The Choose Your Move Game That Hopefully Doesn't End in a Ruined Dress Game begins February 12th at 8am PST
Attending a swanky party means dealing with the chance of running into someone who's been partying a little too hard - oh no!
Over the course of the next three days, you'll have six prompts to respond to in an attempt to get away from the rowdy individual and the repercussions that come with attending a large, fancy party.
Every 12 hours, a post will be dropped. You have until the next post to respond to the given prompt. Each post requires a dice roll of one 10-sided dice, which will help determine how well you dodge the follies laid out ahead of you.
Add your total dice rolls as you play along and the person with the highest number at the end of the game will win a formal alt civ donated by the generous demon_pachabel. Should the event arise that we have multiple winners, there will be a randomization between the winners for the civ, but all winners will walk away with a prize!
Time Zone for posts: 8 PST, 9 MST, 10 CST, 11 EST
Please have your posts filled out before the next roll. You have 12 hours to do so for each one so there's no excuse not to at least toss a blurb in there! For every 250 words written, you may submit for another ticket in the Raffle thread.

Fancy parties really weren't Adaline's thing, but she couldn't help but be curious to see if this one had the same disastrous effect that the others hosted within the city seemed to. She hadn't been party to any of them, heck, she had only moved back to the city in the last month or so buuuuut she'd seen the news reports, or the blogs that people cared to rant about how yet again they'd gone out for a good time and had been so rudely attacked for it.
So, she'd finagled a pretty snazzy outfit, a nice dark blue lady suit with a white button up underneath and a bowtie (because bowties were cool).
Of course, right when she found a place for her to watch and observe, some dummy was drunkenly stumbling around and--
Oh, no, oh no.
Adaline hurried to get out of his way, barely moving as he slid behind her and---
Ewwwwwwww.
The dummy had spilled his drink all down her back!!
((Anyone is free to bother Adaline between drunken stumbles~))

Felicity Feardorcha
Of course the moment the ball was announced, Felicity had found herself quickly in possession of a ticket. She'd taken the evening off from work, delighted to indulge and socialize. All for a good cause, too. She'd begun her indulgence early, thrilled by the outlet and excuse to dressed up for an evening. The sheer slit of the dress fell along her left leg, allowing her serpent tattoo to peek out as it wrapped around her leg and abdomen. Gold and ruby earrings glinted along her ears, stacked slender rings accenting her fingers. Her hair was left down for the most part, some of her bangs pulled back in tight braids to a gold and ruby clip at the back of her head. An elegant look matched with relatively tame makeup in the form of smokey eyes and a soft pink lipstick. She felt great strolling through the event, rubbing shoulders with a few faces she'd seen before at previous gatherings--and avoiding those in tackier, non-brand attire. Ew. Her dark heels clicked casually against the floor, sipping champagne slowly from a flute she'd gained with a fake ID and a few bats of her lashes. Not to mention some help from the window of sorts at the side of her body.
Delighted as she was, and wholly in her element, Felicity had perhaps become too comfortable. She certainly wasn't paying as much attention as she should have of the more... inebriated guests. The man who'd begun to wobble and slosh his way towards her was for a moment largely unnoticed, meaning to simply move around him as one would in any gathering. But his movements were off, and her dark eyes narrowed as she took in his state. Wrinkles formed as her nose scrunched up briefly before a serene smile was put into place. "Excuse me," she stated in a firm voice, hoping to break through some of his haze enough to get him out of her way.
The attempt was unsuccessful though, even as Felicity began to side-step as the man began to sway. The glass in his hand was eyed with particular unease--soon particular malice as she gave a startled yelp. "Oh no!" She stared down at the darker red that had sloshed over the rim of the glass, onto the floor and her dress. It was along part of the skirt, near the slit no less, and she glowered at the man as she tried to flag down a member of waitstaff to get something to try and clean off her dress. "I can't believe how ridiculous people get at these parties!"

Rhona Lee -- Navy Blue Cocktail Dress with black ankle boots
Oh of course this would be Rhona's life right now! Why would it not be Rhona's life? She nearly laughed at the absurdity of it all and actually would have had she not been irrefutably irritated about the whole thing. She dodged the drunkard deftly, thanking whoever was listening to her garbled and frantic prayers as she did so. However that all nearly came crashing down, literally. As she stepped out of the way of the stumbling drinker Rhona felt her hip collide with the sharp corner of a table.
For a moment it was only irritation brought on by the sharp pain of the impact, but then the delicate tinkling of crystal reached her ears. Irritation quickly gave way to raw panic and the world around her slowed to frame-by-frame clarity. It was actually pretty amazing, as her body acted on it's own while the single moment she was experiencing stretched on forever. She quickly grabbed the table behind her, twisting her back in such a way that would later bring her agonizing pain whenever she tried to move. Her lower half followed in what might have been a dance move had she not been currently cussing at the same time. She stayed frozen there, hands planted on the side of the table, watching in fear as the delicate little crystal flutes jostled and danced with one another for what seemed like years before finally settling back down.
Time sped back up and she sighed, leaning heavily over the table with the weight of her relief and waited for her heart to stop pounding. Had anyone seen that? She was caught between wishing someone had witnessed that feat of agility and quickness and hoping they didn't because it was her fault after all. In the end, no one seemed to be looking her way, but that didn't really mean that they didn't see.
But life is a roller coaster and so especially was Rhona Lee's, for her relief quickly transmuted to confusion when she felt something strange on her hip and that confusion turned back into irritation once she realized what the sensation was. She turned slowly and prayed again to whoever was listening that she wasn't feeling what she was feeling, but once she saw it she knew. A crystal flute lay on its side by her hip, probably knocked over when Rhoan turned, dumping its contents onto the floor and, in its way, her dress.
She took a deep breath to center herself with clenched fists and a tight jaw.
