Rightly pleased with the young Hojo's acceptance of every word he said Toso looked blankly out to the distant road and then to the horizon. It would eventually lead to an exasperated sigh followed by one of tentacle limbs inserting itself partially in his ear like a q tip producing a squeak squeak. "Well it seems like nobody's coming that's a real bother. Bloop." At the peak of squeaks a female anbu poofed into existence. Toso tentacle would recoil as if he were embarrassed but really it was simply out of respect. "Ahhh you've grown quite a lot since I've last seen you Bloop." Seemed Toso knew this busty anbu to some degree before she placed her hands on his lips shoving a piece of paper into his chest. "Can it Squid" with a sassy remark the Anbu departed as if having some sort of anticipation that Toso was plotting something.

The paper was an envelope, within the envelope was a missive, following the missive was a reward of a thousand ryo for past commendable actions and they a new roster of squadlings. Here we go again. It seemed aminsitration when it came to squads was always rather disheveled with people bouncing back and forth. Using a tentacle to readjust his glasses. He'd take note of the name "Ara and Liori." He then began to laugh "Well now bloop bloop bloop. What a convenient turn of events." Toso would turn the missive around and point to Ara's name. "It seems we won't be parting ways so soon. You've been reassigned into my custody bloop. A sensitive mission already. It must be the Shimizu blessing of luck granted by hanging out with a cool and attractive Endai such as myself."

Toso would then look to the allowance he had been given. He then looked to his own personal funds as he essentially created a fan of bills. It would be believed even distribution of two thousand ryo amongst a squad of three was problematic but taking into account how well of he was it seemed only the most honorable thing to do was to split it evenly at one thousand for Ara and one thousand for Liori should she show up. Toso would then provide Ara. With a small collection of one hundred ryo bills totaling a thousand. "Bloop here you are. Now we're going on a stealth mission. The store is behind us. So bloop, let's head inside feel free to buy whatever you feel integral to the mission." *1000 Ryo Allowance Transferred to Ara*

After the surprise of revealing her squid sensei was actually in all respects going to be here actual squid sensei Toso would nonchalantly enter the establishment. Then, as if he had a fully trained knowledge of everything in the facility he began to stretch his arms all about without moving from the front desk at all as the clerk would stare with an awkward bead of sweat as he began placing things on the table in a completely natural manner. He would then also remove his glasses. "Bloop Ah, perhaps you could modify my glasses in a way to augment my vision to a degree." Awkwardly the man replied. "Uh er yeah we have night vision lenses, I mean I can't put a telescopic lens on these or anything, but I mean I even got.." the man whispered "x-ray" "Bloop ah, well...I'll take whatever lenses you have that don't require color spectrums if that's all right Bloop."

With his purchase of lenses that he could interchange with his glasses Toso would then look to Ara who may or not have been browsing. "Ara-chan. This isn't a requirement but it would be rather thoughtful for you to invest in a communicator." Toso would say as he put in an order for a single communicator. He figured the girl would make the right decision and buy one if she saw him do so..and perhaps not spend it all on sweets or something similar. "Oh an this." Toso would unzip his coat and place it on the counter revealing he was wearing layered thermals beneath his poofy person. "Mayhaps you could make it more convenient for me to access objects." The coat was already covered in inside pockets but it made sense with so many pockets it would have been easy for things to get disorganized. The clerk merely nodded as he took it in the back to someone briefly before returning to the counter to see Toso had removed his shoes and placed them on the counter. "These to bloop. I want them to be as quiet as possible." Sure being barefoot would produce the same effect to a degree but one could never be too careful about floor hazards. So essentially the man was half naked before he placed two books on the table. Although something stood out on his person now. A belt and two brushes holstered. The belt containing many loops each which contained phials of ink of different colors.

Suddenly, a masked ANBU member of Kumogakure appeared before the two of them! Ara silently watched as the older Hojo member greeted the female ANBU and then proceeded to compliment her about her growth. Did he know this woman, or was it one of his many greetings and such. Possibly another Hojo rite of passage he was demonstrating for her to learn about. Whatever the case, she shushed him up and handed him a single piece of paper before going on her way. She seemed to have recognized Toso from somewhere by her frustration and lack of patience, though she had no idea where. He took a single moment to glance over the paper given to him before showing her that she had apparently been moved to his squad. Her eyes lit up with elation, Ara smiled widely as she viewed this as another opportunity to learn more about her clan from Toso as he explained that it may have been luck of the Endai. Thankfully he was as wise and gifted as he appeared, the naive squidling ready to go for her first mission. Before that though, she handed her some money and away the two hurried into the small store, Ara immediately going to find some useful stuff she could buy for the mission while Toso-kun went and got his glasses all shiny and improved.

