Today was starting out strong for Lumikani. Today she would teach her daughter, Kanika, the way of the blades, something she was pleased to see the girl show interest in. It wasn't that Zayana wasn't also a star, but Lumikani could see the little girl lean toward Zandala's own trade of the bow, and she was proud to let her daughter go in that direction.

That being said, she was so very pleased that Kanika was showing signs of a close-facing warrior, and was more than happy to train the girl in how to properly wield such a weapon.

As she waited in the clearing outside of their hut, the early morning sun warming her face, Lumikani pondered just what she would do for their first lesson.
