Jack would nod his head when she shook her hand and gave a nice smile "Pleased to meet you Skye and friend, I'll get you there no problem!" the larger man would then stand and walk up to the butcher's counter and walked around it before opening up the register "Hey I'm taking my pay now, I gotta run!" he called put to the currently bloody butcher whom was now gutting the carcass and grunted. The man was clearly not pleased that someone else was going through the cash register but he grunted none the less, allowing him to take the money that was owed. Jack would then walk to the door and walked out before looking at girls and giving a smile "Well come on and stick close ladies, the crowds are starting to get thick" Jack quickly led down a much more empty alley way and looked over his shoulder to make sure they were still close "So what brings you ladies to this town?"

Skye watched as he made his way to the counter and started digging through the register, though, he'd at least told the butcher he was doing so. When he returned and went to the door, telling them to stick close and that the crowds were getting more dense, Skye swallowed, knees feeling weak. She didn't like the idea of walk out in dense crowds. Taking a breath, she started to follow, holding Selena's hand. As they left, she spoke so softly only Selena would hear her.

"I don't know if he is really just a helpful person or not, so, be ready for anything. I should be able to fly you up to a rooftop at least should we need to get away for any reason.” She then turned as he spoke to them and got a little closer so he would be able to hear her. "We're just accompanying family on business. I'm only fourteen, so...I-I'm not really familiar with any specifics..."

Selena continued to hold Skye's hand, making sure she didn't let it go, she was still munching on the jerky as well, nervousness was still strong making eating an easy choice to distract. The man would go into the butchers register and take money out, which was rude in her own opinion because it wasn't his but, the butcher seemed fine with it at least to a point to grunt. Selena followed Skye closely being directly behind her as she was still nervous of the man herself, although even Skye was weary of the man enough to speak about an escape route just in case something happened. When she told her the escape plan for any reason needing, she would look at Skye and give a small nod, Skye already took into account that Selena wouldn't turn into her avian form because of reasons, and even if she wanted to, the alley was too small for her avian form to even move. As they continued to move the question about why they were in the town, Skye made it pretty clear, family on business, and Selena was simply following and sticking close.

Jack laughed a bit when Skye explained that they were only here because of their family bringing them along "Ahh I see, well I hope you ladies can at least make the most out of the trip as best you can" he then chuckled a small bit as he noticed the crowds were a lot thinner in the area "Although I gotta admit, there's nothing too interesting in this town" he stated before throwing a smirk over his shoulder and passing into another nearby ally way away from more of the people since Jack was being as mindful as he could for Skye since she was scared of crowds of people as she explained "So this Office, is your parents there or a friend?" he asked curiously. Jack didn't want to drop them off at someplace where they'd get lost again but then again they asked for it by name so that was unlikely but still.

Skye listened politely as he wished them a good remainder ofg their trip and voiced his opinion of the town. She had to admit, it was fairly small and...rustic was probably the polite and more accurate term. She led Selena around a corner after him as he took note of crowds and took care to avoid them at all costs. When he asked if their parents or friends of theirs were at this office, she shook her head."Um...well...know, but, my Father owns the company. It spans most of Europe and even has several stations in the States to the west. I have an ID on me so, I can prove who I am and they can get hold of my older brother if he's already been there. If he hasn't, all we have to do is wait for him. He knows I'd go there first and he was scheduled to meet with the branch supervisor today.”

Selena kept close and followed as best as she could, keeping up with Skye as she would guide her around the corners the man. she was grateful the man wasn't targeting her with questions as she would still be silent about answering anything, it made her feel better and more comfortable when she wasn't the one talking, of course even if the man did ask her questions Skye would probably jump in answering them for her, well as best as she could. There was one question though that made her wonder why it was asked, 'whom was there waiting for them' it was a weird question to ask but it could be taken two different ways, one was that it was weird to want to know whom they were meeting, like it mattered to him, while the other could be seen as a caring individual who wanted to make sure they weren't getting lost again. It was about this point she finished her jerky and swallowed the last bit she had in her mouth, it was good, but now she felt she had to do something about the food, as payment for helping if they did make it to the post office.

