I promised that when I retired as a hostess I'd still get up to shenanigans in the guild, right?

Well, here I am. Shenaniganing.

For the month of February I am running a fanficton contest. Theme: First Kiss

Grand Prize: February's Sealed Letter

You're thinking to yourself right now: Hell yes I want in on that. I have inspo up the ying yang and the yearn to write some smutty smut about my fav characters.

So here's what you do. You get that smutty smut written. You realize that you might have tossed ToS out the window with your character's pants. Whoops. Well. First you're gonna post the pg-13 version in the guild in this here subforum (and maybe the not so pg-13 version somewhere else, y'all know the interwebs wants to see the dirties, just not here)

Then you're gonna come back to this thread and make a post being all "Hey Minty cakes! I want to submit my [amazing title here] to February's contest." To which I'll be all like "Coolio." And do the reading and the judging and probably a lot of the blushing and giggling because I am a mature adult like that.

What can be submitted: (This is kinda important)

Any fanfiction new to this subforum, if you've got the perf story somewhere else and want to copy pasta it here, that's fine. As long as the story's first appearance coincides with the month of February.

The theme is 'first kiss', how ever you want to explore that theme is up to you. First kiss ever, first kiss between to people, first Australian kiss (hurr hurr hurr), whatevs. If you get kinda super philosophical and bendy about it, you might want to put a little note in your "Hey Minty cakes!" post about how it fits the theme so I don't spend all day being perpetually confused. (not that that won't happen anyways)

You can use any fan fiction, or even original characters if you like. But I will probably be giving bonus points for anything that features anon(s). Even if you do a crossover (like Tempty and The Woman having a jam session where they swap dom tips)

((PS, I'm doing this thing where I'm attempting to only be on during the weekends (yes I posted this on a Tuesday. (or take them off I guess, we are the kinky anon guild, might improve your Minty siting chances)))

Left to my Own Devices

Gypsy nibbled her lower lip, thinking to herself. "I didn't expect to find myself here. I'm timid, loud noises make me jump, and harsh speaking makes me flinch. So how am I here with you like this?"

The blue elf turned then, looking at the sleeping girl leaning on her. She couldn't help smiling, it was nice seeing her look so at peace. No grumbling, no snapping, just light rhythmic breaths.

They had a crazy day. The elf who worked for demons stealing souls, coming here and asking her, of all people, to teach her people skills. There had been high and low points, but it took one simple little gesture to make Gypsy doubt the other was all hate and rage. Though she had sneered calling it acting, further interaction had even more points of proof.

Daenes's reaction to her stars, the softer spoken words as she lay bare what she knew nothing about. There had been an ache in the smaller elf's chest, when in whispered breath she heard the other didn't know anything of kindness or affection. It was nearly reflex, Gypsy hugged her.

Oh there was fear, she felt the body she held tense. She was prepared to be pushed away, growled or snapped at, but there was no words. "Is this okay?" She had asked but as always when she was nervous, she stuttered. The girl in her arms said simply it was fine, and she held on. She even hugged back and the response was immediate, a nuzzle.

Again the body tensed and the smaller elf stopped herself from overloading the other with affection. "Baby steps," her mind said. Shortly after the girl had grown sleepy. With a little back rubbing and gentle coaxing, here they were.

"I'm not sure you're really learning much of anything from me." Her words were the softest whisper she could manage. She carefully fixed the blanket and gently moved a few loose hairs from the other elf's face. Her eyes fell on the lip ring studying it for a moment. She wondered if it had hurt, or if the other female had not even flinched.

"I bet it was a simple thing for you." There was a smile evident even in those whispered words. "Pain you know, but not this. I hope you take this with you when you go, affection isn't so bad."

She shifted and leaned closer. "I-I'm sorry I'm not perfect. S-so forgive me if you sleep poorly . . .o-or this makes you angry." Taking a deep breath, she glanced again at her lips before gently pressing her own to them.

Daenes awoke, a strange warm sensation on her lips. Something soft? She touched them with a finger before opening her eye. "How did you sleep?" Gypsy gave her a smile, wondering if she knew what had woken her up.