Just as she was about to ask what she should think of buying, Toso instructed her on a recommended purchase, being a communicator of some sorts. "Doi you think they would ever sell that in an armor and clothes shop, Toso-kun? That would be pretty dumb." She said, receiving a boot to the head thrown at her by the old man nearby. She winced in pain before hurrying to the counter beside Toso to shelter her from stuff being thrown her way. Some people just couldn't take a little criticism. "Alright! I'll buy the communicator! Just don't throw any more boots at me, please." She asked before going to look for whatever else she could find and buy with her leftover money. Seeing as it was a stealth mission, something to lessen the noise made while moving around definitely could help. "Oh, and something to keep quiet out there too." A weird thing for a girl to say about wanting soles that would muffle noises made, being that she didn't wear them in the first place, but don't mind that! Maybe it was a special Shimizu anklet with magical powers! After putting in her order, she threw off her top, revealing a white undershirt beneath in case it was torn off or something. While Ara was careless, she had her limits about exposing herself to everyone. She handed it besides Toso's stuff and gave a thumbs up to the half nude man alongside her. She didn't see anything wrong or weird with what he was doing, figuring that everyone did this when outfitting their clothing with cool stuff. Another person seemed to join alongside the two, greeting Toso and complimenting on his abs. Ara couldn't resist but sneak a peak at his current stature, grinning as she did have to agree it was pretty fit. Hopefully she could be as strong, tall, and cool as Toso-kun is. The white haired girl then made a jab at Ara and Toso, the joke flying clear over the small girl's head. "But you're not stealing anything, Toso-kun. What're you gunna do with a cradle anyway?" She asked, facing the man while wondering when their stuff would be ready.

The comment about cradles much like it had for Ara had gone over Toso's head. Or so it seemed with his tone of voice. "I wouldn't know Ara bloop. Unless Liori-chan here owns an offshore cradle peddling operation I feel the market for cradles wouldn't be a lucrative one bloop. If I were to abscond with anything I would at least make sure it was worth the value of the risked theft. Bloop. Of course I'm no thief." The clerk looked with skeptical eyes before accepting the boys money. His glasses were modified accordingly and the lenses to be fitted into them were provided in a small carrying case for each. However, the rest of his request would take just a little more time. Using his extra extremities he'd use them to point. "Ara, Liori, Liori Ara. Bloop. Why not take this time to get to know each other. " Toso would then provide Liori with the rest of the enveloped contents in a friendly manner as he sang a few praises. "Liori here is an artist not unlike myself bloop. Rather than sticking to two dimensions like myself she sculpts her works in the third. It does my heart good to know that those substituting my former squad are an artist and young squid." ~1000 Ryo transferred to Liori~

Toso would then take a seat on the nearest barren shelving as he waited for the rest of the augmentations to his equipment. Recalling the humorous event of Ara's nearly being incapacitated by a boot created a visible smile. Time ticked away. This stealth mission still had one prior requisite after this shopping was done and that was establishing whether or not this squad even had the capacity to be stealthy. Toso had ideas for Ara as the two essentially could relate with one another. Liori however, was a mystery. Bakuton. Even their name carried the weight of Explosive behind it. Last Toso recalled explosives weren't all that stealthy. Although he didn't doubt the creativity of an artist. "Do I need to fill you in on the mission Liori Bloop? Or have you already been provided that information Bloop?

Ara looked back towards Liori with a confused face before simply watching as Toso went ahead and began to talk about the value of what a cradle would be worth. It seemed pretty underwhelming to say the least. Whatever the meaning of the joke was, it was clearly lost upon the poor squidling. Still, Ara greeted Liori with a wave before being bored while waiting for her stuff to be finished. "Heya!~ I'm a Hojo thing like Toso. He's super cool, but I'll never be like him one day. Ika~" They didn't say when it would be ready, but something told the child that is was not as simple as she thought it would be. Young Ara sighed and sat along with Toso, listening to the white haired female discuss about various things. In the meantime, Ara seemed busy rolling around on the ground some as she impatiently did things to keep her mind off waiting for the equipment. This went from rolling around, to pacing, to doing weird stuff with ink and such. All while Liori was busy talking with Toso. Eventually, a thought came to Ara's mind. One that she would need to do immediately under Toso's guidance. "Omigod! I forgot! Ika~" She turned to face the other woman before running straight at her, launching herself towards the woman, her hands stretching into a cup shape while she aimed them toward's Liori's breasts. It was the Shimizu greeting, if her memory served well enough. She would have to ask Toso for the specifics once she was done with her assault.

An obscured face wearing protective eyewear wearing thimbles and a mask would make it's presence known placing the modified equipment on the table for the squid client to receive before returning back into the back room of mysteries. Toso would stand and take note of Liori's comment of being uninformed of the mission specs as his eyebrows furrowed. Toso would then start to pick up his garment and slide the coat on his person with floofs and pomfs. Sounding like a dad getting ready for work and talking to his children distributing responsibilities he'd fill Liori and Ara in full. "There's suspicious activity occurring near Raijin bay. Bloop." Meticulously analyzing his sleeves now Toso would take note of the added glyphs that had been added. With this latest addition he began casually tossing things inside of one as he continued to speak in a tone that seemed slightly derailed via an expressed interest in something else.

"Anywhoop apparently like our resident Wan-san there have been sightings of other Giant-sans wandering about. Our job is merely to scout, not to engage, and report what it is these giant individuals are doing in our region. Bloop. Quite simply a stealth mission." Toso would then bend over after attaining his shoes and sliding them back on sounding distant he'd continue. "I've the rest of this day to hone you in stealth before we depart. So once you've made you've had your fill of spending your allowances we'll meet again briefly at the training field for a quick lesson." Standing straight once more he'd tap the ends of his shoes on the ground to affirm their position then exhale a cloud of hot bloop air. "Right, after we've done that we'll rendezvous here once more by then the communicator order should be done and we'll depart post haste bloop." He began making his way towards the door with a lax jaunt before he heard the resounding echo a familiar *poyun* *poyun* causing his ears to sharpen and his body to turn around.