Jack listened to Skye and to say the least, he was impressed with what she told him "Really now? Well damn...er..dang...That's pretty awesome" he laughed a small bit after censoring himself, he had to watch his mouth around kids after all. He then stopped as a passing cart blocked the ally for a moment before moving along "Well I'm glad that you ladies will be OK there, I'll cross my fingers that your brother will be there so you two don't have to wait" he laughed good naturedly before looking off into the distance before turning his head to the ladies and giving them a thumbs up "Well looks like we're approaching your destination" with that he lead the ladies down the road until they were a few feet away from the Office "Well this is where we part ways, it was a pleasure meeting the two of you" Jack would then grin as he crossed his fingers in front of his chest as a sign of wishing them good luck. He'd then turn around and offer a smile before beginning his trek back down the road.

Skye didn't mind the swearing really, it only got annoying when used excessively or aggressively to her. When he came to a stop, so did she, still keeping a cautious distance back. She simply offered a polite, if shy, smile when he expressed his wish that things worked out well for them. When he mentioned their proximity to the offices, she craned her neck as saw the sign for their local Imports and Communications office. When he prompted that they would be splitting ways, she responded by waving to him, knowing her voice would be too soft to carry past the people around them. With that, she led Selena into the office.

She sat her down and managed to get the attention of the receptionist and presented her ID and explained the situation. When she returned, shew sat beside Selena. "The receptionist said Jay hasn't been by yet. And the manager offered to let us wait in his office. If you want, we can go in there. But, they're sending someone to find him and trying to call him. I don't think he'll answer really...he's probably yelling down alleys on his way her right now. Just...don't let Daddy know okay? He'd skin Jay alive for losing sight of us.”

Selena kept following until they came to a stop, she followed Skyes lead, taking the step back when she did, Skye looked around the corner to see the place they were seeking, the Import place, she would soon see that the man would leave, waving to the two girls as he left, she was planning to give him money as to pay for the jerky she ate but before she could even think he began leaving and her shyness refused to let her get out a sound to try and do it, so she looked back downward knowing that didn't go as planned. she would then just let herself be led by Skye to the office. She seemed to sit down and looked at her feet as Skye went and talked to the receptionist and got information. She didn't raise her head until Skye returned telling her what she learned. "I won't tell him, It was my fault that he lost sight of me....i caused you to try and follow me as well" she stated looking at Skye "I'll wait where ever you want to stay...Though...The office would be....less in public right?...wouldn't you prefer that?" she asked her. Before she would look at the door then back to Skye "should....have we paid him...for the...jerky and such?" she asked Skye wanting to know her take on that idea she had regardless of the fact she failed to do so on her own accord.

Skye hugged Selena as she blamed herself. "Stop blaming yourself alright? Things happen. We can't change it, only accept it's happened and try to do better next time. Besides, I let go of your hand, so, I'm partly to blame myself." When Selena suggested going to the office as offered, Skye nodded and took her hand. She started leading the way when Jay came bursting through the doors. He saw them and rushed over. The largest of their family, he had no issue scooping both of them up as though they were toddlers, and held them close. It took several minutes of reassuring him they were fine and explaining things before he set them down. But, he took their hands and took them into the scheduled meeting. Afterwards though, they left and made their way back to return back home.

Selena would remain Silent as Skye kept reassuring Selena that she wasn't to blame for the whole wandering off, Though she still felt like she was responsible. Regardless of how much she made her feel like she wasn't responsible, Selena would still hold that thought in her head as for herself, though it was a bit relieving to be told she wasn't the one at fault. "o....okay...I'll try and do better next time" she agreed as she would begin to follow Skye to the office only to be stopped by the sound of a door opening and soon being swept into a big hug by Jay which was of course was a bit unexpected but seemed natural. Skye would do a lot of explaining and such with Jay to make sure they were on the same page a well as the assurance that they were fine. She was soon brought into the meeting room, to watch a meeting, something she had only done once while with them, it was boring and of course she sat in the corner or the closest point to the corner as again she wasn't good around people. After the meeting ended she would follow Jay and Skye Home.
