Dragon, they flew above the sky with such power and beauty, but were also creatures to respect and fear from other creatures though some learned it to hard way y being killed to near extinction or to respect the dragons by showing the fact hey were more stronger then the other races. Kings, chiefs. Alphas, what rank of the races had as leader, they all had to bow to a dragon Emperor if they didn't want to deal with the wrath of the horde of the dragons, until one day the human race were tired of being consider a lesser race and just fodder to the dragons, convincing every other race to stand up, to be able to live to not be seen as lesser race, thus a war started against the dragons, and the dragons chuckle as if it were birds fighting over a worm. Which people understand their laughter, years turn to decades, then centuries of fighting dragons were barely showing any signs of any of the races winning. A Canime, one of the most vicious creatures, called up a meeting to all the races to form a council, then shared his advise to others if they wanted to try another pattern in this war. “We are useless together, much to my hate of talking to any of you, but I have come to that we can't fight these dragons alone as a race, but unite as a legion, if we can use the brains of a goblin and gnome together, imagine what they can create for sky assaults? Orcs and giants? Even my pack respects your skills of strength and pride...” the Canime shook his mane of fur, Canime may be consider 7 foot tall wolf, their upper body a bit more human look, his blood red eyes looked at the others. “Leaders! Speak to the others of my choice, if you all agree then return within the next full moon here and then, as a legion, we can vanquish the dragons together!” And of course as the other leaders came the next full moon the Canime was there sitting on a log waiting patiently for their showing. “So seeing how you whelps look I think you all agree to my plan?” The wolf like creature gave such a toothy grin that it just gave shivers to the leaders spine then the grateful feeling of the agreement everyone made and sign that night of the combine strength, or in the Canime eyes, a legion to reckon with.
40 years of many death of dragons was a good sign, the alliance of all the alliance had made such glorious weapons with the combine ideas, before a plan of a celebration of a good start, things change dragons called royals show themselves in the fights, more intelligence dragons then the ones the other races have dealt with in the wars, what was also challenging these royal dragons were able to use much more magic, yet the spirit of everyone didn't dwindle and kept on pressing the fight until even the royal dragons death count started rising once everyone else changed the weapons and armor to face the stronger dragons. Dragons went as far as burying their children to hide once they notice that more dragons were dying, even the story of the strongest dragon, Miriku the shadow dragon would be notice due to him missing his left eye, but then suddenly disappear before an army killed his dragon clan, even with the hunting group to find the last dragon of that family they couldn't find him and believe he fled in shame. Victory came finally for everyone as barely even royal dragons were left to re-populate even themselves, Orc, Canime, Gnome, Humans, everyone all raised their sword and shields, guns or whatever they were holding, giving out such a battle cheer, yet off in the distance only one being wasn't joining in the cheering, his serpent eyes were off in his resemblance of a human, for he was a dragon taking the form of it so he wouldn't be spotted right away. “So even the mightiest creatures such as us can fall when their together...their new beginning will be quite nice to watch from the distance...” As if he was sure of himself he turned to such a huge red dragon, much larger then the royals right in the city, letting out a below roar. “Creatures you have won but you have not yet faced a King dragon! Be prepared for the kings seek vengeance, that is all I'm giving you as a warning! My kind will try and rise again as one!” he flapped his wings a few times to get in the air and flew off, right above the shaken army. “I will be off, for I am not going to be fighting something that my children have lost to! But I'm not the only King dragon, so be prepared for your future!” and as of that the large red beast was gone over the mountains on the north. Though the dragons are now in such a desperate situation the leaders have change the alliance to a peace treaty, seeing as how there's even a dragon much greater then a royal they can't go on their ways until they learn more about the dragons and how to kill a king, and they went off to start off their new lives as not separated, but together, and never forgetting if it wasn't for the alliance then they wouldn't have won.
