She was reading a few incantation form "The Book of Light." She just slightly looked up at the ceiling

November smiled warmly as she continued to pet the man in wolf form. She could tell he was enjoying the attention since he continued to press his head into her palm. "I suppose life always does find a way in the end." November smiled, happy to have an explanation for his eyes. It would make it easier for her to tell his emotions if the two became friends.

She seemed abit taken back by him when he asked what her life had been like, "Oh...um..well..My life isn't really anything special I suppose." November shook away the horrid memories of monsters attacking her home, most everyone being killed because of her curiosity. It wasn't something she wanted to talk about, and it certinly didn't make for good conversation. "Um My life has been just like any other girls. You know boyfriends, lots of friends, stuff like that!" She was lying but was hoping he wouldn't pick up on it. "I've studied alot about vampires...thats about it. Nothing special here."

Cid laughed lightly, "no man or womans life is normal but its cool," he said smiling and looking to theground just to avert his vision. Cid felt his bodies warm stabalize and he yawned slightly, pushing her hand up abit. "Sorry bout that," he said laughing abit more, "it came out of nowhere."

Cid just caught the end of her sentence and could resist addressing it. "Well I'm not considered a vamp anymore, or Carpathian anymore for that matter," he said looking back to November still smiling. "I am able to have a heart beat, be killed and reproduce now, all of which I couldnt before," he said laughing with a slight smirk, his fang piering out from his top lips. "I'm a wolf I guess now, but I've kept my memories and my power he said looking to the table as a small fire shaped itself into a bird that playfully hopped around. It circled one spot and chirped before Cid closed his eyes and it vanished. "A beauty fire is," he said looking at the small burnt marks on the table.

"I'm glad to hear that. I suspect that having children most be the greates joy that anyone can ever be subject to. However...I am afraid I cannot share the same view of fire that you have..to me fire brings nothing but death and destruction.." November said as she pulled her hand away.

"Though that bird you made was beautiful, I just..fire is something I seem to fear..." November closed her eyes and shook her head lightly. Banishing away the memory of her village burning to the ground.

Cid nodded and reopened his eyes. Dark speresof chocolate like eyes looking across the room then back to november. "It's true that fire is destruction but it is also life. Fire is the human element for life and all things in it," he said smiling slightly. "Well it's not my business to know your past so I wont ask what happend," he said thinking to himself of his dead parents and his younger brother.

A small glimmer in the back of his mind grew into a light. It formed into his father and mother. The smile on his face quickly went away. He looked to be in a trance now or sleeping. He was looking into his mind to find away and block their memory. He'd had a depressing day and wanted to make it better hopefully. He shook it off and looked to November. "Well off all subjects that are bad now," he said winking slightly, "lets carry on a more pleasant conversation."

"oh? A more pleasent conversation hmn? Um well lets see.." November looked up at the ceiling as she tried desperatly to think of something pleasent to talk about.

"Well um..What about flowers? Everyone likes flowers! My favorit is the Iris, I think they are so pretty..I know its stupid to ask since your a male but do you have a favorite flower?"

Cid laughed and layed back. "I . . . dont know its name but its petals are pure white like snow and the center has a red spiral color leading from it." He closed his eyes and rose up from his position thinking of it. "I might be a male but a wolf enjoys beauties of the eye aswell," he said smiling before he opened his eyes and looked to th sky. "That flower only lives over my father's mountain," he added before looking to november again.

"Really? Wow! I bet its quite a sight! I wish I could see it. Do the bloom in bushes or as a single flower? Please tell me more. I've never heard of a flower like that before. What does it smell like?" November asked as she looked over at Cid.

"I'm glad even a wolf can enjoy beauty. I don't think most men talk about flowers because it may make them feel to feminine."

Cid nodded and closed his eyes once again, "It grows as a bush, and the smell is un explainable," he said smiling and taking in some air. "It reminds me of the mountains when I think about it but I can only say it smells much better than a rose and twice as beautiful as a magnolia," he added warmly smiling before taking a seat again. His eyes opened slowly, "I'll call the cartaker of the mountain, since my father is dead, and I'll have him send me one to show you." Cid nodded and laid back, "Well not many of my race think as I do but that would only be because they do not know what it's like to feel this old. I am at the ripe age of two-hundred, seventeen. My birthday was just two days ago. I only look 19 now."

Cid paused and yawned. "I feel old yet I can never look it," he said laughing abit, "yet I only feel old cause I have been thinking of my real age again," he added with laughter.

November smiled abit with a light laugh. "But its good to be that old, you should be very wise then. Or perhaps you age faster than your brain does. Then again I suspect that even old people go threw the same problems as those who are young right? I take it your people normally don't live as long as you do hmn?"

Cid laughed and nodded, "well they live fairly long but if we dont find our Lifemate, the one person whose heart beats the same pace as our own, we become a vampire in time. The ages bring us sorrow and pain then hatred. . . .Its madness that consumes us in the end and we choose to either walk into the sun and end ourselves or become the undead." Cid shook his head, "my memory was lost sometime back so I dont remember much but the basics I learned back in the mountains. I am no longer able to become the undead. When a carpathian stands under the blood moon, he is judged for his deads a vampire or a carpathian ancient. I was given the better of the two. I can live like a human and have the abilities of the carpathian in me." He popped his neck and cleared his throat.

"Not much else I can tell you from there. Im more like a wolf in general because I can only shapeshift into that." Cid looked to his hands and tried to imagine the wolf claw. It slowly shaped into the darkest of claws. as if the night itself had formed into this beasts arm. "It's quite remarkable, but alas I should be able to do more. I know it but cant think of it." Cid sighed and smiled before looking back to November.

"Well that is quite a story. I've read alot of books on vampires and I've never heard or read anything about your race. Its very strange..Still I suppose the world holds alot of mysteries that we cannot or rather do not know of. Hell even death is a mystery..there are a million possibilitys but thats a subject I would really like to avoid..I don't like talking about death..it takes me back to..unhappy times in which I don't want to relive." November said as she looked at his dark claw for abit longer.

"Perhaps the reason you can't do more is because your to stressed out. Or thinking to much on it. You should really try to relax. Especially after that incident. I'd hate to see something horrible happen to you again." She chuckled abit, "Especially after I worked so hard to bring you back."

Cid laughed abit before he felt the horrible cough creeping in his throat and his hand immidiatly (sp) covered his lips. It came soft at first then it horsened till he tasted metal. He hide his hand and whipped it on his pants. "Well," he said clearing his throat, "I suppose the worst is over, or seems anyway." He let his eyes fall to the ground before he continued, "well I havent found another, other than my little brother of course, like myself. We hardly live this long anymore as carpathians. Ussually a lifemate must be found in order to stay relativily human in nature. I used to know of others but when i try, i only remember the pain."

"Oh? I'm sorry..Have you ever found someone you've fallen in love with? I would think it would be absolutly wonderful..I've never found anyone I could really relate to. Then again I don't think that I'm someone who lets people in. I don't know...actually your the first person I have talked to here. I know that must sound really silly..but I'm serious. Course then again I'm glad. Your really nice..and your wolf form is really cute." November giggled.

"If you can move, maybe we can go somewhere else. It might be good for you to get up and walk around ya know?"

Cid paused and thought for a moment. He tried to sink into his mind but suddenly the pain returned. A small wolf-like whimper came from him as he winced abit. "I dont remember," he said shaking his head. Finally the pain ceased and he began to rub his head. "I'm sorry to hear that. But thank you for your compliment all the same," Cid smiled then rose to his feet.

"Alright, then where shall we walk to?"
