.xx¤ Personality: Emilio is a very lively and bubbly individual, you can say he’s the mood booster in the group; he’s also the jokester and a bit flamboyant. Emilio chooses not to get the cochlear implant is because of his deafness is a part of what makes him...him. He feels that he wouldn't be the person he is today if he gained hearing, he would be someone else. He became a more visual person like he's good at reading body language, using his hands in a non-signing motion during the rare times he talks. But don't let that nice boy-ness fool you, he can be very sassy if he wants to.

.xx¤ Biography: Emilio was born deaf, it was due to his mother falling ill during her pregnancy with him resulting in a deformation of his ear canals. Deafness is a spectrum divided by levels from mild to profound. Emilio’s deafness is classified between severe and profound. It is at the severity that hearing aids won’t improve much and the only option for him would be getting cochlear implants. As a child, the idea of getting the surgery scared him, the same thing when he was a teen but as he became an adult; he didn't see the necessity of it for himself. And that topic remains a sensitive and difficult topic in the deaf community.
Growing was indeed a challenge for Emiliothough it doesn't mean he didn't try. He won’t deny that he was a target of bullying in school because of his lack of hearing and how he felt isolated from his classmates most of the time but it was how he became independent. He also said that it’s his way to find out who’s his real friend. With a specialized education plan to accommodate his educational needs he was able to be at the top of his class year. Speech therapy was also a big help for him to be able to speak despite not being able to hear himself, although he’s more comfortable with signing.
Since he could remember all he wanted to do when grows up was to be a hero, he wants to save people, wanted to have people look up to him as a role model. He wanted to prove that all you need to be a hero is the will and dedication. Soon his story was known during the sports festival and several agencies wanted him as their intern. To this day he’s still with that agency as a proud search and rescue hero. He decided to move to the states for the opportunity and the "American Dream", though his sister begged him to take her with him though Caelia played it off like she's doing him a favour. But they all know she'd miss her brother too much if they were an ocean apart. It's been eight years since they began living away from home.

Seismic Senses: - Emilio can pick up the faintest vibrations through physical contact with the ground and other surfaces he touches, enabling him to perceive their surroundings as precisely as normal sight; in a way, he can sort of hear since sounds produce vibration. He is also able to sense the structure and materials of solid substances, including the presence of caves, material changes, structural weaknesses, etc. Like x-ray vision but can't directly see through solid material unless there's something there, like cave in a mountain.
Weakness: Anything not having physical contact with a solid surface evades detection and loose matter such as sand will distort perception.
