this didn't seem to quite get to him, that she was only staying a bit to hide from which was hunting her. He seemed more concerned at her shape in the lack of light. He dissappeared and moved in the house's shaodws, and a light was lit on the second floor in a second or two, a fireplace it became clear after a momentary shock of the light change. He walked to a shadow casted by the fire and dissappeared again and reappeared at the door again. His red false eye was obvious now in the light that flooded from the fireplace up the large scoping stairway. He seemed almost happy that there was some one else in the house and this was just the truth, he hated being alone in this or any place, but now he didn't have to be, he had another to fill the house... hopefully he might have even more within the house.

When he disappeared into the shadows, she instantly knew he used shadow magic to travel around his house to light the fireplace on the second floor. Persayis stared at him as he returned to the door where she remained standing. Now having light she noticed his peculiar red eye that she just realized was fake. She assumed he had lost it in battle and instead of wearing a patch to cover it up, he replaced it which wasn't uncommon. Staring at him, she noticed it looked as if he were happy. Why was he so happy? Finally taking her thoughts off of him she turned towards the staircase and began to slowly make her way up it. "I hope you don't mind..." she said while reaching the top of the stairs and walked over to the large fire place.

He had dissappeared and reappeared his way around the house's shadow lighting fires and casting lights and making it look less homely. But was passing through as she said her bit so he paused and his responce was one of the few normal things he had said to her, or in general in a long time. "What would i be minding?" he was unsure himself what she had ment by this and had thought enough on it, and didn't want to be curious much longer.

"Me taking a look around your home." she responded, truly not caring if he did or not. Since there was nothing better to do while hiding out in this man's house, Persayis decided to explore this large mansion that seemed to have no other inhabitants. "Do you live here alone?" she asked with a loud tone of voice so he could hear her where ever he was in the house. Her voice echoed off the walls and high ceiling as she began to walked towards an unlit hallway.

he heard her but again didnt; respond he did not want to admit it, because once he did it would become true in his mind aswell as reality. He vanished here and there around the hous finishing some tidying up he had in places of the house that were untouch by him, and lighting the remaining rooms, aswell as locking a few doors here and there.

Comming to a door, Sabrina examined if for a moment before placing her hand on the handle and turning it, but it wouldn't move. The door was locked. Letting out a sigh, she looked around and began to wonder why this door was locked. If he lived alone why keep doors locked? A thought of him just locking it moments ago crossed her mind which made her even more curious. "Why is this door locked?" she asked somewhat loudly so that she could be heard by the other.

his chuckle echod from the house's many shadows and he appeared from one a few moments later, and leaned on the bit of wall which wasn't in shadow. "because lil cats shouldn't go where curiosity could kill them." it was almost a jeer but seemed good tempered enough not to be at the same time. As he did seem to be, on the edge of everything that was him.

Looking over to him as he leaned against the wall, Persayis grinned at his comment about cats. Her fangs could be plainly seen as she grin and spoke. "First off, I'm a grown cat thank you very much. Second, I've been curious all my life and it hasn't gotten me into any trouble that I couldn't get myself out of." she replied, grin still in place on her face. "What do you have to hide...." she paused, remembering she didn't know his name. "...besides your name.", finishing her sentence.

He smirked, he found it amussing that this girl was claiming to be a big cat that never had gotten her nose stuck where it didn't belong, and bitten more then one can chew. He had his retort. "then what have you here? you curiosity has gotten you to a door which you can't get out through, what ever shall you do?" He posed this knowing it might just up her curiosity to not be met.

"Well there are a few things I can think of doing, but I would hate to ruin your lovely home." she said, her grin still in place. After speaking, Persayis sighed and leaned off of the wall. She felt as if she were wasting time conversing with this man and taking a tour of his house. "Alright, this is boring me." Her lips had relaxed and she was expressionless. "If you know anything about the where abouts of our so called king, tell me now. If not, then I'm wasting my time and really should be going."

He laughed. "No, one knows where our king resides. No one really even knows how he became our king, if he is still alive... We know nothing... But you, you i know something for sure about. You leave here tonight, you'll be another mark." He said this with all seriousness. He was either trying to scare her, or trying to tell her how it would be for her the rest of her life. She was no longer safe.

"I'm going to be a mark no matter what I do." she said while brushing past him and heading down the hallway. "My safety from the others isn't going to be better tomorrow or any other day for that matter." Persayis was now at the large winding staircase and took each step one at a time while descending to the first floor.

he dissappeared and reappeared on her way down the stair and sat upon the banster. "why leave so soon? it is still in the time where all but the least sane are up and about" he really didn't want to be left alone again and would more then likely accompany her is she did leave the house.
