「PERSONALITY」
Self-serving and manipulative, Scarlet will do whatever she can to get what she wants. She's a survivor and will immediately turn on those she has grown to care for just to preserve her own skin. Scarlet is a master at acting, often pulling various personalities to slip through danger or worm her way into something she wants.
Essentially, she's selfish; incredibly so. There wasn't any other example of living for her, and now Scarlet has no desire to discover any other way of life. She doesn't believe in doing things for others, really. She believes everyone is selfish. For her, every wolf has a personal goal for the things they do. Even a wolf being kind is selfish to her, as they're seeking the feeling of being morally correct or desire to feel good for their actions. There's nothing wrong with being selfish to her, either, she just wishes more wolves were honest about it.
This means she is inherently distrustful. Everyone has a motive and she sure has hers. She doesn't accept anything without knowing fully what it'll cost her. Scarlet is also a deceiver by nature and assumes most others are. She can't really fathom someone not using others for their own goals and motives, really.
Scarlet loves attention. More truthfully, she desires physical intimacy quite a bit. She's flirtatious and often a cheater in her relationships. To be quite honest, most of her relationships, whether platonic or romantic, mean little to her or are done to keep appearances. She knows to get far in life you need the right connections, and she knows her kind get further being in a strong family. She rather pretend to love someone and be safe then continue on as a nomad with no clan attached. It is likely to assume she'd cheat on any marriage she'd partake in.
She's a strong fighter and can be quick to anger if something she is currently working for is threatened. She doesn't take kindly to losing the progress in her motives and lacks patience. When wolves see through her act she's likely to bite first and ask questions later. Scarlet wants things her way, whatever way that may be at the current time.
She fears being weak and losing her ability to make her own decisions. Growing old terrifies her, as she runs a risk of going senile or losing strength in her limbs. As a result, she is interested in having as many children as possible to ensure they can take care of her. She hates the idea, really, but she rather be prepared for the future then laying in a ditch with no one to care for her. This does not mean she'd be the nicest mother, though.

█ || Aging ⋯ She enjoys the power she has right now. Losing it would ruin her.
█ || Vulnerability ⋯ That's how wolves die. She does not foresee herself allowing anyone close.
█ || Being Discovered ⋯ While a wolf here and there may see through her, the idea of being completely exposed frightens her.

█ || Meat ⋯ Any meat. She loves a good hearty meal.
█ || Lying ⋯ It feels good when she lies and gets away with it, which is often.
█ || Power ⋯ Anytime she has the upper hand she's happy.
█ || Swimming ⋯ Taking a nice break to swim is nice, and gets you clean in the process!
█ || Physical Contact ⋯ The attention boosts her ego, and honestly it's nice to snuggle here and there.

█ || Bitters ⋯ Anything bitter is instantly disgusting and should be set on fire.
█ || Genuine Emotion ⋯ She likes the barrier she creates. Actually showing real emotion that isn't a lie feels weak.

「BIOGRAPHY」
█ || Puppy ⋯
Her mother hadn't planned for her to be born. She had been traveling when she met a married Berserker and participated in a brief one-night affair. The husband immediately regretted his decision when his wife discovered the two in the morning. Scarlet's mother fled the scene and returned to her travels until the birth of one sole pup; Scarlet.
Scarlet's mother lied about a lot of things, but the one Scarlet enjoyed the most was the claim she was born out of love. Her mother would vehemently insist she met a male who was trapped in an unwanted marriage and wanted to run away with her. The reason he never did kept changing, but Scarlet enjoyed listening to her mother fumble around clumsily while telling the story. Maybe that was what drove Scarlet herself to lying constantly -- it felt like a game. Like a performance, even.
As a puppy she often lied to her mother. It wasn't hard, her mother wasn't the smartest Berserker out there. The better she got the happier Scarlet was. She liked putting on different faces every morning. Her mother was a selfish creature throughout Scarlet's childhood. Often, Scarlet's mother would eat whatever was hunted if there wasn't enough to share, and would hog resources. Scarlet didn't mind, it only taught her to look out for herself.
Eventually, her mother made the ultimate mistake and stumbled upon a rather aggressive clan. They allowed her to pass with a price; Scarlet. Her mother happily gave away the pup to ensure her own skin was left intact. Scarlet does not remember what happened to her mother after, nor her name.

█ || Adult ⋯
Scarlet was kept as a prisoner of sorts. Made to serve the clan, she worked endlessly. This didn't bode well with her. She resented being held prisoner and despised the lack of control over her own life. As she grew she waited, watching her body grow in strength and become fairly strong due to the work she had to do. Eventually, the time came when she snapped, murdering the guard positioned to watch her den and then escaped. Delighted in her power and reclaim of her life she decorated the paw she used to murder him, as well as her muzzle.
Scarlet, finally on her own, traveled for quite some time. She happily got herself into trouble whenever she could, including having a quick fling and dumping the kids on a Dire she crossed paths with briefly. Shortly after the birth of her first litter she began to set her eyes on finding a Berserker husband -- only to ensure she had power behind her name of course.
