it's plasma coated claws up, raising it's right to slice down while holding back it's left in preparation as Firin evaded the initial downstrike, the Captain bringing his phaseblades up to catch the cybernetic Ss'Kul'Kyn's followup strike with it's readied claw. The force of Beta's swipe sent the Templar Captain's assault mech sliding on it's jets into the rocky canyon walls of the plateau's main atrium, the impact dislodging loose boulders down onto Firin's mech as the enraged U.O.W. turned back to Selene and opened it's razor fanged maw as the armored beasts' ion charged plasma cannon began to charge, glowing green energy gathering into a condensed orb within Beta's throat.

The swarm of Aegalorean attack choppers began to split into two groups as the battle torn plateau came into view, one group flying to the left and the other right. The two teams of attack helicopters began to descend into assault range as the Uni-Corps rifle mech's turned to investigate the incoming warning signals on their displays, the two swarms of choppers unloading streams of ballistic fire from the heavy turrets in their side bay to force the Uni-Corps to take evasive maneuvers. As the Aegalorean helicopters strafed the rifle mech's, the massive vertibird flagship 'Transcendent Justice' cut through the middle on a direct course for the plateau. The Marshal stood before the main display on the bridge of the vertibird, inspecting the mechanized war machine displayed on his monitor, "Status?", he said aloud, addressing the ship's technicians. "Main Railgun charged and ready, sir. Awaiting firing order.", one of the vertibird's operators relayed. The Marshal cracked a confident grin as he pointed to the cybernetic monster on the plateau's edge, "Target that 'thing' and fire when ready.", he stated with command. The main railgun on the vertibird's underside lowered on it's mounted turret to put the U.O.W. into it's firing sights as the whirring of the cannon's electromagnetic current gave way to a powerful blast, the heavy projectile shooting through the air at intense velocity to punch straight through the U.O.W. reinforced armor plating down through the back of it's 'carapace' and out through it's chest. Beta let out a shrill shriek as the railgun punched through it's body, sparks and glowing green plasma dripping from the opening as it collapsed onto it's scytheblade claws, holding it's head up long enough to fire it's ion cannon at Selene.

Beta's ion cannon collapsed into itself within the critically damaged U.O.W.'s throat, an earsplitting shriek ringing through the air as the ion cannon overloaded violently within Beta's gullet. The damaged U.O.W. hissed sharply, sizzling green plasma dripping from it's decimated mandibles as electro-arcane sparks poured from the breach in it's armored shell, the Caelium plated Ss'Kul'Kyn collapsing as it's five glowing eyes go dark. Ballistic fire rained down from the sky over the rifle mechs in the military camp, one of the pilots gesturing with his mech's arm to retreat as his assault machine's boosters flared brightly, taking to the sky followed by the remaining Uni-Corps. As the Uni-Corps Soldat's attempted to flee, the two groups of Aegalorean attack choppers changed their course to spear inward on the Uni-Corps escape route, the armored black helicopters unleashing their Hellfire missiles from their wing mounted pods as the remaining contingent of Uni-Corps rifle mechs soared through the space between the two airborne chopper squads. The missiles locked onto the fleeing mechs' heat signature, flying after them in hot pursuit as some of the rearmost assault machines were caught in the hellish incendiary explosions of the missile storm. Firin shook off the minor concussion from his impact with the canyon walls, his mech's visual display flickering in and out as the roaring sound of chopper blades echoed across the plateau's surface, the Aegalorean vertibird airship hovering just off the edge of the plateau, sending intense gusts from the whirling chopper blades at the ends of it's wings down the side of the plateau to kick up sand within the military camp below. The airship spun in the air to back it's tail end up to the cliff's edge, a ramp to the ship's cargo hold lowering to form a walkway from the hovering vertibird to the plateau's main atrium as twin lines of soldiers wearing modern style ballistic vests and black helmets with built in resperators, the Aegalorean shield and crown emblazoned on their uniform sleeves marched down the airship's ramp while forming organized squads as they disembark their vertibird at the flanks of the ramp to form a pathway as a single set of footsteps echoed on the metal plated floors within the airship. A man strode down the ramp with his hands at his sides, his red trimmed black military formals bearing the Aegalorean shield and crown over his heart, the Aegalorean soldiers raising their left hand to their foreheads in salute as the man set foot on the plateau, his red tinted anti-ballistic TAC-visor glowing softly as he surveyed the damage with his clear blue eyes.

The Marshal walked out further onto the plateau, the Aegalorean soldiers closing ranks behind him as he stopped several yards away from Selene. The Aegaloreans' commander looked at Selene through his soft glowing TAC-visor, a wireframe of the biotic appearing on his display as the Aegalorean tech sized up her energy output. A green bar appeared on the left edge of the Marshal's TAC-visor, extending across the top of the anti-ballistic visor's singular lense while slowly turning red as it reached the opposite edge. The Marshal disengaged the energy readout as it just kept rising, the man turning his clear blue gaze to the wrecked U.O.W., looking over his shoulder to the lines of Aegalorean riot officers as he held his left arm out to point at the wreckage. Without regard for the powerful biotic, the battalion to the Marshal's left of the vertibird cargo ramp saluted in unison, turning with their assault carbines in hand and jogging to the scene of the wreckage as the Aegalorean Marshal looked back to Selene, "It would seem Her Majesty was right in sending us here, not that I had any doubts. This rightful Aegalorean land is rife war and troubles. In a way, we come in peace under Her Majesty, the Queen's, order to attempt a diplomatic negotiation for this land on which we stand, but I can see there are greater problems. Therefore, my Riot Squads and I will be present to offer aid to those who wish a peaceful resolution to these conflicts while snuffing out those who only wish chaos.", the Marshal said, bowing low before looking to Selene with a calm smile, "Allow me to introduce myself, Marshal Luka Stadt, commander of the Aegalorean Military Police and our vertibird airship, 'Transcendent Justice', and to whom do I have the honor of addressing?", the Aegalorean Marshal asked with a polite yet authoritative voice.