500 years later dragons were now consider rogue, royals were still called that but there were barely even left to be consider a treat to populate anymore, of course some kingdoms having civil wars here and there, but it leads to a village built nearby the mountains, where the sudden black dragon flew above the city, but didn't land in there but off in the forest, before the panic of the village calmed down, the dragon was off, Doroga, a 10 foot tall giant didn't think that was consider normal for a beast that can fly such distance without rest, him and a few men went off to the forest to see if they can find clues as to why a dragon landed nearby, their answer was answered when the noise of a crying baby hit the giants ears before the humans with him heard it, they quickened their pace to find the child. The little baby was gently wrapped in a bundle of a bed made grass with a purple looking parrot that had just the green eyes none of them have ever seen a parrot have such green eyes yet when it stared at them they felt such dark magic around the bird they didn't know if it'll let them get near the child, the parrot bird dropped a note before it flew on a branch nearby, still staring at them but Doroga was a bit hesitant making a step, but walked over to pick up the child and tried calming the child as one of the humans picked up the note, opening it to read it aloud so everyone else know what it said:
Dear Beings...Village,
As much as I want to take care of this half-blood sibling of mine I can't deal with such a creature that is born as dragon and human, her mother and father have died in one of the major cities, I sworn my brother I sent this child somewhere safe with her guardian bird brain there you might have spotted. My brother told me to bring her here where her mother was raise until she left with a dragon, I trust you can keep this brat safe from your kind, a being born as her even Royal dragons won't bother raising her to use against humans...maybe living somewhere small maybe she can be seen as a new creature instead of an abomination to anyone....I won't bother coming to check on her or protect her, I kept my end of the promise, now I'll just let you lesser beings choose if you want to treat her anyway you want.
Doroga could see the anger over the humans face of the note, he agree that the dragon wasn't treating the child as a sibling. “Wasn't Alice the only one known to have left? I hope they killed her quickly...to think she fell for a dragon,” Doroga grabbed the note and the bottom of the note just said Katrina. “So...how are we going to tell the village about...Katrina...and her bird...” said Doroga, he jumped when the bird spoke. “Oh you don't have to name me, I'm fine with bird, lesser beings.” Doroga didn't know if he can handle anything else odd but just turned to walk back to the village as if the bird didn't spoke.
“Wait, Doroga don't you know what this would cause if other cities learn about her? Are you really going to accept that child?” said Jonathan seeming still freaked out after the bird spoke.
“Of course, this child just lost her parents and has a very grumpy dragon for an uncle...and plus Alice trust us with her baby...it's the least we should do...what difference is me then you, and many other kinds? Another race is no harm done as long we raise her as any other child, no?” That seemed to silence him and the walk back was quiet until they got back home with many questions to answer, and of course, the argument over about Katrina, the only thing Doroga hope was that the girl in his arms can be seen as an equal instead of an abomination to everyone just because a human and a dragon have fallen in love. “Alice, I know you weren't a fool so you must have seen something in your husband and so was he to you...”
As years go by while the child grew up, she always had a peaceful time there but she wanted to know more then this little village, but she knew the fact that because she is part dragon it seemed she won't have far to go or a chance to convince other beings that she just wants to live with everyone else. By 14 she has learned something in the forest that her bird companion sensed, there was a part of the forest he wouldn't go to and warned her to not go there, but when did she ever listen to him? While exploring she has noticed, no...sensed the lack of life being absorb by something, following the sensation changed to a presence of a living being.
In a little clearing a large tree had a being looked like he was shoved in the tree with many seals all over and around the tree, the one thing that gave her shivers is he was dragon, she didn't understood how she knew, but she could sense the dragon in the man, pointy ears and some teeth showing, the guy was sleeping with his mouth slightly open, a scar on his eye from what may been an old battle wound. "A life form nearby? I haven't sensed one in ages..." mist and light seemed to shimmer around until it settle to show a form of the dragon still stuck in the tree, his one eye open to see the girl. ''What is this? my mind is muggy from waking up but I sense dragon in you?"
