"A-ah!" Fae gasped audibly as she shook her head frantically. "No! Your thoughts are safe!" She then clasped a hand over her mouth as she realised how loud she had been. This only caused her to blush more, a clear indication of her embarrassment. She then lowered her voice to a whisper. "I... I don't mind if you stay... Having the company would be nice." She tried to sound as friendly as possible, as if she was trying to hide the fact she may have a crush on Erik.

Erik raised his eyebrow and smirked at her reaction, seeing the red in her cheeks slowly get darker. "Well that's good, that means anything I decide to do will still be a surprise." He teased with a dashing smile before chuckling at her sudden whisper from the loud voice she had used a moment before. "Then I'll stay, so long as I'm wanted here." He whispered back as he lowered his head to rest on the back of his hands.

Fae felt her heart flutter in her chest as Erik smiled dashingly at her. Something about it seemed to compliment his already beautiful facial features. She tried not to focus too long on the thought, as she was afraid Erik would be able to hear her pounding heart and try to read her own thoughts. She took a moment to regain composure before speaking as coolly as she could muster "You're wanted here..." She smiled sheepishly. "But that doesn't give you an excuse to cause trouble." Before Erik could give a rebuttal, Fae had turned her back to him and was already working on wrapping things up for the morning. She had already returned all the books to their proper places; now was the time for the boring task of sorting of paperwork.

Erik smirked at her first comment, ready to say something else just to see her blush before he was interrupted by her second comment. His mouth fell open with a half smile, more in surprise from what she said with it's timing. "Are you talking about me? I have done nothing of the sort!" He couldn't help but laugh as he said it, having tried his best to keep a straight face. He watched her leave and shook his head as he turned around to look at the rest of the library, watching the other students as they were looking for their books or reading quietly at the desks.

Before they knew it, an hour had passed by. By now the students were all gone and Fae had finished up everything she needed to do for the night. Although still a little early, she figured no one else would be coming, so she went over to lock the door. She then made her way to where Erik was sitting and lightly tapped him on the shoulder. "You ready to see what this library has to offer?"

Erik had taken a seat at one of the tables that were placed throughout the library, looking at one of his textbooks as he waited for the time to pass. When Fae had reached him, he had his arms crossed and his head back on the chair, nearly ready to snore from having fallen asleep. He jumped a little as he felt the tap on his shoulder, looking up at Fae once he found where the person had been standing. He chuckled and rubbed his face as he heard her comment, giving a nod. "For sure...Let's do this..." He yawned and scrubbed his face before he stood up and put his book back into his backpack, following Fae to the back room.

"I didn't know full-breeds slept." Fae teased, a lighthearted smile on her face. He had looked so calm while he slept it had been a bit of a debate on whether she should have woken him up or not. But she knew Erik stayed as long as he did to see what was in the back room. Of course it had been exactly what she had said before: just an old storage room with dusty encyclopedias and computers. The most interesting thing about the room was probably the antique grandfather clock that clearly hadn't been in use for ages, as the hands were eternally stuck at 9:00 and the pendulum was not moving. Fae covered her mouth as if she was trying not to inhale the dust. "Anything else you're curious about?" She asked in a muffled voice.

Erik narrowed his eyes at her and shrugged as he stood up with a smile. "It's nice, alright? It's calming to just be able to close your eyes and appreciate the new world that you open up to." He felt his cheeks get a little red as he realized he sounded a little different than what he typically sounded like, so he quickly stepped behind her and covered her eyes. "Whatever, don't pretend you don't like sleep." He chuckled and released her, following closely behind as they walked around until they reached the back room. Once they had thoroughly checked it out, he stood in front of the clock and looked at it a bit. "It really was a boring old room. They didn't even have old books like journals people wrote or just other special pieces of work." He heard her question and immediately a light bulb went off in his head, turning around with a smirk. He opened his mouth to give some sort of flirtatious remark when he stepped forward onto a thin book that slipped out and caused him to fall flat on his face. "No way..." He mumbled to himself as he stayed there for a solid minute, hearing Fae go between concern and laughter. He finally looked up at her and bent his legs so they were sitting up in the air. "Don't you judge me, the book attacked me." He picked up the thin book and placed his hand on an old chair that broke immediately upon the pressure, causing him to fall back and slap the grandfather clock on the side. As soon as the smack hit the clock, there was some sort of sound coming from it when it suddenly went through nine gongs and the face of the clock popped out.

When Erik commented about the book attacking him, Fae was about to reply with some playfully sarcastic remark about the room being haunted by a jealous ghost who only went after attractive males. However, the series of events that lead to Erik being a huge klutz that caused her to hold her tongue. Her hands were pressed to her stomach and she was laughing so hard that tears began to form in the corners of her eyes. Her breaths were coming out in short gasps as she nearly forgot how to breath. Her laughter echoed in the silent room, only to be challenged by the sharp reverberations of the gongs. This was a side she never imagined and never thought was possible for someone as slick as Erik. She always imagined him as the type to play it cool and never let someone see him do anything that could be deemed 'embarrassing' or 'unattractive'. It was interesting to say the least. She couldn't even choke out a sassy remark because she was giggling so much.

