Darkwood Forest.... Beware!

The inside of Devian's home was comfortable, and clean, with bookshelves, plush armchairs, and a nice fireplace.
(Pretty much like Mr. Tumnus's home from Narnia.)

Glancing around still, the woman continued down the road. Seeing a city up ahead, she was realived to see that she had made it without being caught and mugged. She continued on and went inside the city.

Devian lead Chazia to a chair and offered for her to sit down. "Would you like something to eat or drink?" he asked.

Riku has had a tough day. People from Altena where after her. I mean, come on, she was on a different continent for god's sake! Why can't they leave her alone!? Riku kept walking and didn't even pay attention to where she was going to. Intill she found herself in a dark forest Riku looked around, expecting to find a exit of some sort. She found none. Then she began to look around for a person. Anyone really.

Aure' walked through the trees and saw Riku ahead of her. Finally, a "human" face. Aure' thought Riku looked like she could use a friend...or a guide at least. Smiling, she towards her.

Riku turned around and saw someone headed to where she was. Riku didn't know weither this was a normal person walking through the forest or a assassin after her. Riku pulled out her two daggers and pointed her weapons at the person. Who are you and what do you want? Riku asked.

Aure' put up her hands, showing she meant no harm. "You looked lost, I figured you could use a guide," she said gently, not wanting to alarm Riku further.

Riku looked at Aure' standing there. She seemed to be no harm to Riku. But looks can be misread sometimes. Just like a book. The cover may not look so good but the inside might be awsome. Same with a excellent cover but a not so good middle. Riku sniffed the air around her. She didn't smell anger, hatred or anything of the sort. Thus, she put her daggers away and walked to where Aure' was. I do seem lost. I was just...takeing a walk and found myself here. Riku told Aure'. When in reality, she was running from soilders from Altena.

Aure' smiled at Riku. "You aren't from around here, are you?" It was more of a statement than a question. "Technically, one doesn't just take a walk through Dark Wood," she added extending a hand. "I'm Aure'."

Riku rubbed the back of her head. Ehehe well no really I'm not from around here. Riku had said, trying to say as little as possible. It was surpriseing that Aure' had not noticed that Riku was wanted. Although she could already know and try to be lureing Riku in a trap. But something about her seemed calm. Not mean or anything like that. But, just to be on the safe side. My name is Shiro. Curseing herself for a lack of a better name, Riku looked at Aure's extended hand. Then took it.

"Funny, I thought your name would have been Riku, like it says on your wanted poster," Aure' said with a cocked eyebrow as she shook Riku's hand. Then she laughed.
"Don't worry, this region is notorious for being the hideout for all sorts of "criminals". Other countries send us all sorts of wanted posters, but they don't get the fact that the people who live here aren't going to help other countries that quiver beneath the gaze of a single emperor from a pathetic region of the world. Any one who wants to help overthrow tyranny is more than welcome, regardless of the bounties they may have," she explained.

"I'm not going to turn you in."

The whole time Aure' was explaining, Riku's face was just priceless. O_O Dang..Well no use hideing it. Yeah my name is Riku. She replied while rubbing the back of her head embarassed. 'Well at least she won't report me' Riku thought to herself silently.

Aure' laughed again. "Welcome to Shi'uil Pilantiris, Riku," she said with a smile. She looked up in the sky. "Well, it looks as though we still have some time before night falls, would you care for a place to stay?" Aure' asked graciously.

Riku bowed slightly. But remembered that she is no longer royalty and thus, just nodded her head in thanks. That would be very nice yes. Thank you so much Aure'. Riku said with gratefulness. Smileing, for the first time in a while.

Aure' smiled and nodded back. "Well, then, we best get a move on. Beasts will be coming out for hunting soon. We don't want to get caught by one. Follow me," she said with a hint of laughter. She turned and began leading through the dense, dark trees.
