First, I wanted to say that I personally, will miss all your help that you have given me. I can't say enough about how much it meant to have someone hold my hand while I tried to set up my aquarium. You answered all my dumb questions and continued to do so after the fact.
You were so sweet for bumping my thread when my booty glowed. Lord knows that I can never catch my own glow even though I'm on at the time.

When you sent me that PM, it made me really sad to see you go, because in a way you were becoming a friend at least. I was also upset, I couldn't send you one back, or become your official Gaia friend before you decided your hiatus. I enjoy talking to you so I'm glad that you found some solace in my charity, if only just a little bit. If you ever want to talk/vent about it I'm here for you.

The only other things that I have to say, is that you shouldn't let this one person get to you. I don't know the circumstances behind the argument but if anything does come about it, a Mod or Admin, can indeed see edited posts.

My words of encouragement, are that, you do so much for the aquarium community and help so many people. I think that you should see all the good that you do rather, than the one bad thing that happened. You can't give up! I believe that you will bounce back from this!

I know what it feels like to want to give up on something. Heck I had someone literally steal $10 from my charity! But there was nothing I could do about it except give it to them and move on. I changed and tweaked things. My charity, is pretty slow, and no one ever stays after I donate to them, but that doesn't stop me. It absolutely made me sad but I had to think about that one other person that kept me going, and that was Lavender. I don't think she knows how much it means to me that she just stays to chat with me. She never even filled out a donation form.

I respect that you need time to take a break and cool your head, but just think of the people that need your help. People post in your Tank Making thread all the time, looking for help. I hardly see anyone else in there offering help, even though there has to be others that helped with making that thread. And of course I will still need your help with all my stupid questions about my tank that I don't know.

You can always just take a break from whatever caused you to be sad. :[ But please don't be sad anymore.

So, all and all, please don't leave forever! I value you, your kindness towards me and others, and your company. I hope that this finds note finds you in some way.

Today I planned to just wrap up my guild commitments and fire out, but when I saw there was a quote notification from you, I decided to read it before leaving for the hiatus. Your message is so beautiful I actually have tears pouring down my face (not joking). Thank you so much for your extremely kind words. You are very strong to be moving on after the theft in your charity. I'm glad you decided not to let that occurrence prevent you from continuing the charity.

You are absolutely right about the guide. There are two things that are keeping me from completely abandoning my accounts at the moment:
1) The guide. There is still information missing and questions to be answered. (And, as you mentioned, users who may need help with their tanks).
2) Amazing users like yourself.

I'm just feeling physically a bit sick at the moment from dealing with that user and can't stop thinking about the whole matter. I would like to return with a cool head so I don't make myself feel worse.

Another friend also recommended contacting a mod/admin. I have taken screenshots of the conversations and PMs and requested screenshots from another user who feels hurt by the same person. When I try to look at the screenshots objectively, I feel like the language is indeed hurtful and rude, but not enough so to warrant admin action.

Thank you for using this guild as a place to chat. It really makes me feel like I can be open with you. I am still leaving on hiatus after this, but I will certainly be back. emotion_hug

I'm so glad to hear from you! I was scared you wouldn't come back.

I kind of snooped through your post history, and read the comments. What I have to say is that, there was no reason for that user to get so angry. All the had to say was that they didn't want to be a part of whatever it was (I'm assuming something to do with the banner). They also admitted to editing their comments anyway.

As for an admin, I don't think that there's anything you would be able to report, but it's better for you to know that they can see what is edited so that if she reports, there is proof of what happened.

I understand how being upset can make you physically hurt, so I encourage you to take your time to feel better. I'm glad that you will be back eventually (just pop in every once and a while). If there is anything that I can do to help you please let me know! We can also move this conversation to a PM if you want.