Erik laid there on the floor with the broken chair pieces as he stared up at the ceiling, blowing his hair out of his face as the clock finally stopped making sounds. "Fae...What did you do to me?" He asked as he sat himself up, brushing the wooden pieces and dust off of himself and out of his hair. "You put a little spell on me or something, didn't you?" He chuckled and stood himself up, waving the thin book in her face. "I found your little spell book, no use in trying to hide it." He poked at her stomach with the book, just above where her hands were, before he started to let himself laugh along with her.

Fae shook her head slowly at Erik's comment about the casting of a spell, her laughter continuing. She knew her voice would fail her so she made no attempt to speak until her laughs became short snickers and gasps for breath. Once done with her fit, she sighed heavily and sucked in a huge breath, although her face was still twisted in an expression of great amusement. She reached over to snatch the book from Erik, tossing it back into a corner where it made a soft 'thump' as it puffed up a small cloud of dust from a nearby table. "There..." She smirked, "Now it can't hurt you anymore."

Erik laughed with her for a few minutes, relaxing about the same time that she had also began to relax. He watched her grab the book from his hand and toss it, seeing the cloud of dust afterwards. "Oh, ho, ho, well look at you! The delicate little fairy can throw." He teased, patting her upper arm afterwards. "Ah, I'm just kidding. I know you work out and can totally beat me up." He smirked and tipped his head towards where the book was thrown as he looked at her and leaned down to be able to whisper in her ear. "I knew that was your little book of spells...Why else would you toss it from my hands? You did it so quickly too..." He chuckled as he looked towards her eyes and cheeks to see if he had made her blush and if she had been looking at him.

There was a retort and then a downplay of Erik's claims that she could 'beat him up' at the tip of Fae's tongue... until he closed the gap between them physically. She could feel his breath against her ear as he whispered to her, the words sounding more distant in her mind. It was almost impossible for her to even register what he was saying; she was too focused on Erik being only a few inches from her. Her cheeks flushed as her mind began to work on overdrive. What does he think he's doing...? And what's with that tone he's using? It sounds so... so sultry, so enticing... This has to be...! "A-a full breed trick..." She gasped softly, so quietly and shakily that she was hoping it was to herself. What she really wanted to say was : No fair; you have the advantage; how dare you use your seduction powers on me! But... she found it impossible to do anything but stand there and be captivated by the handsome male in front of her.

Erik's eyes stayed on Fae as he heard her heart begin to pick up in it's pace and as he noticed her cheeks begin to change to a pinkish color. He smirked, a more playful one than the one he had before, until he heard what she said. His mouth dropped for a moment and he stood up, trying to think about what she could mean. "Trick?" He was silent for a moment and then laughed, stepping around in front of her and bending down again enough to be in her face. "And what kind of trick could I be using, Fae? I've told you before I really don't know how to use most of my powers...not to their full ability anyways..." He stepped in closer and watched her step back, continuing until she bumped against a bookcase, letting him get in her face once again. "I have to say though, for what I do know, I haven't used anything on you once in the time frame that we've known each other..." He moved his face to her ear again, whispering quieter than he did before, letting his hair brush against her cheeks and his breath hit her ear. "Whatever you think I'm doing...It's really just coming from you and that amazing, creative and smart brain of yours..." He smirked, hearing her heart pick up just a little bit again. He decided to stay where he was, wanting to give her the chance to speak back to him as close as they were.

All full breeds have the power of seduction; they use it to lure their victims into being more than willing to offer blood for their predator. I'm very sure you're aware of what's going on and have probably used this little trick multiple times to have your way with any woman... Fae had a whole monologue of what she wanted to say to Erik, but words refused to leave her lips. She merely took steps back, unaware she was doing so until she felt her back bump against the bookcase behind her, releasing a soft cloud of dust. Nowhere else to go; she was trapped. Her back pressed harder against the bookshelf. By now, her heart was beating so rapidly and loud, that she knew Erik could hear it. It must sound so beautiful to him, the sound of blood readily pulsing through her to provide him a delectable snack. Her cheeks had flushed to a lovely shade of red and she was quivering. She felt as if he legs would give up on her in any moment. All she could do is stare at Erik, chew on her lip nervously, and resist the urge to reach out at touch him. The dim lighting worked very much in his favour, as it cast shadows across his already perfect features, which emphasised them even more. Her mind was reeling and all she could really think about was how alluring he was in this moment. No... she thought, contradicting her mental tangent from before, Erik isn't like that. He's very much harmless. I can see it when I look into his eyes; he may act mighty, but he's got a good heart. There is no way he could be willingly use such a devious trick. He's more genuine than that. Maybe... maybe... "E-E-Erik..." She managed to finally choke out in a hushed voice, "What are you...?" Thinking.
