	This the day after xmas. Which means only one thing to Cossi: Deals on EVERYTHING! The little mer woke up later than usual and decided to physically go out to buy things rather than shop online. Besides, there may be sales on those cute boxes of instant films. That way when she does her online giveaways, she can slide in a souvenir of herself in it too. She was thinking about which boxes she want to buy and what kind of stencils she should get to decorate postcards with. It was also high time to buy some more hairspray. Having hair covering her face was just unacceptable to her standards. Cossi hopped onto her hoverboard and was headed towards the market.

	Clavicle usually had to go through hoops for Sistrum to even allow her a moment of time outside, but after a rather alarming incident involving one of his older, more cherished books, she'd found herself shoved out the door faster than she could blink, his murmurings of a need for 'quiet contemplation' reason enough for her to pout. She didn't want to go out that badly, but the damage was done. A small, chiming version of a sigh escaped her, but she took a deep breath and aimed for the closest market, hoping that maybe she'd be lucky and find him something that would be a really good replacement and he'd forgive her that much faster! Excitement had her taking off at a run, and Clavicle running was concern enough, but add that to her lack of coordination.... It took her only moments to crash head-first into someone else and trip over her own legs in the process. "OOMPH! I'm s-so s-sorry!"

	For once she didn't bring her expensive video camera out with her. She'd brought along a Polaroid Phonyroid instant camera, which was safely tucked inside a hard case and dangling around her neck with a strap. Her hoverboard was set to a slow speed so it won't hurt anyone if they accidentally decided to step on it or bump into it. She let out a mellow yawn as she took her time getting to where she needed to go. The board humming smoothly as it hovered over the cement road. "K what---" before she could finish her sentence, her board shot up in an awkward angle and the mer rolled off of it and tumbled onto the ground. She had no idea what just happened for her mouth caught onto something soft. she spat and spat and swatted at it, only to realise that it was a lock of green hair that got into her mouth. " Oh...my...god.." Quickly, she flung her hooves, pretending to not have touched it at all. "A-Apology accepted?" she replied, half questioning. "Are you practising for track and field? 'Cause you know.. that crash sent me flying.." ChexaRain Ooo maybe my mer can help her decide which book would be great to buy for Sistrum as an apology gift? AFTER they hang out and have some fun for a bit first, i guess (:

	In an instant, Clavicle shot to her feet, wobbly or not, and began fretting over the other. "I'm t-terrible at running, I s-should've just w-walked to t-the market." She ran hooves over the other, looking for any signs of pain or marks from being injured before she awkwardly patted her on the head, blushing furiously at the invasion of boundaries she'd just accomplished. "No... not t-track..." she squeaked out, nervousness getting the better of her as he sentence tapered lower and lower. "I was... h-heading to the.... market f-for a b-book... for a-a friend..." She let out a high-pitched sound of discomfort and quickly tried to hide her face behind her longest strands of hair, whether they hid her or not entirely out of mind. 	Cossi watched the unicorn bab, whom seems to be just a bit older than her, looking rather flustered. She had somewhat sat up already but when Clav's hooves touched her all over she couldn't help but giggle. "So not a runner then?" She looked at her clumsy nature and giggled again. " I didnt quite jear what you have said but the market is where I'm headed towards." Cossi picked up her hoverboard and turned it back on again. Its humming sound was heard once more. "If you wanna lift i can take you along with me, " she offered. Besides, this thing is fun. Only mers gets one. She grinned and held out a hoof to Clav. "Hi, I'm Cossi by the way." ChexaRain i forgot how annoying it is to use gaia on the phone.

	Not quite trusting her voice, Clavicle nodded but perked up in a second at the mention of the market. "Y-Yes, that w-would be p-perfect!" She bounces enthusiastically, only stopping when the introductions started. "Oh... u-uhm.... C-Clav..... that's m-my name." She shook the offered hoof with both of her own. It must've been a luckier day, if she happened to run into someone also headed in the direction she needed to go, but at the same time.... she really didn't want to end up breaking the board, it looked important. 	"C-Clav?" teased the mer. "I'm C-Cossi," she repeated again, but flung herself at the filly and wrapped two legs around her neck, hugging her. "Come on, get on the hoverboard. If it breaks down, i can get a new one. But this one has been with me for a while and functions like new." Cossi flopped onto her board and scooted over, patting a hoof onto the board, motioning for her new friend to sit. "I promise i won't push you off of it," she said with a sweet smile. Her sparkly body glistened in the sunlight. ChexaRain this is the time where i pass out typing words on gaia.

	She smiled shyly and climbed aboard, after giving it a very thorough once-over for any flaws and being more than apprehensive about it, but hiding it well. After making herself as comfortable as possible for an accident-prone filly, Clav looked in the direction they would be headed, "Is th-there something... y-you're looking for at t-the market?" She questioned quietly, though she made an effort to speak louder due to the earlier fiasco. She didn't want the ride to be awkward and silent, and knowing her, it would end up that way. 	It was as if Cossi was laying down on the board sideways, not afraid of rolling off, and well aware of what her device could take. Her mertail flopped lightly in the air, never once touching the ground. She too, looked at what Clav was staring at in the distance. "We are heading that way. Yes, and...I need to get some instant film for my Phonyroid camera." She held her camera case in front of her face for the filly to see as she let her take a peek inside. "They make great souvenirs once they instant develop within a minute," she said, letting her camera case dangle around her neck again after closing the flappy part. "By the way, are THOSE real tattoos?" she asked, pointing all her hooves at the purple filly and her bones markings. 	Clav blinked, trying to hide the sparkle in her eyes at the idea of an instant camera. She should look into getting one of those as well... "Sounds l-like a lot of f-fun! I n-need a book." She wrinkled her nose lightly, "Probably s-something on E-Egyptian... uhm.... i-instruments." At the mention of her markings, Clav looked at them before speaking. "My c-cutie mark? They're a-all part of i-it." She flushed, never having given them a second thought after Sistrum had pointed out hers was a lot larger than usual, but not an issue that required a doctor as she had suggested. 	"You know, when we get to the shop i like to buy film from, because the prices there are cheaper than the others," Cossi went on, steering the hoverboard to the left and down the quieter side of the marketplace, "we should take some selfies, and i will let you choose what border you want, for keeping me company all this time." The sparkly mer was a sweetie at heart and does not mind giving away gifts to cheer others up, even if only ever temporarily. "Books huh?" she eyed the new friendly filly, "and about Egyptian things! That, sounds interesting- i am always open to learn new information as i grow." The hoverboard hummed smoothly past a family of three who just bought a lot of food from the bakery. The bab's eyes only grew wider as she found out that the cluster of bones was en entire cutie mark covering most of Clav's entire back leg. "That is sooo cooooolllll!" she screamed, excitedly, bouncing up and down on the hoverboard. ChexaRain

	Clav found herself clinging harder and harder to the hoverboard as the other's excitement grew little by little. U-Uhm, yes, S-Sistrum likes books..." She flushed, but remembered the comment about a boarder. She blinked a few times, "What k-kind of boarders do t-they have?" FrostyPeaches Hold on, I'm alive. lol

	"You HAVE to show me what books you want to buy for this Sistrum phony later, ok?" she asked, really interested in a new topic she knows little about. "It's not the same researching it online compared to getting to hear it live from you. " Cossi nodded her head happily up and down, steering the hoverboard towards her favourite shop that slowly crept into view. "Here, look at these," she said to Clav, showing a few samples of her Phonyroid pictures. "These are just plain looking solid borders, but if you pay more, you get the ones with cute characters or flowers or cake, real neato. Plus, we're almost there, to my favourite store."
