Greetings fellow gaians, the purpose of this thread is to find and immerse lovers of rp into a world of mystery adventure and excitement. If you want 3 elements of similarity to relate this rp to: Legend of Zelda, Dark Souls, Monster Hunters. I will provide a link to the rp introduction page below. If it catches your fancy I encourage you to read it, understand it, and follow the rest of the instructions if you wish to participate in this grand journey, meet new rp friends, and have a blast along with everyone else! Catch your interest yet? Alright, with that out of the way it's time to fill you in on what you need to do to join this adventure. First and foremost I kindly ask you to read the following guidelines that will indicate what I am looking for and what will be expected of those who desire to participate. Don't worry its nothing super restricting, just your run of the mill guidelines I promise.
Being a part of this rp means you wish to be a part of the story and take things seriously. Stay active as stated in the rp rules. That being said, please only apply if you plan on genuinely being a part of this rp. If you cant bother to post, don't bother to apply.
Now for your characters. There are two type of characters you may play as: A "Role" character is a premade character concept whose 'identity' in the rp is set in stone. Role characters are very important and need to be assigned before the rp can begin. An "Original" character is completely custom made by the player and has whatever role the player desires. Try to be creative with your details as I particularly like players with great enthusiasm and initiative to suggest additional backstory to the rp. To add onto that point, do not be afraid to create your own additions to the setting your character is currently in or their backstory so long as it makes sense with the theme of the rp (you probably wont find droids or an alien plasma weapon on a farm hill) and if you aren't certain, ask! The only dumb question is the one not asked. I wish to stress the fact that in this rp, "Role" characters aren't any more impacting to the main story than original characters, since every players choices and contribution determine which way the rps main story will go. As a reminder you can find the guidelines to making your character via the character skeleton which can be found on the "Profiles" page, linked at the very bottom of the RP front page.
If you wish to play a "Role" character, you will need to personally contact me with the character you desire to play. I will fill you in on the details you need, then send me a short 2+ paragraph backstory or intro scene portraying the "Role" character. You wont have to worry about the settings or culture being accurate as there is clearly a lack of information to teach you everything about every setting. The reason for this requirement is to ensure the writer is fit to play a major role in the RP (detail, creativity, tone, overall demeanor). If you aren't at all serious about the rp, I strongly recommend you create an original character instead.
There is a maximum of 20 total slots for players, with currently 14 slots remaining. Depending on how the RP progresses and expands, the number of player slots may increase, as this RP is meant to be large scale. Below you will find a list of "Role" characters that still need a creative writer to play them.

❖The Revolutionary - leads a large group of Sapiens that rebel against racial oppression.
❖Olrepsion Cardinals (6/6 available) - cloaked individuals that serve the order of Olrepsion.
