Clandestin was worried, glancing over to her brother who had stopped again to lay down. He would close his eyes and shake for a bit, laying his head upon the grass for a few seconds.
Then he would move towards her, giving her that weak smile that depicted only pain and sadness.
Was she doing this? The black klipspringer moved forward, nuzzling her brother gently on the maw. "You look tired, Brother," she said with a whispered worry.
She shifted, laying next to her downed brother. "We can stop in our search for a bit," she told him with a quiet voice, pressing her side against his. She frowned. He seemed worse for the wear.

Blanc gave a small hitched breath and listened to his sister, but suddenly and vehemently rejected the idea. He almost fell over with the vigorous head-shake. "No, no," he said.
"I'm totally fine," he cried out, though he was obviously lying. "We have to be somewhere in the morning," he whispered to her, head suddenly hurting.
He winced, head pounding and the heavy feeling in his stomach was getting heavier. He leaned his head against her body. "I think I found a herd. While you were sleeping.
He didn't know why he said it, it came out. He hadn't really found a herd, but he could see it in his head. He felt like he could trust this odd vision that appeared in his short bursts of sleep.
He could only hoped she would agree. With a harsh push, he managed to get back off the ground, body aching and heavy.

Cland gave a small sigh of relief, settling her nerves (if only slightly). She hated to see her brother try to protect the both of them - like he was older and stronger, but that was simply not true. She hated his misguided need to make everything okay for the both of them. "Good, I'm glad." She murmured, breathing into his fur. She would know if he moved to wake up from this position.
"And you don't have to apologize, you know... Just stop being so reckless!" She huffed. "I need you, you know. You can't run yourself into the ground and not expect me to be concerned..."
She watched him nod tiredly and sighed in response. Now, at least, maybe he would sleep. She hoped he slept for a good, long while. Hopefully, this new herd would stop the foolish behaviors her brother had aquired over the years - for her sake, as well as his.
