Where ghosts dwell

This is the thread for Specter's house/hideout. It is in a very insuspiciopus part of town that not many people go to unless they work there. There are many run down buildings that have been abandoned or are used only for storage. That is where this building sits...


But this building isn't much like the ones around it. This building is just an old shell of an old store that is used to hide the residence of an assassin. It is essencially a building inside of a building with seperate electric, water, gas, sewer...everything. And it is completly safe guarded from all intrusion. The walls of the interior building at completly concrete, reinforced with steel so that even an M-1 Abram tank would feel the effect of running into it. But inside, is a very luxurious house, made for a man who has very distinct taste.

The house starts off in a short entry hall that leads to all of the different locations in the house.


There arn't many rooms to choose from, but Specter likes it that way. The first room of any importance is the living room....


One of the most frequently used rooms in the house. It isn't actually THAT orange... the lighting makes it seem like it in this shot. It is designed for lounging around and being comfortable, justlike every livingroom should be. Specter has full home theater equipment and all the HDTV and all that good crap. Its all the little things that make life worth living. After the living room is the Kitchen,


Specter is still able to eat some amounts of human food, and so he keeps his kitchen stocked with, not only blood but, many different kinds of food. He keeps steaks for his guard dogs as well, and a few different types of alcohol as well. All of the other important rooms are on the second floor, like the Study.


This is where specter keeps all of the documentation for his missions and other important things. Weapon sales, vehicle information, target profiles and everything are all kept under lock and key in a safe in the wall, or under password and encyrption on his computer system, which is actually sitting on the wall right next to the doorwayt where it is out of this photo... The next key point is the Master Bathroom.


A custom bathroom to wake Specter up every night. The bathtub has whirlpool jets in it as well as a regular faucet and off to the left had side (Where the towel is hanging) is a large walk-in shower. And of course, after the bathroom is the Master Bedroom...


It isn't anything to terribly impressive, but it is layed out perfectly for it's owner. The bed is a custom made matress and the sheets are all made of the finest materials. One of the large walk in closets holds all of specters clothes, all arreyed just as he watns them, and behind the doors of second closet (behind a voice recognition passcode) is the weapons vault....


Like every stereotypical assassin, Specter keeps a very large assortment of firearms and melee weapons, all stored safly right next to the bedroom for ease of defense. The doors of the closet are backed with a thick sheet ot titanuim and the lock openes only when the right phrase is uttered and only when uttered by Specter.

The house is actually far away from any view of the outside world... All ofthe windows have large pitures behind them with backlighting to try and give some sort of semblance of outdoorsiness

The only person who knows the location of this dwelling, and the codes to even get into the house, is Specter. No one even tries to go into this building much anymore. There were some local kids who started hanging out there before, but fled once they found out that the place was 'haunted'.

Specter stopped on the top of the building and looked around slowly as he waited for Lily to show up. She wasn't far behind him. He waited patiently by the doorway that lead down into the building. he smiled as he stood there, leaning against the brick structure that held the large door that lead down into the depths. There were no lights on in the building at all. He just stood there and waited until she was standing right next to him," So.. what do you think? My side of town to your liking or not? At least I didn't drag you into Dominus terrotory, right?"

SHe smirked lightly. As she thought about how to reply. "Well, I bet the inside is much better than its first appearence?" Lily tilted her head looking around. Rarely anyone came here and it was obviouis.

No wonder It was hard to track him done...smart.... She thought to herself. she had some other thoughts as well but pushed them aside all in due time. She dug in her back pocket, taking out her cellphone. She turned it to vibrate just in case. Then after a moments hesitation she turned it off, flipping the battery out a removing a locator from it and destroying it.

He held out his hand patiently as he looked to her, taking the mask off so he could look at her with his own eyes. His waited for her to hand over the phone to him," You know I can't let you in with that. Picture phone and all. And after that little outburst, I may have to search you for any other types of tracking equipment." He looked her over for a moment and held back the slight smile that was slowly creeping over his lips. He shook his head and turned away," But yet, I know I don't have to...." He pulled open the door with a loud creak of old hinges of a metal door and held it open for her. The entire building was dark infront of them in the stairwell that lead downward. He smiled as his eyes adjusted and he lead the way through the darkness.

