█▌ Brandon was more than happy to help Evangelina put on her new necklace. He was really glad that she liked what he’d picked. After only spending such a short time with her at David’s premier, he’d had to guess what she’d like. In the end, he’d gone with his instinct and his gut. He’d seen the pendant and known that it would look stunning on her – and as she turned around to face him, he saw that he’d been right. The necklace looked amazing on her. Feeling his cheeks heat in a slight blush, he smiled to himself. “It looks amazing on you, Evangelina.”


Reaching out he accepted the tea she offered without a second thought. Before he could take a sip however, she placed a hand on his chest. Looking down into her eyes for a moment, he watched as she leaned forward and placed a sweet kiss on his cheek. Despite his best efforts, he just couldn’t seem to stop blushing. Smiling to himself, he took a sip of his tea, holding his cup with both hands. He hadn’t realized how late it was getting until Evangelina said something. Glancing at the clock he was surprised to see that it was getting close to midnight. Brandon was a night owl by nature, so he was used to staying up late, but there was no telling how early Evangelina usually went to bed. Considering that she’d kept a tight schedule until recently, he suspected that she was used to going to bed much earlier in the night.

Realizing that Evangelina had told everyone that she was staying at Lucy’s for the night, he had to wonder if she wanted to head to her friend’s house or if she wanted to stay the night, with him. Looking down at his tea, he nodded slightly. “Um, I know that we literally just decided to start dating, but if you want, you can stay here for the night.” Glancing over at Evangelina, he shrugged a shoulder. Despite his nonchalance, he felt his cheeks heat in another blush. “I’ll take the couch and you can have my bed. Or, if you want, I can take you to Lucy’s. I just want you to be comfortable.” Did he want her to leave? No. Did he want her to be happy and comfortable? Yes. Would he do whatever she wanted? Hell yeah; he wasn’t about to screw this up.

“Oh wow, Brandon…That’s a bit scandalous don’t you think~?” Glancing up at Evangelina, for a moment he thought she was serious, but seeing her expression and registering her tone, he knew she was just teasing him. She smiled and giggled sweetly before nudging him playfully. “I’d love to stay over. Besides, it’ll be a hassle getting to Lucy’s. And I did mention that I didn’t want to leave you for my birthday~.” Grinning like a fool, he smiled into his cup as he took another sip of his tea – he wasn’t thirsty, he just wanted to hide the goofy look on his face. After a moment, he placed his cup aside.

“As you wish~.” He didn’t know if she’d get the movie reference – The Princess Bride, one of his all-time favorites – but he said the words none the less. “Give me a few minutes to change the sheets on the bed. I’ll be right back.” Heading out of the kitchen, he walked down the hall and stopped at a side closet to grab two sets of sheets – one for his bed, there was no way he was having her sleep on dirty sheets, and the second set for the pull out couch-bed. He’d changed the sheets on his bed a few days ago, but that was no excuse. He wanted to impress Evangelina, make her feel comfortable…do the little things to let her know that he cared, that she was cherished.

To his surprise, Evangelina followed him down the hall. Glancing over his shoulder he caught sight of her yawning and rubbing her tired eyes in an adorable, endearing way. Stepping into his room, he didn’t hesitate to strip his bed of the plush comforter, pillows and sheets. He was quick to replace the sheets before making up the bed for her to climb into. “Your bed is ready, M’lady.” He said with a smile as he stepped a bit closer. “The master bathroom is through there,” He said as he gestured to the doorway to the left of the bed, “and if you need anything, I’ll be right out in the living room.” He’d been about to ask for a good night hug when Evangelina stepped close and wrapped her arms around his torso. Smiling to himself, he wrapped his arms around her to hold her close. After a few moments, he went to let her go, but she refused to loosen her hold on him. Chuckling lightly, he held her for a few moments before she reluctantly let released him. He was glad to know that she was reluctant to let him go – he felt the exact same way. Leaning down, he placed a light kiss on her cheek. “Good night, Evangelina. Sleep well.”

Brandon stepped out of the room and watched Evangelina closed the door behind him. Releasing a small, yet happy sigh, he headed back into the living room to set up his own bed. Once the pull-out couch-bed was made with new sheets, a plush blanket and a few pillows, he went around the apartment to turn off lights. He left the light over the stove on and a few night lights in the hallway, in case Evangelina needed to get up in the middle of the night. Slipping under the covers, he settled in for the night, a happy smile on his face – even as he slept, he looked completely content.

