Vampiric city

[Unique Flavor]

A shocked looked came about her face as she saw him turn from her and begin to walk away. At first she was a little confused, but that was soon pushed out of her mind by anger. Persayis transformed back into her human-like state with a spiteful look on her face and her arm healing from the fall. "What do you think your doing?!" she yelled then ran towards him and placed a firm hand on his shoulder, trying to turn him back around. This was probably a foolish move on her part, seeing that she didn't even know the man, but her instincts got the best of her and it was too late to go back.

He seemed to vanish from her hand, and appear behind her. Really all he had done was duck down and back step, but still the illustion was there. From some where a knife came, and its point was lightly but domaint on her back. "I am remaining sane, and alive. What are you doing, lil girl?" his voice was cool and calm, but had an icy tone to it as if he really would kill her if he needed to. This was the person sent to kill him, but she really was not good.

She tensed up slightly when she felt the blade of a knife poking her in the back. Persayis relaxed once more and let out a sigh and summed up the situation in her head. She had the feeling he was one of them, those people who despised humans and would kill all of them if given the chance. She also regretted that she did not have her sword on hand and that she had yet to retrieve it. "I am thinking about how foolish, trying to run away from something I knew was inevitable." she replied softly while standing straight and firm, just waiting for the man to try and kill her. She wanted to believe that she was strong enough to defend herself if he attacked, but the truth of the matter was she wouldn't even dare to try and that she lived in a world where no one pitied a coward or someone like herself.

He made another chuckle like noise. He seemed ammused with her answer but his knife was still there. "You are not to make a good runner. You do not even look where you go..." He made a motion towards the manision before them, which was his, and for her to walk that direction. "Life in its way suited you not to run, but why do you try in any case?" His voice was deep this time and hinted towards a far off accent.

She became slightly angry when he had chuckled at her comment. Yes, it may have been a laughable remark to him, but to her it was a serious comment and the truth. The vampire remained still even after he had motioned to the mansion. "I find the answer to your question quite obvious, to escape from someone who was chasing me." she replied then turned her head slightly to the right and looked at him from the corner of her eyes. "Now please stop wasting my time with such questions. If you mean to harm me like the others, then hurry up and go through with it. If that's not the case, then I would very much like to go." Persayis's face was expressionless as she spoke with a stern voice.

"Go, run, and be cuaght. As i said, you are not ment for running... but standing, fighting out in the open..." He continued off walking away as if he expected her to be following him. "do as one might, you could lead a rebellion against Vladmir, or savior and king." He spun around on his heel at this and looked back to her, gauging her reactions.

Persayis watched as he walked away and began to tell her that she must fight in the open. Fighting in the open will get you killed. That is what she learned and that is exactly what she was avoiding her whole life. "A rebellion?" She repeated. A small grin appeared on her face as if her confidence suddenly uncovered itself after the knife was removed from her back. "I plan on leading nothing." she said then paused before continuing. "I plan to find our 'king' by myself and to kill him myself." She would never be mistaken for a team player. The vampire always preferred to work alone instead with others and that is exactly how she felt at that moment.

He frowned, this was not what he was expecting, of her. He turned and waved his hand in a circle in a uncaring motion. "then i guess you would do best thrown to the birds." He continued on his way back towards his home. This had ended up to be a pointless walk, the shadow had ended up to be just that. He would surely find some other thing to replace his current puppet at the head of the rebellion.

Hearing a crow or raven of some sort let out a scratchy low pitched cry, Persayis jumped slightly. She didn't know if the followers of Vladmir were still searching for her or not. If they were, it would be unwise to return to the inn she was staying at. She also remembered her sword she had left with the blacksmith which might have been done by now, but the risk going back to get it was too high. Sighing and rolling her eyes, Persayis watched as the man began to walk away towards the large house that was obviously his. Closing her eyes, and concentrating, she transformed herself back into a panther. 'Hm, this is getting easier.' she thought as she jogged towards the man. Finally reaching him, she walked at his side and stared up at him with her worried filled eyes. She had no where to go and the only person, who she had already began to dislike, that she could trust was this stranger. She continued to follow him, half expecting him to stop and tell her she couldn't come.

he looked behind and paused awaiting her to cover the lost ground. He continued as she did, and held his silence as he walked towards his home. He seemed to be on the look out and winked at a shadow in the distance. This either showed his insanity or his power/bribry of those that are in the service of the king.

Walking, Persayis felt somewhat relieved that she wasn't alone and that she didn't have to return to the inn, but without her weapon she felt defenseless. She glanced up at the man and noticed that it looked as if he were looking for someone which seemed sort of odd. When he winked at something or someone in the distance, this made her suspicious. What was that in the distance? 'Should I be trusting this man? I mean, he just held a knife up to my back only moments ago.' she thought while staring up at him.

He relised as he walked that only moments ago he was convinced this woman was on of the people sent to kill him. He had dropped this thought when he had avoid the woman's arm and gotten a knife to her back, though he told himself that she could have been trianed to control her reflexs, or had not been trained as a true assasain. He noticed that the woman had noticed his wink but pretended to no and broken his sight with the shaodw.

A small growl came from her as she looked away from the man. It was simply just a warning growl. If he tried something, she wouldn't hesitate and be as foolish as before. Before she let her anger of being tripped blind her and cause her reflexes to be less than perfect. But that would not happen again. Comming closer to the house, Persayis began to look around the area for what the man and signaled to. Was it someone waiting by to capture and kill her? She hated being so suspicious, but it's what kept her alive for so long.

he arrived at his door and opened it for her, waiting of the sleak shape of the panther to go by he looked around to see if anyone was around spying on him or her. He saw no one and went in after the woman. The room was large and empty of crowding funtiture and dark, lit by nothing..

Entering the home before the man, Persayis's large claws made loud tapping noises on the floor. Not wanting to scratch or mark up the lovely tiles, she quickly transformed back to her human form. She brushed herself off and rolled her shoulders slightly to get use to the feeling of standing upright on only two feet. "I'm only here for an hour or so to make sure my pursuers aren't still out there." she said while looking around. While speaking she didn't even look at the man, but now her eyes rested on him.
