Erin was always quite adventurous, wandering off the grounds of her home since a young age. She is brave, but most would rather call her reckless. She is kind and sometimes too trusting of others. Cheerful, optimistic, active and occasionally competitive, she tends to be quite a handful for those who aren't able to keep up with her.

Biography
The only true child of the Lamonia family, she was raised a sheltered child and didn't travel the region as most children did in their teen years. Instead her parents were determined to raise and prepare her to be married off to a male from another successful family which they had been in competition with for years. This marriage was to join them and strengthen the foundations of the families, and ultimately make their lives even better in ceasing their silly fights.
She was rescued by a young boy who worked within the mansion. He was due to leave after his father, who had worked there and supervised him, passed away and the Lamonia family were no longer interested in the child's assistance. The boy had previously learned of the parents' plans to wed Lucy to another family in the future, and so he told the girl, offering to take her back to live with the rest of his family.
Ultimately left with the decision of a future decided for her, or one filled with risk and uncertainty, she chose the latter, finally joining the rest of the world.
She lived with the boy and his family, dying her hair and changing her name so she was less likely to be found.
Now she was free all she wanted to do was adventure. She was in her late teens when she started her journey, but she didn't take the Pokémon trainer path as most did. Instead she found a love for contests and performances, taking part in small events for the fun of it.
Occasionally she and her two brothers would hold street performances as a band with the choreographed displays of their Pokémon. This was how she was discovered by professional co-ordinators who spurred her on to try out the big leagues. While she never won any major contests she became a favourite for viewers around the world for her charisma and musical talent, as she would occasionally perform musical pieces to compliment her Pokémon.
She was invited to visit the newly discovered region, but with no knowledge of what it was like she was reluctant to go alone and so decided to bring along her two brothers. Unfortunately she had to leave her Pokémon behind, as did they, but thankfully for the time she is away she knows they are in good hands.

Personality
Raziel is quite reserved, choosing not to reveal too much about himself to people until he decides whether or not he likes them. To those he likes, he is incredibly loyal, even to those who are doing wrong, as long as they are certain they understand what their actions can lead to. He is quite friendly but sometimes protective, possibly even following people. That's because he can't stand being alone or not knowing whether his friends are okay or not.
To those he doesn't like however he can quite rude, but only if he has a reason to be so.

Biography
Raziel was Erin's partner, but they didn't meet through the guild like most pairs did. As a Riolu gijinka, he was always very boisterous and proud of himself, getting into battles he couldn't possibly win, but with his inflated ego he always continued to taunt tougher foes. One such event did not go unpunished. He battled a Houndoom gijinka who refused to show mercy. With a swift strike he slashed the Riolu's face, landing two very precise gashes into his eyes.
This left the Riolu blind and from then on he became a very different character. He was timid, more fearful and always bumping into things or falling. Eventually he learned how to 'see' things using his senses of smell and sound, which were two of Riolu's best skills. It was only while he was blind that he realised his ability to see things through aura, although it was difficult to maintain and even harder to understand.
A few years after the incident he found himself at a beach, having difficulty finding his way around due to the overwhelming smell of salt and sand. He used his aura to quickly find his way back to the forest when he noticed a strange aura out at sea. The arrival of humans, something he had not known of or expected. Strange, powerless creatures like them which seemed to trigger odd behaviours and instincts within the gijinka. Raziel was subject to these too, but his fear overwhelmed him and he ran away. He'd occasionally come back every now and then to 'observe' the humans from a distance, but he lacked the confidence to properly meet them.
One day though he had come back to view yet another ship come into the region. Feeling slightly bolder he actually walked into Tide Village, but when he turned to run he tripped over the chain of an anchor. He had always had difficulty sensing the aura of forged objects. They did not contain the same life force as plants, even stone and earth was murky, but the aura was just enough for him to detect them.
He was completely caught off guard when a human had gotten close and tried to help him. Of course, he ran away, but he had gotten close to a human and it only intrigued him more. His visits became more frequent and it would always be the same girl he'd watch. Sometimes she'd catch him watching, which is when he'd decide to leave, otherwise he'd stay and learn more about the weird creatures.
His borderline stalking activity continued for a few weeks until the girl decided to take action. She had marched off to the forest in the early morning in hopes of finding the boy but her decision was poor and she went perhaps farther than she should have. She caught the attention of a rogue gijinka who apparently wasn't too fond of humans. The Lairon gijinka attacked her on sight. Thankfully Raziel had spotted her and followed so was able to jump in and intervene. He quickly managed to kick away the rogue gijinka and ran away with the girl for as far as they could before the Lairon eventually caught up.
Raziel wasn't too sure why he had decided to jump in, perhaps it was something on a level deeper than his rational thinking. He got into the fight with the Lairon who was several levels higher than him, but thanks to his typing he was on a slightly more equal footing. He managed to scare off the Lairon with a few attacks, but he was just barely standing himself.
The human was grateful for his help and aided him to the guild she had been staying at so he could recover. While he was there he was incapable of leaving and the human insisted on thanking him so they finally managed to hold a conversation.
He learned the girl's name was Lucy and that she had arrived from a distant land to investigate the region. He was fascinated with her and the weird customs her race held. The two became friends from then on, even choosing to travel the island together. Although not an officially trained guardian, he was of a significant enough level to provide protection to the human and so it was allowed.

Biography
Rayner lived a life full of risk and chance, especially when it came to his survival. Any who had been in his position would have probably died by now, but any who know him for long enough realise he has a strange effect on others. Rayner himself has incredible luck while anyone else he's near seems to suffer from bad luck. One could argue it's bad in perspective but Rayner has seen enough of disaster and destruction to know it was not safe for him to live near others, especially when his luck seemed to run out wherein things happened which tended to involve harming others, accidental or otherwise.
Taking matters into his own hands he left to live in the mountains in solitude, but as if fate had scripted it for him, a massive avalanche had ran down the mountain, dragging him with it. Luckily he was barely hurt and found that escaping the snow was easy. As well as that his earned immunity to the cold left him in no worse condition than when he started. The same could not be said for others though. Among the ice and snow he found two injured bodies. One was another Gijinka, a Lucario specifically, and the other was a strange creature alike himself, but strangely different on a level he couldn't quite understand.
Since he had gone through the trouble of digging them out he decided that he may as well make sure they woke up again. He took them back to his cave to keep them warm. When they awoke he questioned them, mostly the strange life form who was virtually powerless compared to the Gijinka. Being that he had been avoiding all and any life by hiding up in the mountains he hadn't heard of the humans and was frankly intrigued by the one he had come across. When he learned of their desire to travel the region he offered to help them, having had made some travels himself. The human and her partner readily accepted the help, but apparently it more for the fact that they were lost.