Toso would then see Ara firmly cupping Liori's breasts with no doubt a confused Liori. It was here that Toso would shift gears as his glasses glinted and the scene turned seemed to light up around him as if a fuming father. "Ara-chan! You've made a critical misstep in your actions! Bloop! Where in your conversation did Liori-chan provide you with a suitable complement to justify the grope?! If you cannot answer that, did you even inquire her level of ticklishness?! Such reckless abandon for the rites will be your undoing!" Exhaling Toso would cross his sleeved arms and shake his head in a scholarly informative manner. "Only Endai may grope without the complementary criteria and not suffer from repercussions. Bloop. That reckless act of yours has no doubt stunted your growth by a year at minimum. Prey you're good luck in the presence of an endai for it could have been four. Bloop." Re-adjusting his glasses he'd turn towards the exit once more. "Once you've properly understood the weight of your actions I expect the two of you to meet me shortly for the aforementioned training bloop." The glasses of high expectations asian squid glinted disapprovingly before the one known as Toso made his dramatic exit leaving behind the tension his words carried. Of course there were two reasons for this exit. 1. to leave before he was questioned and 2. leave before seeing any of the aftermath. Of course if he were a normal individual the bull s**t radar in any competent individual would be going off. Of course to his benefit Liori would be just as clueless about Hojo traditions as Ara was. Bloo bloo bloo. Perhaps he was having too much fun with this little lie of his. ~exit training grounds.

Serenity walked into the Blue Dragon and began to look around. She had been told to get a radio, and whatever else she could afford with her 'allowance'. But in truth, she couldn't think of anything, or see anything, that she really wanted or needed. She looked over at her companion and then shook her head, "You said you have some radios right? If so, I'm not going to buy anything. There's nothing I really need right now. You wanted to check if they were still working, right?" She asked as she crossed her arms over her chest. Her coat moved aside and showed off her catsuit, some places were more reinforced than others, mostly the legs, arms, and a little on the chest. It was meant to protect her vital parts, and limbs. And it helped her prevent broken bones when she struck with her arms or legs. She looked around and eyed the leather and scale garments. The Nickle-titanium alloyed pieces looked tempting as well, but even with Inori's discount, she wouldn't have been able to afford a full suit of it. She would just have to wait until she had more money to her name.

Few knew about its existence until an unnamed member rediscovered the ability and began teaching it as a staple in the clan bloodline. This control allows the Crystal user to bend existing crystals as though it were their own. It should be noted that one can also manipulate their crystalline objects they themselves have made, and it must be done while holding a double hand seal. Additionally, any crystal that is being freely manipulated is not very solid, and can be broken or blown away as if it were completely natural, making it a poor choice for attacking or defending with. Should be noted that techniques can be made smaller while retaining their rank.

Ice created this way lays dormant- they are not attacks on their own.
It should be noted that the ice can still be shattered or sliced by physical forces strong enough, one [1] rank higher as per normal. Attacks without chakra cannot damage the ice.

Upon being scolded at by Toso, the younger Hojo made an "Uwaaaaah! I'm sorry, Toso-kun! I didn't mean to...Ika~" She gave a face as if she was begging for forgiveness for her sins, seemingly forgetting about the fact that she was currently groping another woman's chest at the moment. He fed her the false information of her growth being stunted for a year or so, to which Ara gave a pout. On the bright side, at least he had been present to prevent her growth from being withheld from her for a few more years. "B-But I don't wanna be short until I'm old! I wanna be big, and have a good boobs! I'm sorry, Toso-kun. I'll be careful next time." As the hooded figure known as Toso hurried away, Ara was left hanging onto Liori's breasts, releasing them while pouting to herself over her failure. After a few seconds of silence, she mumbled "Sorry.", still bent up over her little slip up in front of Toso. She seemed to accept it, and instructed her not to do it again until she was older, to which the little Hojo exclaimed "But then I won't be able to have nice boobs!" Ara continued to fuss as she began to walk towards the meeting place that her other two team members rushed to. She needed some time to think, apologize to her ancestors, and who knows what else?

✰ On approach Miko would notice something different about the Blue Dragon Emporium. It would seem like the place had a complete "face lift". The sorta lived in look and junk that used to riddle the exterior and shop window that showed a number of failed and tried works from the owners and their shopkeeper seemed to be swept away by a more legitimate establishment. For whatever reason the store had been taken over and now was under new management. Saiji Hatori, Miyurai Hatori, and Samaru were gone and traces of these names seemed to disappear without so much as a word from the people around. Maybe it was some of the anti-shinobi sentiment after the blizzard that aided in this quiet eraser of her peers but Miko wouldn't ever forget those names. Entering the store it seemed as if the establishment had become far roomier than it was before and the catalogue of items seemed to have been expanded. Miko had a look around as the new much more happy looking store owner or clerk, of which she wasn't sure of yet, was would simply look on before asking if she'd needed any help.
"Actually, yeah~...I wanted to know if I could use your workshop to work on a little item that belongs to my family. Also I needs ta buy a few things from here to trick out my outfit a little. A book or two as well on basic mechanical engineering."

