Itatsume looked around confused. "Will you guys shut up? Ketsu. Just bring anyone that you can think of that can help. Iris. If you're coming along, keep quiet and help when needed. 'Kay? Alexandromeda. Calling you Alex won't work. I have another sister, Alexandria, and we already call her Alex."

When Itatsume said 'Alex' the first time, Alexandria walked in the door. "Hello. You said my name?" She looked at the new girl. "Who're you?"

"Iris is not going anywhere near my house!" Growls and glares at Iris. "You have no idea what i will do if i catch you near my home." Eyes glow a faint red. "I'll bring my family And that's it we'll bring information back."

Itatsume sighed. "Whatever."

Leaps out the window and runs on all fours out of the village.

*sits up suddenly*
Iris. I guess you won't be going along... Just stay here for now. I'll deal with Ketsu later.

*sighs and pouts*

*sits down*

*reaches out a hand*

Y'know, I'm a little surprised at Ketsu... She was the one who wanted more people, just in case something happened, but then she follows it up by banning the one person I trust *most* from going along with you two. I fail to see how Ketsu will be able to help with any of this at all. Her actions are far too... random.

If you care about Ketsu at all, I'd suggest you keep her safe. And out of the loop about anything you find. Because I most certainly will not be keeping her informed about any of this - if she cannot trust who I trust, then I cannot trust her.

*frustrated:* Gah, shut up already, Iak! You and I both know the real reason why Ketsu doesn't want me there.
*stands up, and walks over to Itatsume, whispering in her ear*
*whisper:* It's because of me that Ketsu and Iak aren't together anymore... I don't know what you heard about it, but... Yeah.
*walks over to Alexandromeda, and drapes an arm about her shoulders*
So, "Alexandromeda Iris," hmm? Y'know, your name sounds familiar... Heh, of course, that might be because your surname is my own name...

{No... That still doesn't explain it...}

Anyways. Itatsume, you should probably join up with Ketsu before she decides to leave you behind completely. I'll take care of Iak here, don't you worry!
*smiles wide, giving Itatsume a mock-salute*  

[Alexandromeda-Iris]

Umm...
*looks between everyone else, confusedly*
Um, Itatsume, I guess just call me Alexandromeda... it'd just be easier to say my full first name, I think...
Umm...
*looks at Iak, then at Iris, who are both now staring at her*
I... don't know why my name is familiar to you... although now that you mention it... for some reason, "Iak Kereshna" sounds familiar to me...

"No mom doesn't want Iris around because of what happened to Uncle Kuro you morons." Walks in stretching and looks to be 12. "Uncle Kuro was attacked and he said the only thing he can remeber is the name Iris being said. So mom thinks its our Iris." Flicks his tail back and forth. "If you ask me it was just a lion in our woods but you never know."

"And mom isn't always this random she's just starting to go back to the way she was when she was in the Okami family. Grandpa told us how mom never wanted anyone's help and how she always looked up to Kanaye and Kentaro. But then one day just vanished and wasnt heard from till she was 14. I think thats when she went to orochimaru..." Follows in behind her brother pulling on her ears nervously. "I hope we aren't interupting anything are we dad?"

Itatsume handed Iak back the book, listened to Iris's explanation and then jumped out the window, not waiting on anyone else. "Ketsu, wait up." she hollered to her younger sister. "Don't think you don't count me as family."

"You aren't Okami family!" Growls and turns into her wolf and keeps running. Is joined by 5 wolves at the gate and all take off.

"Let her go. Mom's goin through a lot. With Kanaye telling her to abandon me or get rid of me. I know she won't but... you never know..." Stares out the window after his mother. {Damnit kaa-san! Why?} Growls quietly.  

[Iak-Kereshna]

*walks over to the twins, and hugs each of them tightly, Maya first*
Hey guys...
*smiles at the two of them, then sits back down, opening the book to the page Itatsume had opened it up to*
Hmm... Yes, the text stands up here... but it still doesn't make sense...  

[Alexandromeda-Iris]

*moves over and sits beside Iak, peeking over his shoulder at the book*
*reading:*
Hmm...
*looks at Iak, now just noticing him staring at her, mouth gaping open*
What?

*is suddenly standing behind Alexandromeda*
You. You can read this?

But... But that's...
*eyes roll up into my head, as I lay back down, almost collapsing, as memories flood back*
Alexandromeda Iris... I remember now. My father... and your mother... the two of them had been travelling together at that point, hadn't they? I must've only met you a couple of times... but our parents knew each other well, at least professionally...
*looks directly up into Alexandromeda's eyes*
In fact, if I'm not mistaken, I think I may have asked you to marry me once. Although I was probably about 6 at the time, aheh.

"Hey dad? Can i see the book?" Smiles and looks at the book.
"Moron you know we can't look at it." Smacks his sister upside the head.

Itatsume glowered behind Ketsu. "Oh, I'm glad to know that you don't consider me family. But, whatever." She walked back into her office, but not going back to the back room where everyone else was. After she was in her office, she turned to the right, and pushed her hand on the wall, it revealed a stairway. She began climbing it. When she came to the top of the stairs, she opened the door, which closed the wall, sealing Itatsume off from the rest of the shinobi. In the room, there was a wall with security monitors on it, which allowed Itatsume to see through out her village. Hmm, she thought. I should probably lift Jacob's suspension from the training grounds soon. He'll be starting to get antsy and I don't want to have to clean up the village from him, too. On the other side, away from the monitors, there was a bed, that had a big golden furred teddy bear on it. She walked over to it, slowly, her feet dragging on the floor. She sat down on the bed, and grabbed the teddy bear. "Kachyo-san.." she said as she held the bear to her chest. A single tear fell from her eye on to the top of the bear's head. "Why.. Why make me wait.." Itatsume laid down on the bed and cried for a bit before falling asleep, the voices and hub-bub from the village and different rooms in her office that were flowing out of the monitors, slowly fading as sleep consumed her.
