Human-like Species

Aliens that resemble and look like humans in appearance although hold very little ties to the species. They may look like Earth's cousin, but many are more alien-like than any other species.
They hold great power and come in many shapes and sizes.

Planet Name: Serus
Image of Planet
Description:
The planet Serus, is located in the Sirius Star System, which is comprised of three stars. The planet orbits around a black dwarf star. The largest star, Sirius-A, can be seen on Earth during the winter months in the northern hemisphere, and is the brightest star in the night sky. Although light-years away from earth, Serus held a great impact on ancient life for humans on Earth. It is speculated that ancient Egyptians may even aligned the pyramids with Sirius in mind. Serus was once a cousin to Earth, a planet located in the the circumstellar habitable zone where liquid water could exist. Extraterrestrials that thrived here were named Sirians. Commonly mistaken as humans, most Sirians could only be told apart by their Curare, a guardian whom is chosen at the age of becoming.

Curares are the external physical manifestation of a person's 'inner-self' that takes the form of any animal or creature. Curares have Sirian intelligence, are capable of Sirian speech—regardless of the form they take—and usually behave as though they are independent of their person. Pre-pubescent children's Curares can change form voluntarily, almost instantaneously, to become any creature, real or imaginary. During their adolescence a person's Curare undergoes "settling", an event in which that person's Curare permanently and involuntarily assumes the form of the creature which the person most resembles in character. After the settling occurs, the Curare can still change form to represent that of a human/Sirian. This shift acts as a disguise.
A person's Curare is usually of the opposite sex to its person, though rare cases exist where a person's Curare is of the same gender. Both Sirian and Curare must stay within a few yards of each other. Such separation from one's Curare - sometimes called "pulling" - causes extreme pain, as well as great distress for both Sirian and Curare and often leads to death. It is uncertain when or how a Curare is "born" or into what form they are born. When a person dies, their Curare fades away, like "atoms of smoke." Likewise, if a Curare is killed, their person dies as well.

During the late years of 4056, Serus was eradicated by a parasitic alien species who fed off of planets resources before destroying them and moving on. Many Sirians were evacuated from the planet before its final days and sought out shelter all over the universe. Those who stayed behind wanted to live their last moments with loved ones and family. Highly adaptable, Sirians have formed small colonies in the galaxy, some even residing on Earth.

Religion: This alien species practices Henotheism. Sirians worship the mother-goddess, a being commonly referred on Earth as Mother Nature. The mother-goddess represents nature, motherhood, fertility, creation and destruction. During wedding ceremonies it is not uncommon for Sirians to bow to the mother goddess before bowing to parents and then to each other.

Planet Name: Keron

Description: Keron is located right next to the second star to the right. Yes, the infamous one. It's fairly small, roughly the size of Mercury and cannot often be seen. Their planet, small as it is, is surrounded by five moons, each larger than the planet itself causing the planet to be constantly shrouded in darkness. It's population is not one that is heavily populated. Despite its lack in numbers, the inhabitants of this planet make up for their lack of numbers in their strength and capabilities.

The Keronings appearances is quite similar to that of albinos, including the pale, nearly translucent skin, the nearly white shades of hair, weakness to UV and sun rays, and their red eyes. In fact, often times when Keronings are seen on the planet Earth, they are mistaken for vampires, hence the legend. Although the blood drinking bit is a bit over-exaggerated because the Keronings lack the blood that is essential for human survival. There is no liquid that runs through their veins, but rather small pieces of gray sediment. When cut, the sediment will leak from their skin until the wound heals itself, usually quickly because of their enhanced healing abilities. However, it's not just their healing that is enhanced. The Keronings also have much stronger strength and a better attachment to their five senses than Earthlings.

Although they have great strengths, they do have a large disability other than their lack of resistance to the sun. Keronings are born as two people into one body, with only one consciousness taking control of the body at a time. Every Keroning is aware that there are two minds in one body, and as a result, they will often compromise and share the body accordingly. The two minds can converse in their thoughts and when one is in control, the other will often sit back and relax. Because of this, it is quite difficult for two people to fall in love unless both minds are in love with someone who share the same body. However, there are also deviants in any kind of society. There are some Keronings who are more dominant over their Other, the name used for the other occupant of the body. Some Keronings will go their entire lives dominating the body and depriving their Other of control. Sometimes, this is by accident and they will go their entire lifetimes unable to contact their Other because of their natural dominance or natural submission.

Because of Others, it is not uncommon for arguments to arise between two minds. A majority of the occupations on Keron will be half occupied depending on who is in control of the body for that day. The way of life for the Keronings is one filled with many complications, but they are able to get through them and live their every day lives.