He lead the way all the way to the bottom of the stairs. It was a little bit of a hike, but it was all downhill so it didn't matter. As he reached the half way point he smiled and said," Honey.... I'm home..." He looked back to her and smiled mischeviously and walked on, after the silent, all but invisable beams of the first stage security system had shut down. He pushed onward down the rest of the steps to the lower floor of the building and stopped right next to what seemed to be a normal metal door. Except it had a handle on it just like a bank vault, or the hatch of a submarine or something of that nature, slightly hinting at the locking mechanism that held it shut. He looked to Lily again and smiled," You realise that, since I do trust you... If you break that trust, I will have to break you, Right?" He waited patiently for her response, still as a statue.

SHe had been silent while following him. A torrent of thoughts flooding her head.
Oh my...I shouldn't be here but I am...I should kill him but I'm not...I have to tell..but I know I won't. I..maybe...what should I do not like I care? do I?...wait this can't be happening...I got rid of the locator in my phone...I trust him and he trusts me...I shouldn't...hmmmm....this can be interesting it works both ways doesn't it? My friends are going to kill me..yet I can't tell and I know I never will

HIs question snapped her back to the present. "huh? oh yah...no worries..."
She wasn't bothering to hide her eyes...which held a mixed feeling. Something like doubt of knowing one shouldn't be doing something, yet complete trust.

He looked her over carefully. He aura was different, now that he was paying attention. She was acting odd. He raised his hand to her face and gently moved her face from side to side so he could see all of her," You know.... we can go somewhere else if you want to. Nothing is saying that I have to show you the inside of this place....."

She had let him move her head. As he spoke she laughedpulling away, as she smiled. "No...It's fine really...I just got absorbed in my thoughts. I would love to see it..." She roughly rubbed her eyes to prevent them from watering.

he sighed slightly," As you wish." In all reality he was happy that she wanted to come in. It would feel nice to have a woman in the house once again. It had felt so empty for so many years. Maybe now the house would get some more life to it like it used to have. Specter flipped open a small panel, hidden behind a false brick, and revealed a small keypad. He typed in a code... it seemed to be somewhere around 15 digits or more... and his fingers typed it out in a distinct rythem. It had taken ages to get this house built to the way he watned it and all the security sysems had cost as much in themselves as every other thing inside of the house...combined. Once he stoppe d typing there was a loud thump that told the tale of the locks retracting. Specter smiled as he cranked the circular handle around one and pushed the door open like it was nothing but the front door to a house. It swung quickyl and silently, but it was damn near a foot thick. He held the door open for her to enter the small cozt entry hall (Which now has a picture as well) before he followed her in and closed the door behind them before he turned on the lights to the house, revaling everything in the house room by room. He turned around slowly to her," You'll have to forgive me though. The hosue can seem a little excentric. Ihave a little portion of each of my houses in every house that I have. So each room feels liek I am somewhere else." He chuckled as he moved over to table and took off his weapons, setting them down.

Her eyes opened in awe as she looked from room to room. She seemed to take it all in within a matter of seconds. She followed him sitting up on the table. She was watching him carefully. She wondered about him but said nothing waiting for him to say something else.

He looked to her and smiled as he set the mask down," So.. why don't we go into the living room first. Give you a chance to get comfortable while I go and get changed out of this old drab outfit." he chuckled and left the weapons there as he headed off into the Living Room. he motioned to the couch," Take a seat, take a load off, relax, get comfortable..." he shuckled as he took of the utility belts that were across his chest and waist and leid them over the back of one section of the couch, leaving all of the others open for her to use," Remote is on the coffee table if you want. There is a wet bar over there" he pointed to the far side of the room to where the small bar estended off of the wall," You can have anything you like. Even 'Spiced" blood in there if you would like. All differnet kinds." He moved to the doorway again and turned to look at her," Take a look around if you would like, but I will be back in a few moments after I get out of this mess." he smiled and waited for her reply before he made any move of heading off...

((its alright. I get a chance to do that over lunch at work. extra hour for P.T. and then a half hour for lunch. Works pretty well that way...))