With a smile the clerk turned about a dug around a bit before present a few item before Miko. Looking at these wares Miko's grin would only deepen s she'd make her purchases.

Description: A family heirloom of the Tengoku troop of shinobi thieves. Proficient in performing untraceable thefts by using Kugutsu Myoushu (The Puppet Master) to weave their strings around unsuspecting "pawns" they commonly planted dolls and the like at the scene of the crime to later string them up at a distance and carry out their heist. being refined over the years this crossbow and it's easy to use design was made so that anyone could pick it up, yet to use its true abilities only the devoted puppeteer shinobi could conceive of it's strength.

Kugutsu Myoushu is a hybrid model of a compound and automatic crossbow design elongated to allow for a greater draw and sniper capabilities. This design causes the limbs of the bow to be more curved inward and fitted with cabs/axles that Increases the potential energy the bow can release while also controls the recoil and noise produced be the bow. The automatic portion of the bows design allows for quick use and reloading various magazines/bolt types in the field when stalking a group. Fitted with a scope capable of clearly viewing up to 1.3 miles, a little under the max range of the weapon 1.5, it posses a powerful threat as a sniping tool. Kugutsu Myoushu's segments and cams are all bolted into place with stealth chakra nodes meant to effect the visibility of chakra strings. What other metals do make up the body of the weapon is an inert chakra assimilating alloy that both applies an charka affinity and varying effects on the weapon when chakra is introduced into it, as well as a durable and flexible material that works well with the bows repeated strain of fire. The Groove of the weapon can be coated with poisons. As well as the special affinity of the weapon acting as a control panel for the puppeteer shinobi. The cams/axle system and limbs support finger work of the puppeteer and extend the strings and the amount of motion the can get out of their Marionette/ puppets.

The weapon is of a matte paint design in dull colors to decrease visibility. The limbs can be closed in for a more sleek appearance when carrying it outside of combat.

Ability Summary:
• Strings formed using Kugutsu no Jutsu, Instantly notching the bolts to fire with every expense of five [5] chakara, further more controlling the weight and power of the bows draw without straining the user physically is a natural benefit along with the compound/automatic bow design. All kugutsu no jutsu are compatible with weapon if applicable to mechanism, ammunition, and summoning. [This counts towards Activation limit]

• Kuugutsu Myoushu is weapon specially made for Puppeteer ninja, as such it's own affinity for being used while a Kugutsu ninja is operating their puppets simultaneously is a given. It acts as an extension, or control bar, for their strings so how the user grips and handles the weapon can work to control the puppets as well. This "control bar" effect also extends the skill of the Puppeteer In their over all string count efficiency by one [1] Rank. The shinobi must be directly handling the weapon for this effect to take place, remote handling trough kugutsu does not count.

• Bolts fired can be sewn with chakra strings, allowing the user to latch onto things the bolts make contact with passing over the string, re-establishing connection to a puppet. Due to a chakra nodes made for stealth built into the structure of the weapon strings extending from the bow are invisible.

• Adjustable spotter scope capable of viewing at the full distance of the weapons range [ 2,400 yards / 7,200 Ft / 1.3 Mi ], exchangeable lenses compatible with goggle lens packs.

• Loads magazines of 30 Heavy or Light bolts. Light mags fire rapidly at a rate of 3 bolt round bursts per second, and paying only one chakra cost for notching, but range drops by half. Heavy bolts notch once [1] per post, but can pierce Light armor at Long-range, and tear trough rock and wood with ease Mid to Close range retaining silence, piercing C-Rank or lower chakra defenses. [Having them match B-Rank Stamina based abilities] The tensile strength of strings increases with "Army of One" Attribute increasing penetration power against chakra defense by one rank with Miko's own ranking up. [Bolts can be further customized Via Shops / Bukijutsu Technique]

--_Doton: Doton shifts the relative weight of the bow while handling it. Allowing one to increase or decrease the weapons weight making it a weary blunt weapon in close range, and further supporting it's balanced handling.

--_Fuuton: Causes the Limbs of the bow to act like sharp blades, allowing them to cut like low level Fuuton (ex: Vacuum blade)

Miko was sure she'd made the right purchases but she'd had a special request when it came to the custom job she'd hired the weapons smith to make.
"I've a little project that needs a bit of restoring and a few tweaks as peer my instructions.... you know what if you need it I'm a fairly okay artisan myself, ever heard of the Tengoku Woodworks?"
There was a pause of slight uncomfortable lack of recognition that Miko simply broke by clearing her throat.
"Alright never mind that just give me a shot to assist you in the show making my order and I'll assist you with anything else if you see fit to allow me to do such after my works done. "
Given nothing more than vauge shrug Miko was allowed behind the counter to start working.