Religion: Not really much of a religion but more of a life style, Keronings believe that there are several deities that rule, but there are two in particular who are powerful: a male and a female. The male, Heitch, preaches on equality between all things while the female, Shai, teaches on enlightenment. Both lessons are often intermixed to create a more peaceful way of life for everyone.

Planet Name: Jungae

Description: Jungae is a planet located right on the edge of the Milky Way, far from the reaches of Earth and a vast majority of other planets. Because of this, there are often black holes that cause chaos and spread fear. As a result, the planet spins at a pace much faster than others and their years are actually quite short because of lack of consistency. Since there are many black holes, there is only one moon that rotates the planet and is extremely close in orbit.

Despite the fear that the black holes create, the Juns are actually a very simple kind of people. Everything is extremely uniform and although they are extremely advanced in both technology, medicine, and design, everything is very orderly. Their appearances is exactly like that of humans, with different skin colors and body types. The only difference is that humans are very human and Juns have the ability to change their ages at will. Anyone can look young or old just by thinking it, although most are unable to control this ability until the age of 10 when they fully grasp the power of their abilities. Most children will abuse their power and try to appear much older than they actually are so it has been made a law that if someone is in school, they must be at their natural age. Adult beverages and other coming-of-age activities also become a problem, but with their advanced technology, it isn't as large as a problem as it is believed to be. Chips are implanted into each persons brain, right at the frontal lobe, that allows others to see an individual's true age.

Just because someone can change their aged appearance doesn't mean that they can change their actual age. For example, a 40 year old applying for a job at a middle school will often change their aged appearance to look younger so as to become more appealing to the students. However, just because this person looks 25 doesn't mean that they are. As people get older, they will often stop changing their ages and just age naturally. Criminals will usually change their age so as to not get caught. Children will attempt to perform older activities by changing their age. There are many advantages to having such an ability.

The Juns landscape and city designs are very similar to that of oriental descent even though the people are of every kind of skin color. The planet is very modern and upgraded so that the majority of the planet is covered with land and not water, cities and not nature.

Religion: Due to their simplistic way of thinking, Juns do not beleive in any one god or goddess or a being of power. Simply put, they are atheists.

Planet Name: Cirria
Description: Located along the center of the Milky Way, this planet is about the same size as Earth and Mars with relatively the same amount of land and water: 2/3 water, 1/3 land. Unlike Earth though, this planet is surrounded by clouds constantly. It is nearly impossible to see the sky, and even if you do, the sky is purple and not blue. Clouds on this planet vary in both type and elevation. Some are extremely high and are thunderstorms, others float close to the ground. As a result of this, breathing may sometimes be extremely difficult and the entire planet is often below freezing.

This planet is overrun with spirits, specifically cloud spirits. These spirits are beautiful creatures. Some large, like large clouds, and some willowy and wispy like cirrus clouds. They are peaceful creatures and both the people and spirits live in harmony. The Cirrians co-exist with the spirits, called Dahlyias, and in exchange, Cirrians and Dahylias will sometimes create contracts. Warrior Cirrians, although few in number because the Cirrians are large believers in peace, are usually the ones who create contracts. In exchange for their assistance, the Cirrians offer the Dahlyias physical momentum meaning that the Dahylias can feel, taste, smell, and hear what the Cirrians can. At most, a Cirrian can control two Dahylias, and not Dahylias support the idea of contracts.

Traditionally, everything on the planet Cirria is beautiful. In comparison, it is similar to Rivendell and the Elves sense of beauty in the Lord of the Rings series where everything is long and graceful. People speak calmly and with understanding.
Religion: Cirrians believe in peace among all living things, in a sort of give and take exchange between life and death, mother nature and civilization, Dahylias and Cirrians.

Planet Name: Glaciem
Description: Glaciem is a planet almost completely covered in ice. With five moons and one sun that is far enough to cast light onto the planet but not heat the planet to what most would consider a comfortable temperature. Having lived in below zero temperatures the people who live on this planet are acclimated to extremely freezing temperatures. The people of this planet have fair skin and usually have light colored hair. When leaving the planet they usually need to carry with them a nifty little device that regulates their bodies temperature to a comfortable below freezing temperature. Glaciem is rich in the industry field creating innovative inventions for the other planets around them. They are advanced in technology and have an outstanding military controlled by a fierce woman. The planet is governed by a matriarch ruled by a young Princess by the name of Fauna. She is seen as almost a priestess to the ice goddess. As a religion they worship Anemoi the goddess of cold weather or ice. Some believe Fauna to be the reincarnation of the very goddess who created the planet and gave them life.

Parasitic Species

Alien species that consume and destroy planets, other aliens, energy, or take over the body completely. These parasites always hunger for more power.