Evangelina very much enjoyed Brandon's blushing face, it was definitely an adorable sight. She found herself smiling in content as she proceeded to drink the tea she had made. It was noticeably very late and she began to think about how long it would take to go back to Lucy and hers shared place. It wasn't that long of a distance but still a good drive there. She looked to Brandon as he generously offered up his place for her to stay. Evangelina didn't want him to go through the trouble of driving her to Lucy's this late. And of course, she wanted to stay with the male for as long as her birthday remained. The blonde decided to tease her new boyfriend a bit before telling him that she would happily stay over. She giggled as he tried to cover up his grinning face. "Come on, you can't hide that face from me silly~" Smiling, she finished her tea as he excused himself. Evangelina quickly washed her cup and Brandon's so that he wouldn’t have to later on. She then went to grab her bag and put it on her back.

Looking toward where Brandon had gone, she walked there and saw him taking out new sheets. She found herself yawning and allowing a tired smile to grace her lips. He was too kind to her. Evangelina felt her heart warm, she always appreciated the small things people did to her. It wasn't so often someone would make a huge effort to make her as happy as she could be. But Brandon seemed to have that down very well. Rubbing her eyes, she tiredly waddled after Brandon as he began to change the sheets on his bed. Her tired yet happy smile remained as he told her where the bathroom was and that he'd be just in the living room if she needed him. Evangelina wrapped her arms around his torso and held him close. Feeling him hug back made her snuggle into his chest a bit. After a moment, he began to loosen his grip so she could go on and sleep. The blonde didn't want to let go whatsoever though. She felt Brandon hug her once again as he chuckled at her actions. With a lot of hesitation, she finally let go after a good couple of minutes. "Good night Brandon, sweet dreams~" Once the male kissed her cheek and stepped out, she gave him a small wave and gently shut the door.

Walking into the bathroom, she removed her bag and took out her travel kit that she took everywhere in case she needed it. She kept a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, and other items of the sort. It was at times like these that she was glad she packed the kit and didn't listen to those who told her it was excessive. Once she finished up in the bathroom she then went back out and crawled into Brandon's large bed. Evangelina took one of the pillows and hugged it close to her, spooning it as she began to rethink today's events. A lot had definitely happened and yet, she wouldn't trade this day for absolutely anything. She was reunited with Brandon, she had a nice and simple birthday, and now she found herself in a relationship. Slowly, Evangelina began to doze off into a peaceful sleep with nothing but happy thoughts.

Evangelina found herself awake at around 2:45 in the morning. For whatever reason, she couldn't seem to go back to sleep and she felt a bit lonely. She hadn't felt that way in a long time. Sometimes as a child she would go into her brother's room and crawl into bed since he was always so comforting. Of course, she grew out of it easily, but for some reason the same feeling she felt as a kid returned. Slowly, she got up from the bed and held the pillow in her arms tightly. The blonde exited the master bedroom and quietly closed the door. Her tired eyes scanned the area as she made her way to the living room. Trying not to wake Brandon up, she lifted the covers up and slipped under them. Evangelina looked up at Brandon's face and smiled softly at how peaceful he looked. Putting the pillow near her head, she got comfortable and wrapped her arm around Brandon.

As she snuggled into his side, the feeling of loneliness disappeared almost instantly. "Brandon...I know you're sleeping but...I want to thank you again. Words can't express how special you've made my birthday. While I've enjoyed my birthdays before, recently they've just... I don't know. I didn't have my brother as near as I wanted. I can't blame anyone for that though. My father isn't how he was before I became an adult...our relationship has changed. And just the overwhelming and extravagant parties weren't...me. But today, it felt like I was a teenager again with no cares in the world. Free to enjoy the day exactly how I wanted. Which is peacefully with someone or some people that care about me. It reminds me of my past Birthdays because like before, I didn't have to worry about business or pleasing other people. Thank you for being so kind to me. Thank you for being extremely sweet and caring. I'm glad I was able to meet you at that party... she whispered not expecting him to hear a word. Either way, she was happy to let that out in the open. If she could she would thank him a million more times.

Generally, Brandon had a hard time falling asleep. While most people could turn their brains off and power down, he found that his brain liked to do the exact opposite at this time of night. Right before sleep was the time when all his ideas came to him, or when he’d rethink his day or rehearse his lines for an upcoming roll. Generally, he was a night owl by nature, so laying here, when it was only midnight, trying to sleep was hard enough. Then add in the fact that girl of his dreams, his new girlfriend, was just down the hall, asleep in his bed? It was a struggle.