[Crafting Work]

Miko would cross the threshold behind the counter to step into the blue dragons workshop. Appearing drastically different and more diverse than the last time she was here. All essence of the Hatori's that had once run the shop had some what been wiped clean from the slate and was replaced with a more more orderly regimen. tossed a working apron the weapons smith of the shop would give Miko only one true word of advice or discipline. "If you're going to work, we're going to work you hard."
Wearing her signature devious smirk Miko woudl shrug after tying her apron in place and would remove her vests flowing sleeves and folding it to sit on a work bench.

being passed the body of her Crossbows massive body Miko would begin to measure and gt a feel for the woods grain before shaving and filing down the frame to a proper shape and grip. The former design was more bulky and large better suited for the two men who'd possessed it before her. Not having the same size or strength as her father and recently departed grandfather Miko had to build things specific to her stature and it didn't pass her mind to be too proud to adapt her birthright. Yet this was only preliminary work for the master artisan at hand. She'd step aside and primarily play "nurse" to the weapons smiths surgical precision in his work.

When simply gestured or said Miko responded with her depth of knowledge on either woodwork's or blacksmiths materials, but she had some things to learn about how the bow was mainly put together. The wheels of the compound crossbow design helped to control the recoil of the boy when she'd fired it. The automatic design placed the loading cartridge at the top of the frame so the arrows fell down into the string. Though due to her instruction and schematics shortly discussed between each step there were no strings added. despite her hands on approach to this creation Miko was in no way the lead here. The inspiration for what became the final product was Miko's handy work and she was been able to hep build certain parts, but the marvel of the finalized Puppet Master (crossbow) was a beast of two minds much lesser hers than the other.

Though the project of her own order was complete the deal to even get the chance to participate was that she'd play her hand at helping around the shop. Some part of Miko felt like it was betraying her families business by seeking tutelage and experience outside of their shop. Yet there was a need to expand her horizons. More complex meticulous workings were something Miko need to develop all her own in contrast to the mainly carpentry work her family performed. Miko had dreams of advanced machines that would advance the way the people of the village lived all baring the family name and leaving legacy behind she could be proud of when her time was up...Yet straying from these thought she'd be tossed a few rags.

"Since ya offered you're gonna be polishing up the wares and helping with the finishing on some of the works." now here was something Miko wasn't too experienced in. Sure putting the proper varnish on wood kept it from being easily damaged from weathering and smooth to the touch so splinters and so on wouldn't occur (though her families shaving skills made that very unlikely) she wasn't often the person doing this work, it more often than not feel to her mother and grandmother. Keeping things spiffy and shiny all seemed too "girly" for her. Yet she did make the deal and if anything Miko needed to keep to her word if she didn't want to damage the image she had or the little respect she'd had among anyone if there was any. Finding the waxes and various polishes and finishing tools about Miko would start working on removing tarnish from some iron tools and weapons before she'd work her way over to waxing and varnishing the woodwork's.

It felt like grunt work but it was necessary something she'd had a strange feeling was part of the plan the Raikage or maybe just Wanryoku had for the shinobi at the assembly. Taking her time and paying special attention to the metal and if it needed to be acid washed rather than simply polished in cases of rust Miko came to quickly see how this shop looked much more orderly than the last iteration. These people were meticulous and had a sense or pride in the details. It wasn't really the sort of thing that was familiar to Miko given her background but it didn't' seem like a bad fit. given pointers and some showing of concern for er when handling the much larger pieces miko made it through to the lighter woodwork's and continued to press on in handing them over to the shop keep. Miko never really realized how many people used the blue dragons stock as a weapons cache and a source for other odds and ends that seemingly weren't handled by some village official overseeing weaponry. Which now that she thought about it while polishing the end of a katana's cap she'd never heard of or seen who actually took care of the weapon storage for the village. Even though she'd been a genin for what must of been over a year now Miko hadn't a clue about a number of secrets int he village and given her nature of curiosity, pragmatism, and paranoia in certain times she never felt quite okay with that fact. Finishing up she'd take to washing her hands and removing the gloves she had to wear to work and the apron. Placing them down and taking her short cut robe with the long sleeves

Given the work she'd done for not just the blue dragon but also the Village Miko would make a stop at the Raikage's office to receive some payment for her troubles in training Hono and taking on these jobs. She needed to keep a healthy surplus of ryo to fund her endeavors and by any means of earning that wasn't beyond the law she'd make her quota.

✰ Upon returning to the storefront Miko would casually walk into the shop and walk over to the counter to talk to the clerks and workers. Her appreciation for the speedy and well done Job they did in adapting the weapons she'd ordered and the custom job they'd allowed her to have some part in advancing the family heirloom she'd given them to work on.
"I'm back...I'm not too proud, so I've got no issue complimenting you guys on how well you did the work on my weapons.Che, guess that wasn't really sayin it, ight. Thank you.."

Miko would bow at the waist and would raise her head to look in the eyes of the clerk who just wore an awkward smirk at Miko's gesture of gratitude, but it was clear that she was setting them up so she could ask of them something more than she was saying. She'd learned a bit from observing Hono on how to show a deep sense of gratitude and humility, but the act was unnatural to Miko yet this much was necessary to pose a preamble to her proposition for the stores new owners. Though it might become a insult to her family, or maybe not, the point of fact was that Miko needed outside experiences from her families shop. This was the only major resource in the village with known masters of various crafts and had the skill set connection to materials and revenue to give Miko the experience she needed to get her own crafting underway. In part to help her options as a ninja but also to further develop the reconstruction of the village from the wounds the past consecutive attacks had left behind. It might take a generation or two to truly heal Kumogakure and Miko was sure she wanted to be a part of minds and hands that had a part in shaping this redevelopment. New leadership and a number of youths seeking their place in the world where the elders had seemingly all fallen off to the wayside. It was scary but also it held the opportunity to re-imagine the structure of the village.