Planet Name: Ondius
Image: [link]
Description: A nearly deserted planet, desolate of all life, even the native people, who were humanoid like men and woman who worked with valuable minerals only found near the mantel of this mass of energy. The weather pitched to the extreme of cold now that the people do not emit any gas for the odd atmosphere, and dusty from the erosion carrying currents around the area. But with the desolation of natives, a race of Parasites have taken to the hollow and otherwise cleared planet. They are tiny creatures, about the size of a working man's foot, that have small tendrils that attach to the victims, injecting them with a virus to morph their very being into a monstrosity, while taking life from the being, using it to thrive, and grow. The transaction between the carrier and virus is around 12 seconds, and with this being known, people usually try to avoid contact from them, for their bodies, once on, sink teeth into the arm and latch, they don't come off without skin, and usually travel in packs.

Planet Name: Exitium
Description: Aliens from this planet get their resources from sucking other planets dry to the point of destruction for the other planet. Sometimes even destroying planets for the fun of it. Those who live on this planet are good looking and great actors. They almost rarely feel empathy for anyone other than themselves and their own race. They like to come to other planets and pretend they are peaceful and learn all they can about a planet; befriending their leaders and sometimes capturing them and collecting them. They are known for eradicating the planet Serus. This planet is ruled by one man, a man who calls all the shots. The closest thing to a religion is worshiping the ground this man walks on. Exitium is feared by all the other planets, but the most terrifying thing about them is they can blend in very well. People usually catch on when it is already too late.

Planet Name: Selario
Image: Selario
Description:
Selario is considered to be located at the very edge of the universe where all bits of things come and go. This edge, mostly undiscovered consists of what looks like a void and a few overlooking floating planets. They say that some outer world council looks in on the race in fear of what they might become. There is a large build up of plasma there, which builds up into a collection of people. These people are slimish in appearance, but learn to take on a true form in their early lives. These slime creatures act just like a normal human, but understand many races and cultures.Upon touch, they can bind with someone and learn from them. They can learn someones memorys, loves, where they grew up and many things about them, but the mind can only reveal so much. Among the touch, Selarions gain their overall ability based on their overall emotion and personality. An angry Selarion might have a fire ability, and adapt into thunder, or a calm one might move with water but be cold like ice. Of course, their powers come from their own body and makes them decrease in size over time. They are also genderless. The form they take can change, but they are not shape shifters. Once they find a form they like, they stay like that. If they touch someone, they can take their form, but only for a small amount of time.

Selarions are a tad bit flirtatious and out of control. They sometimes don't care, live a carefree life and do whatever pleases them. They are not one for love but if they do find that right slime, or whatever else, they will never leave. They don't even remarry. It is said that once they do marry, they will attach to their lover and become clothes for them. They will fight for them, become their weapon even. Their loved ones are not to be tampered with, but neither is their love life. If someone cheats on them, a Selarion will claim a body part...You can guess which.
Religion: Selarions are not fully religious, but worship planets and what they can give. Since they grew up watching planets float above them, they mostly love travel, and always dream of the stars.
Extra: Because they are slimes, they are very resilient. They can change the mass and shape of their bodies, take blunt damage or bring shot without any real damage and use a bit of their own body as a catalyst for their own attacks. If a Selarion is truly smart and builds it's own machinery to harness its own plasma, it might be hard to deal with.

Planet Name: The Forgotten Land (Green-Zone 44-B) (Tenlandra)
Image: Tenlandra
Description:
The Forgotten Land, Green-Zone 44-B, Tenlandra. This place has many names, but no one knows the true name because most haven't come back, or haven't wanted to leave. Call them grass people, call them parasites, the Tendralins are somewhat a mix of both. Believed to be an experiment gone wrong by a twisted scientist who wanted to make certain dreams a reality, Tenlandra was made. Tenlandra is a grassy green world filled with nothing...Literally nothing. There is only grass, trees and a very bustling eco-system. Anything that might be considered alive, is in the eco-system itself. The planet is full of living grass people who live their lives on most needed plant life needs. Photosynthesis, pollination, etc. They can pollinate themselves and move on to making other plant like creatures grow. It is said their pollen can be turned into a sweet nectar that makes you live longer. Everyone here is made of some plant in some way or form.

There is a bit of problem with the Tenlandran's. They have tentacles that sprout from their body. They can use it to attack, attract mates, inject a small bit of themselves into another, etc. The problem is, they become addictive if you take too much of whatever they inject. They carry special pharamones that are almost make you feel the same as any other addictive drug. They make you come back for more, and after a while...They keep you.
Religion: There is no religion for the Tenlandra.
Extra: No Trelandra can be dominated. Male or female they do not fall prey to any sort of mind control or seduction.
