Alastair looked over to Rosie as she tried to burrow underneath him. He, too, could sense a presence from behind, although e knew for certain the other person means no harm to them. "There's no surprise that I'd be seeing you here. My old friend." He spoke calmly.

Rosie hissed in the direction of Alastair's friend not knowing if they were friend or foes. As his friend came closer he said "I came to meet you and to give you a lift back home." They then transformed into a dragon before Rosie buried her face again.

Alastair smiled as his friend offer him a lift back to his home country. "How very thoughtful of you." He said as he hopped on his back. He then looked down at Rosie as he began scratched her little head lightly. "No need to be scared, Rosie. He is our friend." He whispered softly.

Rosie, being blind, couldn't sense who was friend or foe. She trusted Alastair because he saved her and was gentle with her. She wasn't sure about Alastair's friend though. Alastair's friend then took off gently once the two of them were on his back. They were on their way home.

Alastair grabbed onto as his friend took off to the sky. He had Rosie perched on his shoulder as they flew back to his homeland. By the time e arrived to the castle, the queen had stood before her. "My queen. I have returned the Rose Dragon." He said as he knelt down on one knee and bowed.

Rosie being blind had no idea why or that Alastair was bowing on one knee. She did however smell the scent of Roses on the Queen, a familiar scent to her, it was like that of her mother. Rosie had no idea she was the queen's sister's daughter. She was so tiny compare to most of the dragons her age. Her eyes were all clammy, showing she was blind but could hear and smell where the queen was. Rosie made her way into Alastair's arms burying her face shyly as she made her way into his shirt for protection, not knowing that the queen was her aunt.

The Rose queen gasped softly as she saw that her young niece was finally returned safely. "My dear..." He cooed as he picked the dragon up from Alastair's shoulder. He held the dragon in her arms as tears started streaming down her cheeks. She was obviously hurt by the loss of her sister. Alastair, too, was hurt since he was in love with her before her death.

(Sorry for the delay. Just trying to catch up on some other things. Just so you know, I'm going to be taking a break from Gaia for a week starting Monday.)

Rosie sensed the queen crying and hugging her. She snuggled up to the queen, finding the queen's cheek and gave it a lick, giving her auntie a kiss. She had her mother's personality. Rosie, even though she was blind, made her way onto the queen's shoulder and nuzzled her auntie's cheek trying to calm her auntie.

The queen giggled softly when Rosie licked her cheek. As the dragon made her way to her shoulder, she ran her fingers along her small head. Alastair looked down sadly as he thought of the queen's sister. "I'm sorry for the loss of your sister. May she rest in peace and feast with the gods." He said quietly. The queen gave a soft smiled as she placed her hand along his cheek. "There is no need to apologize, my good knight. There was nothing more you could do." She said kindly as she kissed his forehead. Alastair blushed in process.

Rosie giggled at Alastair as he blushed as she sensed he was getting nervous and that he loved the queen. She then made her way into the queen's arms before she tried to get to Alastair thinking he was her papa. She started roaring baby language at him trying to talk. She couldn't see but she could smell he was really close.

Alastair smiled softly at the small creature as he reached out to him. The queen giggled as Rosie tried to talk to Alastair. "Thanks again for rescuing my niece. She is the only person I have since my sister was murdered." He said softly as she tucked some stray hair behind her ear. Alastair blushed yet again and scratched the back of his head. "Well...It's the least I could do." He said nervously. The queen giggled childishly as she held out her hand. "Come. We have a feast ready for your return." He said.

Rosie giggled sensing Alastair was blushing again. As they went into the castle, Rosie smelled all sorts of new things. She was given a bath was wasn't too happy about Alastair not being next to her and wanted him to stay. She started crying as soon as she left the Queen's arms biting at one of the servants with her gums and claws. She wasn't very strong but no one would guess that she held a special power of her kind.

Alastair was seated at the table with his dragon friend as he sipped his pint of ale. He still thought of his beloved princess and her death, though he tried to make up for it in celebrate by telling one of his tales. "...so, here I was, tied to a post as these three giants were bickering back and forth and they were so stupid that they noticed that I had escaped." He said with laughter.

Rosie was crying for Alastair wanting him. She wouldn't calm down for the maids or even the queen. Meanwhile Alastiar's friend was laughing as she could tell that he was almost completely drunk. SHe then said "I think you've had enough Ale. Besides don't you think that little dragon will be wanting you to come back?" as she sighed and shook her head. "Come on you. I'll take you back to the castle." She added looking at him with serious eyes.

Alastair sighed as he stood back on his feet. "I must *hick* leave, now. I will continued the story in *hick* in the later day." He said. His speech was slurred slight due to the vast consumption of alcohol. He then bowed and followed the queen to the castle.