The current Raikage had already started this by tightening the reigns on activities of new shinobi and taking less of a "public figure" stance on running the village than his predecessor. The open door policies of the former Raikage and her whimsical charm and strength had been replaced with a curt, blunt, and unpredictably sympathetic young-man who kept to himself mostly and seemed easily angered. Clearly a prodigy in his own right, but a surprise upon seeing him in his current seat at his age. Resolving whither she admired his ability or was disillusioned by the shape of his personality that conflicted with her thoughts at times left her cautious of her confidence in Kaileer. Still he was the Raikage and trusting him was a mandatory prospect of her job, but she wouldn't give all of her soul over to his lead. Looking at the clerks eyes deeply Miko would exhale still bowing and would begin to set her deal on the table.
"I'm thankful for your work, but I need to be capable of these things on my own. Not in competition but in maintenance and development of the tools I require for my work. So, I would like to request that you allow me to apprentice here and work part time for what you think is a fair wage for my skills. I'll give you everything i have and I'll never complain; I just want to work and grow as a craftsman. I've my intentions for the skills you might teach me, but I promise to you they are in the intent to help the Village. More skilled hands to put to work, and passing on my minds work to you and others who've any interest in my endeavors beyond your direct order to compose. So I plead with you to consider me!"

Miko was a bit out of breath at how quickly she'd bellowed out the words. She caught the glare of a few customers who weren't too happy with shinobi as a whole, but they'd come around to letting their begrudged feelings settle into the back of their daily goings on. Miko was embarrassed and it showed on her face but she didn't let her raise her head back up until she heard and answer. The sound of a throat being cleared and a woman stepping out from a gap opened up in the counter of the clerks desk leading back to the stores workshop pointed towards her to come over to her.
Miko walked over to the woman and she'd rest a hand on Miko's shoulder,
"Kid your really attracting way too much trouble just to get a little practice done. "

"Not practice! Necessary life skills!"

shaken with the blurt of Miko's view of how important thsi was the woman would seem to visibly break a slight cold sweat at Miko's resolve. Raking her left hand through her hair she'd pat Miko's shoulder and would lean back in.
"Alright then...huh, guess we've been given no choice but to accept your apprenticeship girly go put on an apron and help clean up around the shop okay. That should do for now. i know you can do alright on wood works, but I've got too many things on my plate right now that I've a certain groove going with. Can't let someone in that hasn't learned to pick up on my personal work style just jump in on a project. Conflict of aptitude and vision can ruin a good piece, remember that ki...what's your name again. Don't break anything and we'll see about getting you up to speed for now, you do the menial work, and I'll let you train here on your other stuff if you find the time for it. Deal..."

Nodding her head intently Miko would smile wide and her usually dull looking eyes seemed to gain a certain unseen shimmer of hope in them.
"I've got you, I'll do the best can and I can be patient in the learning more. I'm Miko Tengoku I've taken up the nickname MOB, but you don't gotta pay that no mind if ya don't wanna. Thank you, and it's a DEAL!"

again a bit loud about the prospect of her current situation, but Miko had made another step in advancing other than just gaining a partner in Hono, she'd gained a source of learning and materials outside of her home setting that was limited in it's worldly reach.

(( Miko's appearance has been softened a bit by a more colorful arrangement of clothing and certain portions of her hair being dyed green to give it some contrasting color to her favorite hue "Indian Red" Thick leggings, and boots with hight sock peeking over thing wrapped and bound with holsters for knives strapped to her. Matching the color of her signature red shawl/scarf she still wears like a hood over her head and hat. A baggy U-neck sweater had replaced her usual short cut robbed vest she used to wear and yet still shows the same level of room for her to bundle up her hands into her sleeves with ease. A black feather lined black skirt holding a number of bobbles looped through color strings are attacked to a thin studded belt at her waist. Wool finger-less sleeve length gloves are used to keep hidden a number of seals on along her arms. Her another bag with a poison apple symbol was added as an extra means to carry items she might pick up other than those in her mainly used Baroque designed waist strapped back on her back. ))

✰ Stepping behind the counter and looking at her hands and trying to see how steady they were Miko would wonder how well she’d do at this job. For the first day she’d be tasked with the menial work the others had no time for preparing and finishing already processed creations. It was the first time outside of a bit earlier in the day that Miko had taken up working on anything outside of her families shop. The fleeting thought of her grandfather drew a sullen expression from Miko but she was soon snapped out of it by a voice calling out to her, ”Hey rookie we don’t need you here if you’re just going to space out. Get to work and bring me the quenching materials for the iron and steel work as well as the polishing brushes and rags we’ll have you do a spot of white-smiting work for us.”

That would clinch whatever notion of tinkering with the gears and cogs of any contraption for the day in Miko’s mind. Which to be honest Miko couldn’t really tell if there had been any kind of “gearsmith” in this village before. What technological advances in the village that was here seemed to be mostly from foreign purchase and having been an economic power made it more likely that the village simply never had to rely on being their own manufacturers. Also the likely possibility was that it was cheaper to buy from outside the village than to pay those in the village to make the gear. Miko would ponder this as she’d bring over the materials the blacksmith needed to cool off the metal of the weapon she was crafting with oil; the sizzling sound always seemed to give Miko a sudden warm sensation up her spine.

