This guild was one of the best things that ever happened to me in my teen years. I know there isn't very many of you still on Gaia but I wanna say thank you to everyone that I had the opportunity to play ZOMG with and just have a conversation with.

When I joined I was a heartbroken loser looking for some sort of friendship and I found it here. Y'all were amazing and I appreciate every single one of you.

I honestly still wish this place was as active as it used to be because I would be here every single day.

I hope ya'll are doing well in your adult lives and I wish ya'll the best.

I second this so much! I made so many amazing friends here (some of whom have never been able to escape me now) and I can't imagine how I'd have coped through all that emo teenage angst without you all heart

I've had a very nostalgic last couple of days looking back on old memories of my childhood and teen years. Gaia was an important aspect during my teen years, and this guild especially. 3nodding

I was often on the sidelines just reading through threads, or observing others interact in zOMG since I was too shy and didn't really know how to interact at that time but felt strong connections to ya'll and look back fondly on that time. heart hope everyone is doing well in these trying times!

Oh man, the late 2000s and early 2010s were like a mini era for me when it came to developing friendships online. It's good to see people doing well. I still look back fondly on all the MMOs I tried out, starting w/ zOMG of course. I usually check back on whenever the youtube algorithm shows me shorts on how Gaia is currently doing.

An update on me, I obtained my associate's in baking & pastry arts, and after 1 year of achieving my dream of working in pastry at a hotel I decided to resign due to the working hours (no holidays, having my off days switched at a moment's notice etc) and the cuttthroat environment. Now I am an accountant for a fortune 500 company but being interviewed for another position at a different place that is willing to pay more. I still bake, usually for co-workers and get tips from it.

Wow. Its 2 years after Cow posted this but its so true. What a wonderful place this has been. Isn't it funny how something like this can become a part of your past in such a big way?