He tossed and turned for over an hour before he finally got his brain to calm the hell down and stop replaying every nuance of the night, every moment he’d spent with Evangelina. He wasn’t going to lie, he’d had high hopes for the evening – sneaking into her birthday party in disguise, to sweep her off her feet…She hadn’t recognized him, which had been what he and David had been going for, but it hadn’t been the fairy tale dance at the ball he’d been hoping for either. She hadn’t recognized him, not even a little and had felt awkward dancing with someone she thought was a stranger. But, it’d all worked out in the end when he’d taken off his mask to reveal who he was. And their kiss…he’d wanted to kiss her several times since their last one, but he didn’t want to rush anything. The last thing he wanted to be was needy or clingy.

Hugging an extra pillow, Brandon forcing himself to stop thinking, to just relax into the bed and go to sleep…the sooner he went to sleep, the sooner he’d see Evangelina in the morning. But it was so hard to not think about her…not when she was so close. By the time Brandon did fall asleep, it was just past 2:00am. Laying on his side, he was calm and tranquil, silent. He didn’t snore like some guys and he wasn’t one to move around a lot while he slept. But he wasn’t the heaviest of sleepers either. So, when Evangelina slipped into bed with him, he stirred, but he didn’t awaken, at least not fully.

As Evangelina moved closer, only to wrap an arm around his torso, Brandon’s sleepy self, subconsciously moved closer, toward the girl he was surely dreaming about. Although he wasn’t awake and aware to hear Evangelina’s words of gratitude, something must have translated through, because once she was finished talking, Brandon, his eyes still closed, moved closer to his girl, only to wrap his arm around her to pull her close. Cradling her against his heart, he nuzzled her hair and sighed happily in his sleep, as he rested his cheek on the top of her head.

“Eva…” Whispered, barely audible, Brandon smiled in his sleep and held the girl of his dreams close, unaware that while he was dreaming of her and their shared dance at the masquerade, he actually held her in his arms.

Out of nowhere, she felt arms wrap around her tightly and pull her close. Her head was lightly pressed against Brandon's chest as he nuzzled her hair and rested his cheek on top of her head gently. She blinked in surprise, then instantly she felt herself relax in his embrace. When she heard him quietly whisper her name, she found herself blushing. It left her to wonder what the boy was dreaming about. Whatever it was, he definitely looked peaceful and content. Moving her head slightly, she placed a small kiss on his chin before moving so that her ear would rest against his heart. Listening closely, she let the sound of his heartbeat fill her ear. It was definitely a very peaceful sound that seemed to mesh well with the silence of the night. Closing her droopy eyes, she continued to listen to her boyfriend's heartbeat. To think that she was doing something like this when not long ago she had been worried about if she'd be able to see the male again after their time apart and their fathers. And yet, here she was feeling more safe and comfortable by each passing second. It was something that she hadn't felt in quite some time. In a few moments, the male's heartbeat slowly but surely lulled the female into a deep and tranquil sleep.

The morning sun peeked through the window and shone down on the couple as they slept soundly. The slightly cold morning air made it all the more comfortable. Turning to her side, she opened her emerald eyes and glanced toward where the morning light was creeping through. A soft smile made its way to her lips as it's warmth and the cold air seemed to make her feel at peace. Stretching out her body a bit, she looked toward the sleeping male next to her. Quietly, she got off of the bed and crept to the bathroom to freshen up a bit and allow herself to wake up more. She washed, splashed water on her face and ran her hands through her bed hair. It was the normal thing she would do wherever she went. Whether she was at home or at a hotel, she always did her morning routine in the bathroom before she went back to bed and allowed herself to laze around for a bit. It was always a nice thing to do before getting ready to endure a busy day. It allowed her time to herself and was a nice way to unwind and be without stress for a bit. Once she was finished, she silently walked back toward the living room, to the pull-out bed. Carefully, she lifted the covers up and got back in, sure to not to cause a disturbance.

Evangelina turned her attention to the still sleeping Brandon. Memories of what had happened during the night came to mind. Smiling softly, she moved close to him and pulled his face close to her chest as she began to stroke his hair gently. His sleeping face caused her to let out the smallest of giggles. "Good morning Brandon~" she quietly whispered. Her fingers soothingly stroked his hair and massaged his scalp lightly as she leaned down to kiss the top of his head. "You must be tired... thank you for letting me sleep her with you..." Looking at his calm and adorable face as he slumbered, she shook her head with a smile. "Maybe I should let him sleep and make him some coffee or tea...." she whispered to herself as she mentally debated whether or not to leave the bed.