Sweeping up around the shop and taking a few of the rags to polish the sign outside Miko would look on at the number of customers entering the store and try and get a feel for how busy the shop was. It was the major player in the village as a depot for weapons and materials foreign to this region, and in many ways it was thanks to the hard fork of the Hattori family, but it seemed as if they’d been blanketed over in a night. It didn’t help to think about these things while on the Job so Miko would change her train of thought as she tried to keep polishing in concentric circles. Her grandmother had been the one to more directly influence how she learned to clean up after herself.

The women of Miko’s family were people all to their own amazing in a way Miko never fully understood. Though they seemed o drive more decisions in how the family was run than what was said aloud most of the time. Miko had a close relationship wither grandfather and his tricks and demeanor trickled down into her a lot and her shared likeness in crafting came from the males of her family. Though the more mysterious and spiritually astute resolve was diffused into her from the females. Her mother and grandmother didn’t talk much but when they did it made things happen. Finishing on the sign and moving to sorting mail and packages Miko would think more on her family dynamic. Now that her grandfather was dead if she thought of things like how the noble families were run her father was the new head of the household Though in the week leading up to his funeral his grandmother seemed to be the one who organized everything.

As business picked up it would seem that the smiths would need someone to watch the counter and handle taking orders and purchases of pre-crafted materials such as kunai, shuriken, particle wire, etc. The ages of the customers ranged widely from young kids still in the academy trying to pass their shuriken-throwing exam, or older folks who were picking some of the more practical materials such as a dinning set of forks. In between looking over the storefront and making sure she kept her eye out for any theft Miko would occasionally be called into the back to help with acid washing rusted recovered metal materials.

Acid washing was one of the more severe ways to clean away rust if getting the appropriate solvents and gloves to rub them down seemed like too much of a waste in time. They’d still need dot be cleared but the acid worked wonders or corroding the impurities right off the weapon. Again this brought to mind Miko’s grandmother and her role in the family shop and her skill and attention to detail in finishing the rough works her father and grandfather made. There was once a story she’d heard a long time ago about her grandmother. This story went on about a young priestess who’d run away with a rouge thief for a life of adventure. Yet there were more struggles for her and less respect for a woman of less than noble virtue in the world, but she found a center and home in preaching her religion behind the mask of the local faith. Making things appear to be “clean” and the actual material composition of it were two different things. In some ways Miko was thought about this subterfuge by both her grandparents.

Once she was done helping with the acid washing it was back to the front to handle a few more customers and work on her customer service, which was honestly never her strong point. ”Ight, so you want the shuriken with saw tooth edges and some kinda flame skull shyt in the middle. Is that your emblem or are you like trying to make a statement cause that seems corny as all f#@K.” Having the smith when free every once in awhile step in to avert any straight out fight Miko made it through most of the day unscathed. There ws a subtle growth of respect she had for those who worked on white sitting as a whole, but her skills in this job in particular needed a bit more work before she could call herself anything close to a capable enough white smith to even varnish the wood on her crossbow to keep it from splintering into her fingers.

The shop started to whined down into a crawl and for about an hour or so while the smiths worked through the time on orders and other things they needed to prepare from more long term jobs that required tireless minding of the forges flame and the exact temperature the metal needs to be to further purify or regulate the nature of the alloy at hand. Miko’s studied their actins in passing as she’d work through the isles putting back into place whatever merchandise was left off shelves or miss shelved by uncaring customers. It was a little annoying seeing how messy things were but with a bit of time Miko stated to work out a system and remember from the top of her head where everything was placed. It took a bit of running back and forward to ask for help or a finger to point her in the right direction but she’d make progress before the sun started to set.

It would be well into nighttime and dark by the time Miko started to wonder what was taking Hono and Soraru so long to get here. She’d found the time to both get a job buy a bunch of crap and get on with her training in crafting before these two fools made it here. Sweeping out front and looking into the shop Miko would sigh as she’d put away the broom and would look to the smiths as they continued to work.
”I’m stepping out to take you guys up on that offer to train a little out here when things were slow.”
Hard faces fixated and seemingly entranced by their work seemed to give no answer for a bottomless silence Miko almost felt nervous waiting through until,
”Don’t take to long you’re still on the clock until we’re done. We call you come running, understood? ”
Answering with only and “Okay~”, Miko would excuse her self from the tense environment of the shop to the rear exterior where there was a shooting coarse or rather more like throwing given the amount of hand thrown projectiles that were still more prevalent than arrows in the shinobi line of work. Miko would start to prepare to train to enhance her sensory abilities.

