shortly after xzavior wakes up his head aching... he gets up off the ground and heads for the caslte making sure not to be seen then heads the the dungeons to look for jaiko... when he finds his he dismisses the guards and sits in front of the cell

Ana sighed and shook her head. There was no fighting it. The male was set in his ways and if he wanted to throw himself into the line of fire, she would not stop him. She cast a glance to the girl beside him and frowned. “An yoo?”

Ellie straightened up as she was addressed. She’d been examining the strange letters on the male’s weapons. She’d never seen some of them before but then again she couldn’t read a simple sentence let alone a scripture. She offered a small smile and pulled out her book once more. “I’m not sure how much help I will be, but I will do as I can.” She smiled softly and Ana shook her head.

Suicidal, the lot of them. Ana gave a nod as she flicked her wrist and her three part boa staff fell lose, snapping into place. “Ef yoo fall behind, ey will leave yoo.” She made her point rather clear. If they wanted to risk their lives, that was their prerogative but she had a mission. “Lead za way, God man.”

Shiang shook his head." Its not a man thing you know. Now that we helped you escape if we went up to the surface we would be arrested just as if you went up above. The guards of this city are scum most of them anyway." Shiang held the light to his face and showed a large jagged scar on his face." I was drunk one day in the alley I call home and with his steel scaled boot a guard kicked me in the side of my face several times because I was on the same street as a mugging had happened I wasn't involved but he kicked me in the face none the less. These guards don't care we were seen with you to them we are with you and are conspirators against the crown or murders even bandits. The point is we are now together no matter what." Shiang placed his staff to the ground and leaned on it for a second before he turned and headed for the tunnel they passed.

Ana shook her head “Zey don’t ‘ave enough power to arrest me.” she stated defiantly. She had to agree with the rest though because out of what she had seen, only that strange red haired man had proved to be different. She was still trying to understand him, even after she had seen splotches of his past. Something about his eyes disturbed her. While she had yet to figure out what, she was determined to figure it out one way or another. She spun on her heel as Shiang began to lead their pack back the way she desired.

Ellie took up stride right beside the man and tilted her head to the side with a small smile. “I’m Ellie.” She stated after several seconds of silence. “You sing you name so I thought it might be nice to know ours.” She tapped his fingers lightly against a blank page of her book and shot a look to Ana, who had taken up the rear of their group. “My master’s not gonna be happy about all this… but I don’t think he’d let me be arrested…” She frowned slightly. Being arrested would be preferable to going back to that dark and dreary house. She slept in the basement, atop a bed of straw. At least in jail she would have a slightly brighter room. She let those thoughts drop and once more turned her eyes to Ana. The strange talking woman huffed and looked away as she realized what the woman wanted.

“Ana Gram. And sense we are getting too know one another, don touch me ef yoo have zings to hide. Ey can see za past and future.” She turned her gaze to Ellie who shrank back a bit and frowned. It was clear that the girl was worried what Ana might have seen during their brief connection.

Exzavior sits back in his chair "so tell me why you are hear you don't bear the mark of the guards here but of another" he pulls his hood off his head revealing his face "don't worry im not from this place either" this reveals his slight accent and his features of a slim man no older than his early 20's but the eyes tell a much longer story

Shiang turned and looked at Anna with a seriously horrified look."Then for your own sake dont touch me. There are things that if you saw in my mind you would go as mad as I have gone these past few years. I warn you this once." Shiang turned and tipped his bottle back and drank deeply before walking on. Politely he spoke to Ellie and Anna." It is nice to meet you both. I hope we all come out on the end of this no worse for the wear." Shiang raised his hand to light the way for the three of them. It didnt take very long for them to return to the tunnel they had passed which Shiang immediately turned down and braced himself with this staff to keep from slipping down the slightly slanted down pipe.

Power: Energy solidification - When he moves his extremities, he can create a trail of energy. He can also solidify this energy and utilize it for various purposes, such as creating a shield by swinging his arm to make a laterally or a blade by swinging it horizontal or vertically.
Bio: Orion hails from a sect of monks who engaged in the practice of controlling the energy field of their own body to manifest it into the physical realm. The skilled monks were able to make complex forms and even live and moving avatars. When the Demons attacked, Orion was just in his early training days. As such he can only create rudimentary waves and trails with his energy yet.
He was able to survive and escape the attack as his master had created an elaborate manifestation of a wall that didn't exist and slipped Orion inside. The Demons passed him by, thinking it was merely a wall and didn't know some one was inside the replica. Orion has been wandering the kingdom, looking for a purpose and self-training.

Age: 19
Weapon: Sword, pistol, and bombs
Power: None.
Bio: A.C. has been going through life alone from the very beginning. She was abandoned as an infant. She fought for her place among the orphans. She fought for survival among the ruffians. When she was in a dark place, tired of going through it alone, she met Orion. He had talked her out of ending her life and has been traveling along with him, claiming to be his body guard.

Ana shrugged her shoulders. It wasn’t like she went hunting for people to peer into their unmentionables. She didn’t want to see them but they were thrust upon her. Had she the proper tutelage by her people she may have been able to control it but that was out of the question. She pivoted down the tunnel and found herself gripping the wall as her feet slipped. Her fingernails dug into the wall, cracking slightly at the ends but she cared not.

Ellie had no such luck. Unlike the other two, she slipped, fell and slid several feet away from her companions. The dark didn’t help for as she gained distance from Shiang and his light, she was pulled closer to the darkness and one of her many fears. She gripped her notebook tightly. It couldn’t do much good if she couldn’t see what she was summoning so unless she drew something on the spot, her powers were virtually useless.

“woman, are yoo okay? Do not move so much.” She had managed to catch her bearings and begin a slow walk. As a master of water, she would have to get rid of some of the slime by reducing the amount of water in the area. But first, where were they and what of those creatures that the drunk spoke of?

"I don't like this."
The tiresome voice from behind him made Orion stop in his tracks once more.
"What is it now?" He asked in an exasperated voice. It was clear from his tone he was no stranger to the girl's whining.
"Where are we going? We are way too far from port, and I feel uncomfortable staying away from my boat for so long. You said this was going to be a short trip!"
"It IS short, compared to the endless toiling around that I'm used to. All I know that the clues that I've gathered about the demon attacks all for some reason converge upon the capital. This means the new King might be in danger. I plan to report my findings to the government to warn the King."
A.C. tsked as she looked away to pout, kicking a stray piece of rock as she did so.
"I supposed you're unaware of the dissatisfied voices of the mass who complain about the new king."
Orion neglected to give A.C. more attention as he walked on.
"New regimes are always doomed to be criticized in the beginning. Besides, the new king had unfortunately inherited the throne after the old king had released Demons on his lands. No king could get a handle on a situation like that."
"You seem overly protective of the king." A.C. asked.
Orion kept moving on but replied "I just don't like the old king for unleashing the horde that killed the monks of my temple. My master was like a father to me."
A.C. turned to him again and stared at his back.
"Just keep in mind Revenge is a dangerous path in any culture."

Shiang threw his light down after Ellie just as she slipped and fell. Like wolves the rat beasts swarmed rushing down upon Ellie. Shiang jumped down the tunnel sweeping his staff in a wide arch the head of his staff striking those that came first. Taking a low stance his reached into the folds of his cloak and removed the three throwing knives on his right side and threw them full force into the three closest that had yet to rush as fast as the others to get away. Like wolves they rushed in but like rats they rushed away to save their own skins. Shiang moved over Ellie making sure the light stayed where she could see it. Shiang looked her over to make sure she was okay but as he looked her over the rats returned the smell of something to eat drove them on and gave them courage being so close to their nest.
