With most people being busy at the festival, Selene was currently along at the courtyard, relaxing after being at the cafeteria for the entire morning, and being told that she could relax and have some time off. She was thankful about the man allowing her to be hired as an assistant chef so that she could at least gain some money. In fact, the hot beverages that she served garnered attention, the reason why she became busy. "Glad to know that my latte art has become a good hit..." the brunette murmured to herself, staring at the sky above. Being at the forest does have its own set of advantages, the fresh air being a prime example, and the barista inhaled it. The fragrance was not that pronounced, but at least the sensation was clean. Totally different from the city life back in Los Angeles.
Man, she was started to get excited even more. Maybe she would end up meeting someone familiar back then? Or she might check out the festival also if she would have the time. Nonetheless, all Selene could do was to savor the present moments while she still had some time to kill.

Shout to the Heavens, until my body withers away
The hands I dirtied, turning my back on the Gods ▬▬▬ ▬▬（ ♫ ）▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬（ ♪ ）▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬（ ♫ ）▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ A gentle sigh escaped a tall male who was currently sitting at a table enjoying a cup of coffee, long purple strands that had fallen loose from his braid blowing gently in the light breeze as he relaxed. The male known as Kei had gotten up extremely early that morning and gone for a run around campus before the hustle and bustle of the new semester had begun. He always preferred going in the morning because the weather was always much more enjoyable and the forest brought him a sense of peace as he listened to the sound of nature around him as he moved about. Though he had finished his run shortly before the festival started and knew he should probably go set up the booth for his class but chose to visit the cafeteria instead. As much as he loved what he taught and was excited to meet his new students and greet old ones he was not in the mood to deal with people just yet since he hadn't slept well the night before, coffee was his only saving grace. However now that he had caffeine in his system he probably should actually do his job before the dean ripped him a new one so reluctantly he stood up and moved to leave. However before he got too far he caught the sight of a familiar face and stopped in his tracks, confusion on his face. Where had he seen that woman before? After wracking his brain for a few moments it finally dawned on him and surprise replaced the confusion. What was she doing here? Didn't she work at a cafe in California? Did she remember him even though it was years ago? Well only one way to find out. At that thought Kei approached the woman from behind as he spoke, his voice playful, "Well, well look who we have here, long time no see sweetheart." It was at this point he stopped behind her and removed the sunglasses he had been wearing, grateful for the clouds that were currently hiding the sun. He then leaned around the women and grinned as he spoke, his voice now more sensual than playful, "Did ya miss me beautiful?"▬▬▬ ▬▬（ ♫ ）▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬（ ♪ ）▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬ ▬▬（ ♫ ）▬▬ ▬▬▬▬ Trembling, seeking an answer in an abyss of darkness

Selene knew that she was starting to get bored, so she was about to stand up, if not for the familiar face approaching her. Her heart skipped a beat at that familiar nickname; only one person would call her that way. The barista let out a small gasp, "K-Kei? Is that you?!?" The brunette then let out a laugh; man, it had been a long while since their last time together, before he had to leave for another tour and she finished her internship. But still, they remained as friends, and Selene was actually a bit too reluctant to take a step forward. She still had a lot to learn about that mysterious male, after all, and learning more was better than to regret on something reckless. There were some things that required through thinking despite her reckless demeanor.
"Never thought I would see you again. What brings you here?" she asked after composing herself, straightening her posture while gazing at him. Selene brushed a section of her hair that was off her ponytail close to her ear as she waited for his response.
