'Note I said warrior,' he reminded her. 'If the person's earned your respect, then surely they're worthy enough not to make hell out of your life?'

Rios had stopped practicing with his sword and listened to Eva's and Jon's conversation through his little ice bugs he set along the entire interior of the Clock Tower. "Why are they coming up here" he thought then stood up an sheathed his sword and climbed onto the edge of the Clock Tower and waited for them to get all the way up to where he was.

(Eva frowned as she looked at Jon)Why are you asking about this?(she looked at him)You can't be saying you love me? In this time and from where we are from love is truly dead(she hissed as she looked at him and didn't see a down ceiling beam and stumbled into it)owwww

'Trust me, feelings aren't something I let get in the way of my work,' Jon replied. 'I was just curious, that's all.'
When she hit her noggin, he sighed and asked, 'You OK or are you gonna need a lie down or something?'

(Eva shook her head as she rubed it)No I'm fine this is nothing like getting stabbed in the gut(she growled as she stood up and glared at the clearing)keep an eye out for things like that(she growled as she kept moving on)where is he...if I don't see him in the next few floors I'm saying screw it and head back out of this dump.

'He's probably at the top,' Jon sighed, stretching a little as they continued. 'You only hit your head because you weren't looking where you were going.'

'Can't you multi-task though?' Jon replied, remaining calm and even yawning through the rather short argument. 'I mean, I can. I read whilst I eat, fight as I talk. Surely you can do similar?'

(Eva stopped and glared at him as she spun on her heel.)I can multi task like the rest of them...but stupidity is something I can't ignore(she snarled as she got into his face)so tell me why your asking such stupid questions!!!

Rios sighed as he listened to the two bicker then walked to the door and started his way down the clocktower. Rios walked along the old wooden stairs as they creaked and groaned under the weight of him and his massive sword. "Why are they here, more specifically why is she here." he said then the floor under him gave way and he fella ways. Rios landed on a semi solid walkway and groaned as he felt a sharp pain in his ribs. "Great I break ribs in a simple fall" he said then stood up and looked behind him. A Deadman smiled at him. Above Eva and Jon there was a red explosion of blood as boards flew everywhere and a figure in black flew past them slaming into the walkway under them.

'... I think I'll save that answer for later,' Jon replied, pulling out his carbine, checking that its clip was Worm Eater, before readying to fight.
'Looks like we have a bigger problem.'