She laughed "all right ". She had memorized his face, and had said nothing. She slipped off the table moving over to the couch. Her hoody was making her hot, so she gto out of it. She was wearing a plain tight black t-shirt. She sighed folding it up and setting beside his weapons before sitting on the couch. It was soft and made her want to let out a shriek of glle. She withheld it however.


From rooftop to roof top the figure jumped. It was following a scent. Who was this figure one might ask? His name was jack. Long black hair covered his emerald green eyes. He was after his sister. She had disappeared again. He stopped right above where she was. He looked around how odd...didn't anyone ever come here. He stood at the edge of the rooftop.

Specter has just made it up to his room when a small light started flashing in the corner. No sounds or anything, just a pulsing red light. Specter growled angrily," Goddamnit..." He walked over to the set of closet doors on the right and muttered," The secrets of a troubled life..." The faint sound of locks retracting could be heard before he slide the door open, revealing a room full of alost any kind of weapon one could think of. Rifles, shotguns, machine guns, assualt rifles, RPG & Rocket launchers, Swords, Maces.... he had a small selection of everything. He walked in and grabbed two of his favorites. A USAS 12 fully automatic shotgun with its 25 round drum magazine, and his custom made P-90 submachine gun. The sub was on his back and the shotgun was in hishands as he closed the door. The locks instantly engaged again. he still had the black mask over his head from when he came home so the last thing he had to grab was the ghastly metal cover that went over his face. He looked to her as she sat on the couch," It seems someone decided to follow you here after all." He shook his head slowly," Stay here, I'll be back in a little bit once I find out who this is."

He turned quickly and pushed out through the massive front door and closed it behind him. It always opened from teh inside, but the outside was always locked. He ran up the stairs as fast as he could. The pressure sensative step right before the laser tripwires shut them all off as he reached the top of the building at top speed. Right as he got to the door his image vanished from sight. the door that lead to the roof flew open in a crash, but no one came out of it. The force that it opened with caused it to flip shut again. Specter looked around quietly around the roof to see who might have been there. The sensors were set up to tell him when anyone hit the roof. Inside f the building was set with a difrerent kind of alarm. He walked around slowly, looking to find the person who had come to invade his privacy.

As the door flew open jack turned quickly, a fire ball blazing brightly in his hand. He mutterred a curse under his breath, IN an instant the ball went out. He walked to the edge of the roof. He was obviously upset about something.

" Stupid girl...runs off...oh sure I'll be back don't worry" He was mimmicking lily with a fake voice. His foot crunched on something. He stopped stooping down to pick it up. The locator that had been in her phone. "What the hell..." He said more to himself since he thought he was all alone on the roof.

LIly had nodded but now she was unsure if she should have let specter go. Well it is his house she had told herself. Not like anymember of the crimson fangs even come out this far. Who'd be that stupid?

Specter had already moved behind the man and was watching him very carefully. The barrle of the USAS was only about 6 inches from his back, and the incidiary rounds that he loved to use would cause some SERIOUS fire damage to the flesh of a mortals, and it would easily be fatal for a vampire. He watched the man as he bent over to pick up the locator. He grinned evily as he planted his foot firmly into the man's a** to send him sprwaling over. He spoke up, but his voice seemed to echo from all around the roof towards the man. As he spoke, his voice was low and booming in the stranger's ear," Who the hell are you? And why have you come to the realm of ghosts? You dare to disturbthe spirits that dwell in these parts?" He knew that even vampires belived in ghosts and spirits. They would be stupid and blind not to since the damn things made for very nasty enemies when they appeared in the physical realm.Specter stoo there, aiming carefully at the man's head. He didn't want to have to attack anyone. He was hoping to scare the beleagered vampire off and away from his home....

JAck fell but was quickly back onto his feet. He chuckled dusting him self off. "A ghost you say ? Then why was someone else here...a girl..." JAck was cocky, I shall say this now. He didn't scare easily and most definately didn't beleive in ghosts. He sighed rolling his eyes. "I really don't have anything against you...especially since I must be crazy talking to the ******** air....Have you seen her? "