Brandon slept more soundly than he had in recent memory. Cuddled close to Evangelina, her arms wrapped around him, her fingers stroking his hair and scalp, her heart beating in his ear, it all served to lull him into an even deeper, more peaceful sleep. Even when she moved to leave the bed he wasn’t disturbed, although on some subconscious level he did sense her absence. But once she returned to him to resume her loving attentions, he cuddled right back up against her warm, soft body.

It wasn’t until she began to speak to him, in a loving, calm tone that he began to rouse from his restful sleep. His first instinct was to wrap his arms around her and pull her closer to him. He didn’t know if he was still dreaming, or if she was really there with him, but in his sleepy state, it didn’t matter – she felt real and he wanted to keep her close. Humming lightly, a smile on his face, his eyes still closed, he affectionately nuzzled close to her with a happy sigh.

“Is this a dream?”
He whispered, not wanting to open his eyes in case this was in fact, not his reality. But she felt real. He could smell her perfume and hear her steady heart beat…but he had had vivid dreams about her before and he wouldn’t be fooled. “I dunno~” He then felt a very real kiss upon his nose. “Does it feel like a dream?” Feeling a bit mischievous, he decided to tease her. “Mmmm…maybe~. I think I need more proof.” He whispered, tilting his head up a bit, one eye cracking open, a small smile on his lips.

“You’re a dork, you know that?” Despite her words, Evangelina then proceeded to plant kisses all over his face – much to his delight. Smiling wide, he chuckled happily, loving the attention and the fact that his girlfriend – OMG! – was not only in his apartment, but cuddled close and giving him loving kisses.“I may be a dork, but I’m your dork.” He said proudly. After a few moments, when the kisses had stopped, he opened both eyes to look up at her beautiful face. Reaching up, he gently caressed her cheek with his thumb. “I’m so happy you’re here…I can’t believe it…It feels like a dream, but I’m glad you’re really here with me…”

The blonde was still debating on what she should do only to be pulled closer to Brandon's body. As he nuzzled her, he questioned if this was all a dream. The first thing that came to mind to convince him everything was real was to give him a little kiss. You can't feel a kiss during a dream. Brandon decided to tease her a bit saying he needed more proof to which she laughed and shook her head. If he wanted more proof, then she'd provide him with it. She wrapped her arms around his neck and started peppering his face with kisses. He seemed to believe that this was no dream now. "Yes, you're my dork~" Evangelina let go and laid flat on her back next to the male, turning her head so she was looking at Brandon. She gave him a soft smile as he reached out and stroked her cheek. "This isn't a dream. I'm here with you right now, and I'm happier than ever." she said quietly her voice still a bit tired sounding from waking up. The blonde's smaller hand reached up to hold the hand that was on her cheek and stroke it gently.

Glancing at the clock nearby, she blinked. It was a good time to go ahead and make breakfast for the two, maybe have a nice morning drink. Pulling away and sitting up, she turned her head to look at Brandon and smiled, "Why don't I get up and make some breakfast now? You know, so we can get ready for the drive to Lucy and I's place." Evangelina watched as Brandon smiled at the idea of breakfast, but it fell when she mentioned driving home. "Do you really have to go?" The blonde giggled as she found herself being cuddled again. "I don't think I'm ready to say goodbye yet..." Sighing softly, she leaned into his touch as he cupped her cheek. "I know, I know....me too. But you know I would stay if I could. But I need clothes and such. I can't wear yours out, can I?" she said in a soft yet slightly sad tone. Of course, she didn't want to leave him. He thought for a moment before speaking again, "We can always go shopping..." Evangelina's green eyes widened a bit a that suggestion. He seemed all for going out to do shopping. "Well I do have my bag that has my wallet and such, so.... I don't see why not."

Reaching out her finger, she poked his nose then went to mess with his hair. "Guess you'll be stuck with me for longer~" Evangelina held his face and hugged it, stroking his hair affectionately. "I'm still making breakfast though. What do you want me to make? Annnndd also, tea or coffee? Or do you prefer a smoothie or juice?" Letting go, she stood from the bed and stretched her body out. She ran a hand through her blonde hair then let out a content sigh.