✰Stepping outside and taking to the shooting range or better said target range Miko would start to focus on her ears and listen to the sounds around her. Drawing a slight focus of chakra to her ears and forming a simply hand sign Miko would hear the noise of the village rise in her ears. The sound seemed to stream in a stead flow and every sharp and distinct noise seemed to call out to her in definition to her mind. So this is the Echo sensory jutsu. Makes me feel like a freaking bat or some other animal. The sound seemed to be so close but at a distance as if that when she closed her eyes she could just extend her hands and reach the sounds that came through so clearly. Yet Miko’s intention for using this jutsu was to further extend her perception, but she was exposed in someway’s in just how clear and sharp sound came through.
• Yamabiko [ Echo ] (E-Rank) [1/1]

Focusing on one of the sounds she’d heard in a distance of a cat standing in an ally way. Miko would remember her use of the instant movement technique, which was arguably one of the fastest jutsu in the shinobi word. Though there were old stories told to children of strong leaders or tricksters whom had mastery of speed to such a degree they’d seem to cause the world to stand still. Miko’s simply response to such an unfathomable speed was premeditation. Preparation and perspiration made all the difference, holding her Nindo’s tenant of perseverance true to form, but also built on the concept of a forward thinking industrialism that Miko was starting to gain some reverence for. Using her prior jutsu as a focal point she’d body flicker right in front of the cat with her body crouched and back turned to the small creature, and as she’d land she’d sense the movements of the cat well enough to know exactly how to catch the stray as it tried to skitter away. Petting the animal to a calm before letting him stroll on off.

Looking over at the shops side behind the targets some ways in the distance from where she body flickered to Miko would walk back to the building and then ponder a jutsu she’d read up once that would allow her to spy on the inhabitants of a room or building from the exterior. Simply by making contact with the building Miko could get a vision in her mind of that was going on inside. Yet the image was more like a still frame of the moment, not an ongoing exact stream of insight.

Forming a single Hand sign and approaching the wall Miko would simply close her eyes and breath slowly. From the exterior passers by might of thought she looked weird doing this, hugging a building wall. Yet for her it meant getting a vision of her current employers where abouts for an instance. The image in her head showed the smiths as ever hard at work at their workbenches and forges watching carefully to finish the orders given in today according to a regimented schedule. Their work ethic was inspiring. Not one moment was to be wasted and not one piece of material was to be wasted. Efficiency wasn’t ever really a point of Miko’s focus but she was beginning of her own exploration into tightening her free time.

Turning around Miko would notice a few people looking at her and she’d look right back at them with a smile. Some of them noticed her from earlier in the shop and one or two seemed a bit put off by the ninja headband she wore on her person. It had always crossed Miko’s mind that really the best ability for any shinobi would be the skill to read another persons mind. Never even mind about how good it would help in gambling if you were into that sort of thing, but the information gather would be unparalleled. Since Miko fancied herself a kunoichi more focused and developed in the cerebral side of her profession she’d read up on a jutsu that allowed you to access the memories of others, or rather their thoughts through enacting a jutsu with the motion of ones right eyes and peering through the veil of their consciousness with her left.

Winking in the direction of the people looking at her Miko would focus her gaze on the one in the group that didn’t seem to have any clear expression emotion towards her as some of her friends did. Keeping her left eye open Miko would weave the signs with the movement of her eye and would open her eyes once more to feel the thoughts seemingly flow into her mind. ”I don’t really know if they were just inept or those things made them as weak as we were in the cold, but a girl that young couldn’t be all that strong…could she. She looks about fourteen or fifteen I doubt she’s mature enough to even figure out what she really wants to do with the rest of her life. If I ever have kids I’m not putting them in the academy. ”
Diverting her eyes and reflecting on what she’d picked up from the woman, Miko would ignore the group and find herself a seat on the floor. Looking up to the sky and thinking about her life direction, yet rather than dwell on the past Miko would use her experiences to try and form a more balanced version of herself.

Miko needed a means to communicate with her squad members at a distance and there was a jutsu that she’d took the time to memorize that specialized in just that, though it wasn’t the only method she’d researched it had a fairly useful and quick wide range that focused her voice towards it’s targets. Looking around and seeing that cat again Miko would choose it as a focal point for the jutsu. Coming to her knees and placing her hands on the floor Miko would focus her chakra onto the ground. Then a humming vibration would reverberate in waves from her position outwards. This wave would reach the feline and it would start to run of, but Miko would see that the range of these waves that wafted over the area were to far for it to out run.

”Hey kitty, don’t need to run I’ve got a snack for you~”, making little noises with her mouth in a effort to charm the cat over to his Miko would find her charms to be of no avail. The cat continued on to run, but Miko would feel the connection. Yeet there was no way for her to hear the cat in return other than a low hiss in the distance around the time she began to speak to the cat. It wasn’t the most adequate of practices but the jutsu seemed to effectively do what she’d expected if memory served her well.

(( Miko's appearance has been softened a bit by a more colorful arrangement of clothing and certain portions of her hair being dyed green to give it some contrasting color to her favorite hue "Indian Red" Thick leggings, and boots with hight sock peeking over thing wrapped and bound with holsters for knives strapped to her. Matching the color of her signature red shawl/scarf she still wears like a hood over her head and hat. A baggy U-neck sweater had replaced her usual short cut robbed vest she used to wear and yet still shows the same level of room for her to bundle up her hands into her sleeves with ease. A black feather lined black skirt holding a number of bobbles looped through color strings are attacked to a thin studded belt at her waist. Wool finger-less sleeve length gloves are used to keep hidden a number of seals on along her arms. Her another bag with a poison apple symbol was added as an extra means to carry items she might pick up other than those in her mainly used Baroque designed waist strapped back on her back. ))
