Before going to the tavern, Persayis stopped by the blacksmith to see if her sword was ready earlier than predicted. After finding out that it wasn't, she exited the shop and continued to walk towards the tavern. I feel sort of foolish for revealing my face for everybody to see. I thought I was suppose to be laying low. Well I guess I won't leave the tavern at all except to pick my sword up. the vampire thought then released a small sigh just as she reached the tavern. Suddenly, just as Persayis reached to open the entrance door, something appeared next to her that she saw from the corner of her eye. She quickly turned to face it and saw that it was some sort of large wild black cat. "A panther..." she mummbled. She didn't know how she knew that, but she just knew. The large black cat nodded slightly then let out a enormous roar. Without warning it charged at Persayis. For some odd reason, she couldn't move, but it was even more odd that she didn't want to move. When the panther made impact, nothing happened, it just appeared to sink into her and disappear. For a few moments, the vampire was in a trance, but was soon pulled away from it when a man stood in front of her, cleared his throat very loudly, wanting to get by. Blinking she looked at the man and shook her head slightly. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to block your entry." she said while moving aside. The other rolled his eyes and entered the tavern. Persayis stood there looking at her hands, wondering if that could be her totem. She had seen other's transform into animals, but always thought that she never had one. After the shock had settled she straightened herself and stepped into the tavern, heading right for the stairs that lead to the rooms.

she standing at the entrance, leaned against the wall... She sniffed the air, hissed a bird like hiss only heard when said bird finds her mate eating her chicks, or worse, and convinced of many things to hold against this woman, stalked after her, not at all discretly, or covertly. She once again knew not nor to notice then other woman on the hunt, she knew not to bring ghosts to be seen. She knew,e woman wished or thought it worth it, she would follow, appearing as she wished. She knew this was the woman, she knew this woman would die, she knew a great many of things. Her fingers extented, flexing and her metalic clawes clicked, this was her only warning after her prveious hiss, the locking of this form's talons. She was ready to rip and tear flesh, she was hungry for it, thristy for blood of her own kind, the only source for this was her marks.

Just as Persayis put one foot on the wooden steps, she heard, from across the room, some sort of hiss that usually comes from hostile birds. She froze and listened closer, now able to hear the clicking of sharp nails, almost like talons. Suddenly the thought of the raven flying over the wall, after the human she had set free, came into mind. Instead of turning to see the person making these noises, she continued up the steps and into the hallway that contained many doors to the tavern's rooms. As soon as Persayis was out of sight, she pressed her back against a wall and began to breath heavily. I have to get out of here. she thought then looked around quickly. At the end of the hall there was a window that was just big enough for two people to fit through at one time. Since she was on the second floor it would be risky for her to jump from such a high place. How am I going to get down there? Persayis asked herself while staring at the window. A low growl echoed through her mind, the same growl that had come from the cat earlier. "My totem..." she mummbled softly under her breath. Now all she had to do was figure out how to transform, which seemed difficult for her at the time.