“Stuck isn’t the word I would use…” He said with a smile, loving the idea of spending more time with her. He had to wonder how they were going to manage this secret relationship. They both had very busy schedules – with all the movie roles, press conferences, movie tours, he didn’t know if they’d ever see one another. The only way it’d be possible was if they worked on the same movie. He didn’t know how he was going to pull that off, but it wasn’t a bad idea. They’d be able to spend time together openly, because it was for work. If her father tried to complain, he wouldn’t have any ground to stand on. As co-stars, they’d be expected to read lines together, act together, travel together…it would be the perfect arrangement.

Brandon was pulled from his thought as Evangelina spoke of making them both breakfast. Smiling up at her, he just admired her for a moment while she stretched and ran a hand through her short hair. “I’ll take some more of that delicious tea we had last night, if you don’t mind.” He normally wasn’t a big tea drinker, but he liked the way she made it. “Would you like me to help? Or would you prefer that I go shower and get dressed so we can go once we’ve eaten?” Evangelina, sweetheart that she is, smiled sweetly, “Go ahead and relax in the shower. Let me cook for you~.”

Sitting up in bed, he swung his legs over the side before rising to wrap his arms around his girlfriend. “You’re the sweetest…” He didn’t know what he’d done to deserve such a wonderful girl, but he’d happily keep doing it if it meant she stayed by his side. Smiling down at her, he leaned in to kiss her lips lightly. He held her for a few moments longer before reluctantly letting her go. Heading down the hall to his bedroom, he stepped into his closet to pull out his outfit for the day. Considering that they were going out to go shopping, in public, he knew he’d need to go ‘incognito’ so that the paparazzi didn’t realize who Evangelina was out shopping with. He still had the wig from the night before, but he didn’t have David to help him put it back on…

Deciding that a stylish beanie would be enough to cover his hair, he grabbed one of his black ones, a pair of stylish silver Oakley shades, a white polo shirt with a stylish black design on the shoulder, black cargo pants and his black and white DC’s, along with a pair of boxer briefs, socks, a watch and one of his favorite rings. He was confident that with enough of his face and hair covered up that the paparazzi wouldn’t be able to tell who he was. If anything, the photographers would recognize Evangelina and focus on her, only to speculate who he was. “Hmmm, I wonder if Evangelina will want to wear a beanie and shades too…” He had more than enough sets if she wanted to try going ‘incognito’ too.

With his outfit laid out on the bed, he headed for his master bathroom to shower. Closing the door behind him, he took care to brush his teeth and wash his face first before stepping into the shower stall to get cleaned up. Soon the bathroom was filled with steam and Brandon’s soft humming.

"Then what would you call it~?" She questioned with a giggle. The female was glad that Brandon suggested they go shopping for clothes instead of her going home. It was a great way for them not only to go out together, but to spend more time with each other in general. After the weeks of not being able to see him, she was willing to spend as much time as she could with the male. Evangelina nodded as Brandon told her what he wanted to drink for the morning. When he offered to help, she instantly waved him off and smiled at him. She wanted to be the one to cook for him, especially since he let her stay over and borrow his clothes. It was the least she could do for her boyfriend. A light blush made its way to her cheeks as he called her sweet wrapped his arms around her. She looked up at him, only to be met with light kiss. Kissing him back, she held him close before he hesitantly let her go so he could go ahead and shower.

Once he was gone, Evangelina made her way to his kitchen and rolled up her sleeves. The first thing she did was take out a pan and got out ingredients to make some omelets with a side of bacon. She quickly got to work, cutting up ingredients and mixing the eggs. The blonde poured the egg into a pan and began to assemble everything. While the omelets were cooking, she decided to heat up water for their morning tea. She swiftly moved around the kitchen, placing toast in the toaster and handling the bacon and omelets. She of course didn't forget to set the table for two in the process. She was practically done and was prepping the tea when she noticed her boyfriend return. With a smile, she motioned toward the dining table, "Food's ready over there~ I'll have the tea and glasses of water there in a second, okay?' Evangelina poured two glasses of water before finishing up the tea. Once that was done, she took it all to the table and then sat down. Fixing her sleeves, she ran a hand through her short blonde locks and checked her phone before putting it away to have a peaceful meal. Her emerald eyes moved to look at Brandon as she smiled, resting her cheek on her fist and tilting her head a bit. ” How was your shower, sweetie?”
